I'll just answer that one, instead of several other replies in the same vein:
We get it, you prefer the 510, to a fault.
Your tone and adversarial/accusatory attitude aren't appreciated though. You might want to work on that if you want people to take you seriously.
I like my 510, but this was not a 510 review. I sincerely doubt my opinion on the KR8 would have been much different if I only had or prefered a 901, or a cigar, both of which I also own.
Actually, given
what I don't like about the KR8, that should be absolutely obvious.
That some people would not like what I wrote was utterly predictable. It's funny, though, to see those very people rushing in several days after that was posted and getting quite personal in their replies. Not that this is a big suprise, I was wondering what kept them. Fanboy alarm system not working? Or was everybody away on a looong weekend?
Let me put it like this: Do you seriously think that this is going to tun people to the KR8? Making personal attacks against somebody who doesn't like it very much, for very obvious reasons, and declaring that whatever the attacked person likes, they could not possibly like? I at least tried the KR8, that's more than some people are willing to do.
And that's all I have to say about this shallow attempt at group bashing. And now go and grow up.
I my draws are long, light and slow, about ten seconds. Three draws with a ten second rest in between and the cartomizer is barely even warm yet for me, we must have quite a different draw style.
Maybe we have, although I doubt that somehow. There is not that much
possible variation, methinks. Maybe it is my equiptment, but then, other people reported the same problem.
I can only report what I found and point out that others had similar experiences. Good for you that you had not.
Will the German Commission make decisions based upon the FDA findings and that is why you are so greatly concerned about FDA rulings? I'm sorry unless that is true it makes about as much sense as me being upset that Hong Kong has banned ecigs, which obviously I feel sorry for them but I'm not affected or concerned by it.
The FDA is already widely quoted in several countries and instances with their infamous report, including a few newspaper articles in Germany. The anti-smokers also like to cite whatever suits them, regardless of country of origin. What happens in the US tends to have somewhat more impact internationally than what happens elsewhere. Whatever one thinks about that, it's a plain and simple fact.
With proper usage the filler will not burn so this becomes a non issue to me.
That is what it seems several people thought before they cut open their KR8s and found burned filling. Of course everybody is free to take their own risk, but I sure would prefer an alternative without said risk.
