So,...am I to understand that most of you folks ordered you Dani Minis from Creme de vape?
I haven't even ordered a Dani yet but it will most likely be from them. Their good reputation is well known in the vaping community. I'll check out the SQuape shop, as well, for sales and price comparisons, etc.

This is interesting because I was on the Swiss Dicodes site last night looking at the stabwoods. They had several of the EXACT ones shown on the Dicodes USA site.

I just figured there must be a European warehouse where certain items are sent from.

That would explain 1) USA Dicodes not being up to date on the inventory and 2) I can’t remember lol! Oh I remember- that would also explain the length of time to delivery although 4 weeks? China does better than 4 weeks. Shoot Fasttechs been getting my stuff delivered in 2-3 weeks on the slow boat.

Sounds like you dealt with a major headache. Unfortunately, Dicodes USA is the only shop that had the most stabwoods. The shop in Germany was the only other one to have them listed. I did send them an email so I’ll wait to see what happens.

I’ve been in contact with Vincent C through email when I contacted them previously. He sent a 20% Off coupon code.

I’m really nervous about spending almost $500 at that store after hearing some of this thread.

I bought one of the first stab woods Dicodes released (#104) and as long as I've followed them I have never seen duplicates. Each is unique. So if you're seeing the same mods on different sites, someone has grabbed a photo from another dealer. I'm not sure if they would be to your liking, but just a couple of days ago Creme de Vape had two listed in stock.

I should stress that I'm talking about the stabilized wood versions. After those were released, Dicodes also introduced some other models - seems like they were called Transfer mods or something like that. I've never seen one in the flesh but I'm pretty sure they were a sort of permanent skin or wrap for the decoration - and those WERE exactly the same in each respective color and pattern.

Do you mean to email Dicodes directly? , I live in UK so do i need to send myself the device to them?
what about Creme de Vape my seller, my warranty right..
Thank you
yes, email them directly.

of course you have to ship it to them.

i think it is just a dirty button though.

just some junk that builds up on the silver button part and the body.

i've cleaned mine before, improved immediately.

ok, here goes...

get a toothbrush, windex or water, your choice.

remove device battery.

hold device so that button faces the ground.

dip and shake excess cleaner from toothbrush.

gently scrub around the outside diameter of button where it goes into the body.

actuate button several times, do this several times, you will feel a difference.

The response from DiCodes in Germany? inquiring if DiCodes USA was affiliated with the main company...

I've been pretty forthright with my disgust at Dicodes-USA, but it's only fair that I mention a (possible?) good thing about them.

Since they appeared maybe two years ago, for their office they listed an address in California - Covina as I remember. But googling that address showed that the location was for a company who sold portable air conditioning systems. So either the vape business was a backroom hobby sort of thing or there was intent to hide their real location.

During this latest thread, I now see they've changed the address they list on their website. The address comes up as in a business park but no tenant is listed. So there's some chance it could actually be their headquarters. Considering their past performance, I'm not convinced it's not just a better effort at trying to appear legit.

As for the stab mod availability, I'm not sure if things have somehow changed but I do know the mods have always been available for the dealers to buy from that Dicodes stock, and carry in stock at their own location. When I bought my stab Dani from Creme de Vape, it shipped the same day from the UK. Some stores may not wish (or be able to) tie that much money up and there's where the preorder thing arises. No crime there, but I would expect a company to be open and honest about how the transaction will be handled.

Georg was the person I've dealt with at Dicodes and is great, taking care of any questions or issues I had. I think his response is saying that the pictures you saw may be theirs, showing the dealers what is available - or the other option of being a dealer showing the mods they've bought and received. Considering my past experiences with D-USA, I lean strongly to the first option.

It looks like Dicodes USA is kinda shady imo. No? I think I’ll pass on purchasing from them.

The bummer aspect is that they are actually MORE expensive than Dicodes USA especially with my $20 discount code I was given. Then add in shipping fees.

Waaaaay to rich for this lady.

If you're comparing to Creme de Vape, it's important to realize you're going to pay a lot less than the price listed. Since they're in the UK, the Value Added Tax is included in the price you see. If your account has a shipping address in the US, the VAT is not charged and amounts to about 20%.

Your coupon makes a difference for sure. But when I've checked a price comparison, CdV was always $20-40 cheaper even when the international shipping was added. From memory, their standard shipping is 15 pounds, and takes 7 to 10 days. I know they now offer DHL (2-3 days) but don't know what the cost is.

And yes, they are expensive. Enough to make one's eyes water. But I really like the one I have and somehow it's nice to know that it is unique.
