Man I gotta stop coming around here! Like I need shinyitis inflating my vape budget right when it was down to ‘maintenance’ mode :)

Already have a good dozen dna mods (250s, 75s & 75Cs), but I’ve recommitted to dropping the analog stinkies for good, so decided to roll the dice & treat myself.

Ordered a Dani Box 21700 titan from dicodes-USA. Actually received a tracking number for the shipment within 15 minutes of the order. We shall see...

Does anyone know of a place that sells that vinyl wraps for the Dicodes 21700? I got one for my Dicodes Mini, and love it. Just can't find a place that sells em for the 21700.

I'd send ZapWrapz a note in their contact section. They were extremely helpful for me with a situation I had (with USPS). Quite friendly, very responsive...

Maybe they're already working on something.

Contact us

I haven't installed them yet (probably a few years away), but their wraps seem to be excellent quality. Great colors too.

I'm waiting until I scratch 'em up real good, which is inevitable.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

The ZapWrapz are MARVELOUS. Yeppers, I concur. I have no idea if they do or have done 21700 wraps (yet), but as DpL said, it's certainly worth a quick note to them.

Damn you guys, this 21700 dani box is awesome!

Very smooth power delivery, reminds me of provaris a bit. Running an SSL316l temp control coil in a serpent elevate @35w.

Menu system is a bit of a pita though. Directions from the barcode in the box are in German only??? I need to find an English copy. Checked out a few YouTube vids & pbusardos seemed to be the most comprehensive coverage of the menu system.

Anyone know how the temp control setup works? The button press sequence for the ‘init’ ‘’confirm’ ‘process’? I’m not sure I’ve set that up right and the vape is definitely different depending on what I select/press in that menu.

Ok, so after vaping the Dani 21700 for about a week every day I’m absolutely in love with the smooth power delivery & form factor. I have found something unusual though.

I’m using the same 26ga 316l ss wire I’ve used on all my DNA mods for the last few years. 6-7 coil wrap @.5 ohms. Problem is when I set tmpctrl to the 316l profile (92 tcr) and do a calibration the vape is absolutely anemic, almost no vapor production @35 watts with temp limit at 450F.

If I switch to the 304 ss profile and do a calibration (105 tcr) I get thick flavorful clouds. I’ve tried this a dozen times and get the same result every time.

Is the new ss316l profile on the dicodes wacked or is the tcr wire I’m running closer to a 105 coefficient than a 92? Should I be concerned that a 105 may burn the wick if not set correctly for the wire type or should I just vape away @105 & enjoy???

So I vape with the same wire in tc. All three of my dicodes, I've gotta bump up the tcr to around 110-120.

Thanks a0d, it’s amazing how dramatic the difference is...I mean from a tcr of 92 to 105 it goes from almost nothing to fairly dense vape. Glad you can confirm my experience on 3 different dicode devices.

Thanks for the advice ! I purchased a Dani box 21700 4 weeks ago and I am thoroughly disappointed. The SS 316L was terrible on this mod, compaired to my other mods . I switched the TC to other and the TCR to 115 and the vape was better. I was hoping that this was a learning curve, but now l'm not so sure. The supplied NiFe 30 was better, but my Paranormal DNA 75C and my sx mini SL currently are far superior with SS 316L !!

Yeah, I'm not sure what causes it. On my DNA 75c mod, I don't have screw with it. Just works. My Dicodes, I've gotta bump up the TCR. But I will say, once I find the sweet spot on the Dicodes, DNA can't even compare to it.
