I don't know why legal authorties have not taken any action regarding these people. They have a history of using addresses occupied by other, unrelated businesses. I checked one out earlier (may have been the one previous to this or maybe they've used others) and it was a place that rented/leased large portable air conditioners. According to their local BBB, D-USA is now listing their location as 28446 Constellation Rd Valencia, CA 91355-5081.

Searching that address, I see that it was a vacant property two years ago, and since then Ars Performance and Dray Tech Inc (Altering & Remodeling Contractors, Building Contractors) have been tenants. Dicodes-USA is not listed at that address by any search service I used.Just like with the air conditioning address, the only place I see that lists Dicodes-USA being there is their own web page.


They still have a banner stating they're the authorized distrbutor for North America. They are not and never have been. When they eventually provided a street address for their business, they were not doing business there. And once I pointed that out online, their address was updated to the one currently listed on their site. I'm pretty sure they are not there either - it would be great for anyone local to do a drive-by to prove me wrong.

And finally, take a look at the screen shot I took a couple of minutes ago. They're offering the Dani DLC for sale, with a "add to cart" button. Check out that they say it is a preorder and when it will arrive. I will guarantee that no one would ever be able to get what their credit card was charged for, since that model was a very limited production and sold out quickly worldwide.

Well, to inject a bit of good news, they are not entirely fly-by-night.

People do get their money back, or the product they ordered, eventually - at least pretty often.

So, get on them for a refund and stay on them.

I don’t know if everyone gets their money back, but it does seem to happen.

Just a heads-up: Dicodes-USA has had $325 of mine for over 7 weeks now and haven't responded to emails in over a month. And of course, they're not answering the phone.

Two Items I ordered were shipped pretty quickly (about $200 worth) So I'm not sure what to think

That actually might be the best way to combat the really questionable actions of this company. Credit card processors do not like charge backs. At all. Early on, fees (like a bounced check penalty) will be assessed against the company and if there are too many, the business will be dropped.

Maybe it's just my fervor against them (as they pulled all this stuff on my order from them years ago when they first appeared on the scene) but somehow I remember reading somewhere that they had been dropped by PayPal already.

I had issues with getting the Dicodes 21700 from DicodesUSA when it was first released. After about two months, I requested a refund. DicodesUSA is trash. But.......They did reply to my emails, and no issues with giving me a refund. CDV is much better, and I usually get my packages within two days when picking DHL for shipping. From the UK to SLC. Even with the expensive shipping, it's quicker and cheaper than DicodesUSA.

Dicodes USA is a website purporting to be the official US site for Dicodes mods.

They are not affiliated with Dicodes.

They do sell Dicodes mods. Sometimes. With a hefty markup.

They are, in actuality, an overseas vape business.

There is no official Dicodes dealer in The US.

The best place to buy Dicodes mods is Creme de Vape in the UK.

There are other good places, in Europe, to buy Dicodes mods but Creme de Vape is, by far, the best imo.

I think this means that these are the places that get their stock directly from Dicodes, and are in comunication with Dicodes on a regular basis.

Every other shop selling Dicodes mods is getting their stock from one of these recognized shops.

So Dicodes USA is ordering from someone on the above list, getting it’s stock shipped to Malaysia, and then shipping to their mailing address in the States, and then re-packaging, and then sending it on to the consumer.

I don’t think they maintain any stock on hand, or very little, if any.

So, you order from Dicodes USA, they place an order for that order from Malaysia, wait for the order, and then have to ship it to the States, and then, blah blah blah.

It all takes time and money, so the prices end up being high, etc.. And during the pandemic they may not be able to get any stock at all.

So they are sitting on customers’ money for even longer than usual, which is to say a very long time to begin with.

Do not encourage them.

I assume it is not worth carrying the minimum stock necassary to qualify as a Dicodes store partner, and, I suspect, that not having to pay VAT in the States makes that so.

True, but at least they have integrity. I paid a bit more for an Xvo once (from them), so many (MANY) moons ago.

Twas worth it.

First choice is CdV, all the time and every time. But I'd be okay if I had to buy from the fine folks at VA too.

Yeah, the reason I was ASKING was because I've made a few purchases from Vapinart and they've always been awesome. Fastest shipping times I ever heard of. When I bought my Haar from there five minutes after they went live for sale, I barely had my finger off the mouse button and I had a notice that it was shipped.

My wife ordered from Dicodes USA for my Bday present. After a few weeks of trying to find out when they would ship, and no answer. She ordered from CDV and it arrived in a few days. She went to the bank, and the lady at the bank canceled her card and submitted an investigation. Had to be issued another card, and took two weeks before she got a refund from the bank.

Maybe I missed something so forgive me if I'm repeating covered ground. But did you try calling your credit card company? Maybe you don't have to get your card changed or anything, they can just do a chargeback to the vendor.

Just pretend that at the end of the phone call you may win a few hundred dollars which you can then use to treat yourself to something.
