Got my griffin rta from geek vape! Liking it so far

I'm updating my vaping stuff after a year. I just got the Bellus this past wknd and I was deciding whether to get another one or something else. I looked at several different rta's and I like the build deck on the griffin for bigger coils. I'm probably going to go with the griffin, but we'll see what a night of rest does on my decision.:)

Looking to get into an rta also.
Looks like my choice is going to be a griffin but then Gemini looks good too. Having a hard time deciding [emoji849]

I ordered the griffin this morning... wasn't aware of the Gemini. I just watched a comparison video btwn the 2, and I'm happy with what I ordered. The top airflow of the Gemini seems like a gimmick to me; heck, I probably won't have the air open all the way on the griffin. I bought the griffin for the build deck... and the Gemini is basically the same. I'm sure I would be happy with either of them. I believe this purchase, with the bellus I got over the wknd, will complete my purchases for vape gear over the next year. I can only imagine what they will come up with by this time next year--can't wait.:D

Famous last words - complete my vape gear purchases for the rest of the year :D. It's still only March my friend (I'm just messing around). I'll say the 25mm tanks seem to be coming out fast and furious. I'd say that's going to be the hottest thing in the future (25mm is the new 22mm ).

Cheers,
Steve

I've been in the vaping scene since 2008.:smokie: I am very slow to change. I've been using the lemo 1 & 2 for the last year. What a difference the bellus is compared to the lemo tanks. I tried vaping on my lemo today and I felt like I was going to pull a lung.:D I used to think the lemo had great air flow... and it did compared to my protank. I do my best to make sure this doesn't become a hobby because I know how easy it can become one, an expensive one. Have a good one.

I was just joking around. What a coincidence, I'm vaping on my Black Bellus as I'm typing this. Love the direct airflow, it's really a great tank. My only slight issue with it is I always seem to get a few drops of juice out of the airflow holes after filling (nothing major).

Cheers,
Steve

Yeah, I've heard you mention that before. I was having issues, like many others, with leaking when I filled the tank from the top. I re-wicked and stuffed cotton completely in the juice channels. Since, I have been able to top fill with no leaking issues--period. It's wicking well with no dry hits. As with most new stuff, you need to tinker with it to find what works best for you.

I received my Griffin this afternoon. It's now my favorite RTA.:D I'm running Clapton dual coils in it that came out to .29 ohms with an id of just under 3mm. Wow! Is all I can say. It's that good. My only problem is that I have 18mg juice in it. 18mg's was fine in my lemo and the way I vape, which is far from chain vaping. But 2 hits from this and I get a little light-headed. I did buy some 12mg juice after using my Bellus, but found that a little heavy. I'm going to order some 6mg juice from now on and finish out my 18mg & 12mg juice in my Lemos.

p.s. Also no issues with leaking like I had with the Bellus and the deck is a wonder to build on. The Griffin is highly recommended.

While the +2mo wait from China was excessive my new favorite Crius arrived this weekend. Top fill, juice and airflow control and two post dual coil deck!
(first refill was without a leak)

2x 2.5mm NiFe52/48 28awg wound on a screw (8x spaced coils), wicked with Silica rope stuffed into the juice channels. This was my first time with this style of deck and I enjoyed building on it.

I was using TFV4's before and I think after a week or so of vape-in I'll likely order more of these. I vape mostly unflavored so can't speak to how the flavor is.
