Got mine from that link, vapor town on eBay. $99, free shipping. Ordered Sunday night, got here Wed (CA to AR). Came with a letter and their phone number should I need help or have questions. I was impressed.

E-cigs are against the rules on both eBay and PayPal. If the listing is reported PayPal has been known to freeze the account of the seller and sometimes even the buyer for months.

Maybe ebay states its not legal but now it seems there is 100's if not 1000's of ecig products on ebay. Maybe they are relaxing their own rules?

I've seen nothing about eBay relaxing their prohibition against e-cigs. The people at eBay are too lazy to go looking for listings that are against the rules. However, if the listing gets reported it will be cancelled. eBay owns PayPal so that can cause issues there as well.

Possible reason for the vtr's rotating base!
I haven't got confirmation yet from innokin (emailed them and they haven't replied back yet), but I think they may have done that for some genesis style attys. it would make sense because you can orient the atty so the wick would be facing you for tilting when vaping. Maybe I'm reaching here but I couldn't think of anything else. The ring on top kind of limits the atty selection though.

Thoughts anyone?

I've bought several mods off ebay. I have never found any juice. I think mods are ok, juice is a no-no.

I may be crazy but I think this unit was built with a tank in mind, which is why it is compatible with Iclears and PT's. I dont think this unit is made for RBA's and such. If you absolutely want to put the extension in, you can but it's kind of silly looking. I think its pretty defined that RBA folks are mech mod folks. That just seems to be the way things are trending.

I beg to disagree. It is far from defined that RBA folks are mech mod folks. RBA's are Rebuildable Dripping Attys, Genesis Style and the other Styles of "tank rebuildable attys" (like GG styles & one or two more) and have been a growing in use and popularity for about as long as I've been a vapor. And, the category technically also includes any clearomizer/tank where people are rebuilding their own coils.

RBA's have huge popularity these days. So much so, that many don't even know of non-rebuildable attys except that clearo where they couldn't change the head.

Subohmers are the only style of vaping that pretty much required the use of a "Mech" and for the most part not a mechanical mod, but a all metal bottom button all mechanical device with a couple other features.

i see the subohmers trending away from mechs to DNA20 mods, Kick2 and some other regulated devices that are suitable and quite likely safer for that sport, thank goodness.

Back to the topic:

I just wish they'd made this out of aluminum!

I think we'll be seeing some interesting modifications and secondary market items like a shorter extension so other popular clearo's can be used. Also, a spongy type of donut that could fit in the upper ring and adjust to the various widths of the toppers, for looks and also helping hold them in place and stop the rattle potential.

This is from the prohibited section of eBay's Tobacco policy > Tobacco and tobacco-related items:

Just curious if you keep mentioning his because your wanting to report them? Just let it be. Atleast it's a good deal.

I was getting ready to ask the same question. Why would you care (easy assumption: since you've pointed it out numerous times) where your "fellow" vapers get a low price & speedy shipping? Isn't helping each other what our forum here is all about?

I think it might also have to do with the iClear 30S' bendable drip tip and getting it oriented. Who knows. Don't care. This thing vapes incredibly. And this new iClear 30S is absolutely awesome. So much flavor! So much vapor! I hate all other tankomizers in comparison.

Hate to interrupt the conversation with some more VTR trivia, but I just got my Kanger MT3S tanks to work with a 510/ego adapter. The little adapter is less wonky looking than the one that shipped with the VTR and keeps the MT3S inside the mod instead of on top of it.

Still looking for a practical "shim" or "donut" to help stabilize tanks that are a bit smallish diameter-wise in the VTR.

I have never reported any listing on eBay of any kind. eBay makes more than enough money to pay people to police their own site.

Not everyone is in a position to risk having their PayPal account frozen for months. People need to know that the risk is not hypothetical and it is something that has happened to both sellers and buyers of vaping gear on eBay. Hustling eBay listings without including the PayPal risk information is not something I would ever do.

Thanks much for the adapter info. I've got my fingers crossed that a 510 to eGo adapter will work with my Auroras.

My first VTR is on its way in Vape Mail so I can't check but would one of these or something similar work as a tank stabilizer?
