Quick note on the "PTB against the wick" thing:

I pulled mine apart a little while ago after putting about 4ml through it (2.6Ω at 3.7v). The PTB rope I made never got hot enough to come apart, but it did turn black, shrink up a bit and become somewhat brittle at the center. I never tasted anything odd, but just to be safe I'd recommend that while this stuff seems perfectly fine to use "near" the coil, I wouldn't put it up against it - even if kept wet. Aside from the off-chance it might be releasing chemicals you don't want to breathe, it doesn't stay supple enough long enough at those temps to be useful.

Side note: The bottle I've found most useful for the "br mod" is a 10ml one that's almost 1" across X 1 3/4" high (to the top of the threads). It not only has plenty of room, the neck fits the E2 nice and tight without having to modify anything. I got mine at Joye eGo | Joye 510 | Electronic Cigarette supplies | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more! but I'm sure other places carry them also.

I've been vaping two 3.7 mods all morning without the filler ring and only the middle ring down near cup, using well fitting drip tips. Best vaping experience from most cartos yet (as long as E2s are boiled first)

I just took the tips off and there is a pool of juice around the rim above the middle ring on one, filled cup and on the other the juiced goes all they way across. There has been no gurgling like one gets with flooded atty when dripping or otherwise and the vapor hasn't decreased. Flavor seems to be a little better. Juice is 50pg/50vg.

This could be an issue in some circumstance, like turning the PV upside down and leaving it that way for a length of time, especially if it is against something that might wick the juice out of the tip, although surface tension might just keep the juice from leaking out enough, depending the drip tip design and/or depending on viscosity of juice. I did have both of them lying down on their sides when I took a nap in the wee hours and picked each up without tapping or anything and got no juice in my mouth. Or if you slung it hard enough some could possibly fly out. I haven't tried that.

If one is worried transporting it the top ring and a condom could be put over the top and/or bottom if needed. With the great vaping results I'm getting leaking juice is, at this time, of little concern to me. There have been no wicking issues all morning. What a concept???

So yu'all this is Grannys, bottom atty, top feeding mod.:p That was easy.

Bummer 'br', I kinda thought that may happen w/ it being submerged in fluid.

One thing to remember. My Upside Down concept is not intended to be a Mod but a New Design.

BTW _ When I take a un-mod-ed E2 cart and vape it with the battery end pointed up at 45 degrees isn't that the same as an "Upside Down" carto design vaped with the battery pointed Down at 45 degrees?

I don't get a flooded atty when I vape with the battery up. Kinda a PITA and it looks funny but it Doesn't flood.

I don't know if it does for you, but my 1" diameter 10ml bottle gives me a better vape than my smaller ones. Cooler and heavier. I only use a regular length E2 in that one. For an XL, a 20ml bottle with the same diameter works best for me. But then, I don't seal the cup, so that makes a lot of difference.

br have you tried an XL in the 10ml bottle? That's what I'm using and it works great (I don't seal the cup anymore either).

I've got some 20ml bottles here but the necks are a smidge too big to prevent leaking.

Yes, I tried an XL in mine, but the mouthpiece was a bit too close for my liking. Our bottles may be a bit different. The neck size fits the fitting instead of the tube.

I just now started getting indications of a dry wick. It was just an airy draw but not burning. I tipped it a bit to get the little bit of juice around edge of middle ring and got another good draw. Popped the middle ring out and dripped the juice down the side. No Syringe Needed.

This will hold me over for a bit until you perfect those mods. You all keep up the great work and thank you, thank you.

ok this guy may be onto something he uses a very fine stainless steel mash, with Kanthal wire to draw the liquid to the atty. I think his designs may put the industry to shame, but this may be the e3 solution.

Looking now..wow, he's got some great looking mods, especially the 8ml wood cigar.

**Edit- This guy is deep! I'm now at the headset mod that fires when one raises their head..wow..we need to get him to China fast!
