Br, you said you torch your wicks. I'm not talking about dry burning. This is the whole stem out of the tube and torching all 5 or so inches of it. You said you didn't really notice a difference?

This is what I do. I have not made a before and after comparison with a new one, though.

I like Bad's idea. I guess the wick will be looped through the bridge on the atty? I think it would be a neat idea to extend the traditional atty on an air pole (as in the E2s) and have a wire mesh reservoir wrapped around the pole below the atty... but with some air intake into mesh area to help draw the juice up towards the atty.

Badkolo (or anyone with a transparent mod), what if you wrapped the wick ends into a knot or disk? you can either keep the white piece from your picture[badkolo] as a baffle or would it even work without the plastic seal if you just had lots of wick there to seal excess juice?

The good thing about a wick disk is that it doesn't matter how you hold the ecig, as long as it's horizontal, you can be sure the wick will be in contact with the juice.

How is the pyrex bat-carto doing?

I knew I should have slapped my hands away from the keyboard again. If I make one to please you it won't please Banjo.

If I can't clean and dry burn it it won't do me any good. Unless of course it's only 50 cents - in which case I can afford to throw away 2 a day.

your disc you mention can be a pressed peace of filler, then the wick can go though holes in the disk and the plate below the disc. your picture is basicly exactly what it should look like but its hard for me to build without the proper tools, i can try with a 306 atty but its diameter is to small for the syring mod.

the main issue would be the holes for the wick at the disc plate, they have to proper hole sizes and the wick has to fit just right inside it, to loose or to tight might cause a issue

if you can remove the e2 tube off the carto, then cut the stem real low so you can sit the cup on it to try this design

btw guys I got my first drip-tips today from MadVapes. I just threw one on an R4 and it does indeed make a difference over the stock mouthpiece. More vapor and flavor (looks cool, too...)

Been trying to tell you guys. A cool vape is a heavier vape. That's one of the reasons why I like a large open bottle without a seal on the cup.

they can make it like newer other cartos , there would be no wires needed like in the e2.

the wires would be hidden just like the new joye carto.

the wires in the e2 sit in the tank and they heat up with long drags, that concerns me becuase its heating the juice and i think thats where the flavor loss comes from.

The problem with doing a direct reverse E2 (upside down mod) is that the wires would have to run past the ceramic cup - and they might not be able to take the heat.

If I did one, the wires would run away from the cup. The two little holes in the filler ring would finally have a practical use.

they are still sifting the crap out to people and vendors, amazing.

they fix one thing and ignore another all while not realizing some wicks arent long enough, all while not realizing that the new sleeve might constrict juice flow.

AS OF TODAY I CAN'T defend these monkeys any further, I appreciate the little changes to improve the e2 that took 4 months, I still do whole heartedly believe that the e2 design itself can be made to work perfectly and there is proof of that BUT THESE monkeys obviously are not striving for that.

There is no excuse for not having someone check the e2 and have it checked for bad wicks, loose coils, oils or primers in the e2, fixing the filler plug and tons of other crap that they arent doing.
Saying there is quality checking versus actual quality checking are 2 different things. So many people including myself are still recieving mixed batches filled with inconsistancy all over the charts. It amazes me that they where able to fix the dented connectors, they where able to get to get them to fire on all devices, they where able to stop the leaks yet they still have wicks that are placed shoddy, wicks that arent long enough at all, coils that are still to tight, fluids and oils in them STILL and even the ones that have no fluid still have a fluid on the inner plugs somehow and the wick still needs to be dry burned since the cleaning or steaming of the wick obviously didnt do the job. They most likely wont even care as long as they work for them with super thin pg juice then its good enough. The problem with that is that even with their own pg juice some still suck.

Much has been improved yet for every step forward they have taken 2 steps back.

Sifting through 40 e2's to find 10 good ones just aint cutting it anymore and all the promises in the world mean nothing when you cant deliver. I have enough to keep me busy and mod and since i have so many i can always go through a few and find good ones but enough is enough when it comes to the e2, either FIX IT RIGHT OR DONT SELL IT. Your ruining your image, your products name and then your ruining vendors and buyers at the same time.

 You dont think they give a rats ... what you or anyone else thinks or says about these things do you??...Martinez would yank the hair from his mothers back to use it for wick if it would save him a penny. It didnt take me a month to figure that out. Our only hope is for a USA E1..no R's!! Until then just get some..tear them apart and rebuild it the correct way. These things are like Cracker Jacks...you never know whats inside of every box.
