dont get me wrong, the idea is brilliant, the way the airflow holes are there and the stem etc.. the issue seems to be that not enough juice is flowing to through the stem and wick or maybe the coil is rapped to tight, im going to enlargen the hole and test that, right now i have extra thin pg juice and im testing it.

scottb, yup, i got my e2 mods and e2 ptb right here and the difference is night and day. the e2 works better overall with more ranges of my juices, with the e2 the thinner the juice the better but my octane juices work just fine in the ptb e2 or br bottle and syringe mods

these things arent as servicable as you think as far as removing the stem, when you remove it your also pulling it off the wick that goes into the stem. so reinserting that wick into that small hole is hard.

I’m staying away… way too easy to use a regular length R4 or mod an XL or make a syringe/bottle mod…

Thanks, bad… have fun…

I agree.

The E2 out of the box has a problem of not too much room around the cup, and it looks like they made that problem even worse by using too small of a wick tube. That and the price. I mean it's good to see people trying to build better cartos, but at this point in time it still looks like Martinez could build a 100x better carto for $12. If only there was just a way to get him to try the Br-Bad syringe/bottle-ptb-mod.

Been reading this thread for a while now and I have to thank you all. Your hard work and effort has allowed me to ex out tobacco completely now thanks to the modded E2s. I'm using a tube modded E2 with PTB and it's been amazizing. So I'll throw in my 2 pennies on the wicking of this tankomizer. It seems to me it's going to suffer from what I suspect is the same problem that the E2s suffer from when using the filler ring and middle ring. How does air get into the tank to displace the liquid that get's drawn out? If that thing is as sealed as it looks like it would be when assembled then the wick isn't going to be able to draw out very much before the vacuum created in the chamber becomes stronger than the wicking action. Bad, could you try a simple test of punching a small hole at the top of tank to allow air to enter the opposite end. I'm thinking like a needle hole maybe. Big enough to allow air to enter and displace the drawn out liquid but small enough that the surface tension of the liquid would keep it from leaking.

Well I am kinda new on this thread. But I'm glad I found it. I am using the E2 xl with the PTB and I have to say its the best, no flooding at all vapor and taste are great. I can put almost 2ml of juice in this thing. I think I may sell my mini and grand when I get them. They just flood way to much in my opinion.
I'm luvin the E2 on my brand new shiny chuck. Whoa!

And if we can find a way of cleaning the atty you don't have to waste juice if things gunk up and start to burn, etc.

If you can find a good and easy quick way to clean an atty that is hard to see, then the E2 would have it made.

It's more like a wick waste, which easily means a carto waste until you can replace a modular cup or coil-wick on the e2. Just plug in a new 40¢ cup n coil (or coil-wick like a mini- auto fuse)

Imagine something like this made of ceramic. If microcig can make the 80¢ regular E2, they can probably make these for less than 80¢

The E2's problem is that the wick gunks up, and I can damgae the wick even with running water. At least with the E2, I can see the current condition of the coil, and the wick at and near the coil, and mod it.

I've been torching the wicks until the entire wick is bright white. With a small torch you can get in the area between the slits. I've even been lifting the wick above the cup, torching, and pushing back down. It's eliminated the black deposits that build up near the slits. Even the most raggedy looking wicks still deliver a ton of vapor. I think whatever is either on the wick or the coil is getting inside the fibers of the wick and slowing the wicking action and causing the wicks to break prematurely. Dry burning can't eliminate it, but a torch does.

Well if this thing is really small, I don't think I'm able to get it just yet, the E2 bottle or syringe mod (the transparent mod) is so affordable. Now that you mention how small it is, I think we almost found out that the slightly bigger bottle might be a better vapor machine. The e2 mod we have to hold it like a glass of wine, but with this new one does it help if you look at the sky every time you vape?

The bottles and tubes can easily be modded to vape in any position. Though for extended periods of time on it's side, the level needs to be below center of the cup when horizontal. But even that can be fixed for a happy medium between vapor production and portability/neglect.

Goin' Mobile... eeh ooh, beep beep!
Let’s see… just from looking at bad’s pics; The tankomizer has too many coil windings, too close together, not dry-burnable in a practical fashion, & small (too small) juice reservoir. Add to this what bad is finding with his experiments: Typical QC with almost DOA’s & incomplete machining. Typical engineering favoring very thin juices. Looks like a rush to market with a barely-tested great-theory concept, manufactured by the same people that we buy from now…

Bad, when are you gonna sell your pre-fabbed PTB replacement wicks. I want’ em… and with this experimentation, looks like you could use some $... lol…

the e2 is just so moddeable and robust, they dont pop easily and can take a beating and they are serviceable. they need to be modded to get them perfect but at 2 bucks total its worth it.

so far im having bad luck with these tankomizers but i used the ry4 from dekang which is very runny which seems to work ok but still not up to snuff at all

dude im down 500 bucks on this littel expirement with the tankomizer, i made 200 prerolled ptb's, it look like ill be concentrating back on that. while these tankomizer can be modded its a pain, plus we arent in contact with the factory so theres no way of harrasing them like i did with martinez to improve it, they already told this guy they wont fix the connector so that says alot.

I like the guy who is selling these, hes honest and stand up, hes not a modder or a super vapor like us and told me what i needed to know so im not blaming him in anyway, he didnt design these so its not his fault. Im sure with modding i can get it to work but i dont think its super feasable or easy, the e2 is much easier to deal with all around and the performance is top notch with the modded e2 period.

These are a couple of CE2R4 Syringe + PTB mods that I whipped up this morning. I have TV's Blue Bulls in the one on the eGo and it is wicking really well. I'm going to follow Storminthe's suggestion to mod a cone to fit to make it a bit more streamlined and so I can use the button protector.

nice man keep up the good work and also try the bottle mod, they work great.

with the tankomizer if you pop the top off and replace it then these start to wick, if i keep doing this it wicks, but thats not feasable to do every drag, which tells me juice isnt flowing trhough the wick and stem properly, now maybe a bigger hole will work but then if its to big it could flood maybe.

ok guys im sorry, sorry to rod as well but these things just aint gonna cut it, i lost many, i tried many, thin juice, thick juice it doesnt matter, they work for a minute while the wick is initialy wet but then the wicking goes to hell in a hand basket.

So for now I wont be reviewing these since they arent functional. Back tot he e2. this was a pricey mistake on my part but thats the entrance fee to play this game.
