Well I have finally made it to the R4s. I wanted to use up the R3s I had before getting more. So Far I think they are performing much much better! Is there no top ring now? They wick much better but seem to flood easily. Really leaking is my only gripe so far. I haven't ptb'ed yet though. Is that the solution? If they continue to wick like this I'm a happy vaper.

if its wicking well then instead of doing a full ptb you can do 2 things, use a tiny square of the afl fille rthe provide or a tiny little square of tpb, maybe a 3 fold but really tiny just to fit behind the slits to prevent juice from overflowing into the slits.

Ok I'll take a little piece of the stuff that came in the box and tuck it right in the slits. I think its wicking just fine and it's a 2.5 too. The 3 ohm just seem a little too weak for me at 3.7. Really close but just not quite there.

I bought me one of those single-use disposables, and finally found the hard to find wick tube, but this one is soft, not hard, and it didn't even char. The coil was wrapped around an even thinner wick section, and it looks like good quality wick that does not fall apart, it is black where the coil was wrapped around it, but doesn't fall apart and doesn't break. It might even wash off, I just haven't tried to yet.

If the wick they use on the E2 is terrible, then what are the alternatives when it comes to wicks (other that metal cloth)?

Finally got my syringe thingies!! Built 2 of these beasties!! At first I couldn't see a difference between this and the standard carto but MAN!! This thing never goes dry, (uh... till it REALLY goes dry.)Vaped it empty twice just watchin TV. NOW I know why the stock E2's get that dry burn. S'funny when you can SEE the juice goin down.
Did the PTB wick thing on it also , (see pics). Works great.
pic on end is the PTB.Just open a tea bag and cut in half lenghtwise, Fold it up.I use hemostats to hold it and twist it up,(second pic)Wedge it in the slots and tuck the bottom in the remaining piece of the cart. ( Kinda wound it around the original wick to contain it)
First pic is the beast its self.

I was telling bad yesterday that I went to Ace Hardware yesterday looking for some stuff for the CE2 and I had my syringe mod out comparing the width to a hole punch (I want to punch out the filler ring a bit). His eyes got big and started askign a million questions. He called his buddy over and they freaked out even with it lookign so fugly. They wanted me to vape for them right in the store.

I told them this wasn't way a 'normal' ecig looked like. They both have friends they have been tryign to help with their smoking habit. I gave them cignot's web address because she offers good info and stuff and great prices for noobs (I was thinking a good Joye 510 kit at 35 bucks would be a good start instead of the Green Smoke 115 kit I bought not knowing any better when I first started)...

This is such a nice story! Thanks for sharing. Made my day, really!

BTW, any updates on the special eGo that works with the tankomizer? Or did I miss that post?

I am using the xl 2.5ohm e2's at 3.7v in my chuck, wow its getting to be just to hot of a vape for me, making me cough.
What device can I get that I can vape at a a lower voltage, like around 2.8 to 3v.

Most 510 batteries are 3.1v (eGo/Riva/Tornado). But I still prefer 3.0Ω E2s on them. These cartos run hot.

Hi Katya...I don't know if you ordeered any of the tankomizers but I spoke with Rod on Skype and he mentioned he was going to send along that eGo to anyone who ordered his tankomizers. That's the way I understood it (???)...

I am not sure if he was emailing the people who had the tankos on order to tell them that but he told me he'd send me out one within three weeks or so or whevnever he gets them in from China...he was to order them over the weekend...

Glad you liked my lil story - hehe
