Yeah, I'm even tired of hearing myself talk about it. I'll schedule it today. Like it's so hard to call an imaging place and pick a day.... :) Scolding noted (and helpful, actually).

Anna
Well........ Is it scheduled?

Yep. Not only that, if I don't feel better from my stupido kidney infection, I am all set to speed dial my doc's office tomorrow and go pee in a cup (probably with my most annoying, merely because he is super deaf) PCP, who always has openings. He's a nice dude, he vapes, and a former vet, but even he can surely manage to get the office assistant to run whatever test it is they run. If I can CLEARLY and SUCCINCTLY describe my symptoms to him (I am rehearsing, since I figure he's the guy I'm going to see).

Also, MUCH EDITING HAPPENED. LOL, people on here need to scold me more often. Especially on the shinyitis thread...

Warning: They won't. They're busy talking about 700 dollar mods and squonks and etc.

Sitting down, facing forward.
vaping may not be entirely "safe", but what the heck is? I know I feel one heck of a lot better than I did almost five years ago and, at my age, that's a pretty good thing. Vaping has got to be one heck of a lot safer than smoking. All of our examples and experiences are anecdotal, granted, but the sheer number of anecdotes does add up after a while.

Yesterday I got some propane tanks filled. The guy filling them, who looked older than me, and I were grousing about our new Governor, Comrade Murphy, and he said in spite of that he would stay here in NJ rather than retire to Florida or somewhere else. I grabbed two full tanks and walked them back to the Jeep and went back while he was filling the third one. Turns out he's 65 and I told him I'll be 69 in a few weeks. He insisted on carrying that third tank and struggled doing it in spite of me protesting that I'd carry it. Guess being active/physical does pay off or maybe it's just genetics.

Hehehe, but arent most of these guys dead now?

Clint Eastwood is the only one still alive out of that crowd.

However I do feel probably the most famous cigar smoker of all time was left out. This gentleman was never seen without a cigar and lived to the ripe old age of 100 years old. He even had his cigar with him when he appeared on "The Muppet Show". I wonder how many people remember him.

"shinyitis" is a clinical disease. I know got infected with it when I first discovered gen 2 vape gear. At last, something that actually worked! It was like the gates of heaven opened up and a chorus of "hallelujah" emanated from the sky.

I went through about 2 years of "shinyitis" until I finally landed on some gear that totally satisfies me on all levels. For the last 2 years I have "not" been chasing a better vape, and I dont care if I ever find anything else, I am happy with where I am. At that point the symptoms of "shinyitis" started to fade. Heck I have given away $500 stab wood mods, just to make sure they got utilized as I wasnt using them anymore.

If only we were all that resilient.......
Even at his age he still had hotties hanging off his arm too!

It's good to know that I can go into remission someday, LOL. I am mostly there, and if the husband hadn't upset my applecart with his decision to vape, well, LOL. I am really happy with my vapes and also coming to the understanding that, oh, I don't have to buy every single MTL atomizer in existence, they seem somewhat similar to me.... I bought the zenith and while I quite like it, I am sorry in the sense that it didn't really get me anywhere "new."

So, perhaps I will relax a bit, it is certain that my rate of purchasing has slowed.... etc.... as I realize these things. My problem is I want things that are super sturdy, and that usually means "expense," but really, I'm perfectly happy where I'm at. The most I've paid for a piece of vape equipment was like, $200-ish, but it's those little things that add up. I have also been lucky in contests.

So, I am going to emulate that idea and keep going. I just enjoy the shinyitis thread for fun, for the most part. I know I won't ever buy anything super expensive but it is fun to drool. It also wasn't my idea of what that thread would be like, but then what is on ECF????

(Also a good thing....)

The biggest and most common mistake is buying product after product searching for that perfect vape,
instead of learning how to get that perfect vape from the products you already have.?

We land where we land, but actually "landing" is good place to be.

My current vapes tend to be rather industrial for the very reason you mentioned, I want something sturdy. A Merlin tank, or an Aromamizer, and a DNA inside a billet aluminum enclosure did the trick for me.

Booo, Hissss....err....I mean congrats. I don't think I have ever won any sort of random drawing. If a drawing had 10 prizes and 11 entries, I'd be the guy that didn't get one. Unless one of the other guys was Rodney Dangerfield, then I'd have a shot.

Nope, not women. Paid companions. Don't get me wrong, I had plenty of opportunity to do that in my youth (my dad's friends mainly, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww).

I married once for idiocy, once for love, and if I get married again it might be for money. Of course, that day may have long passed even if I could bring myself to do it. I don't care how many cigars you possess, or even what's in your mutual fund, but then again, self-respect takes time to develop. :) So some of the younger things might be okay with it, but I was more like horrified and on my way to college, and etc. They don't look happy usually, although they might look FANTASTIC, sorta, if I were appraising them like a dude.

I think it's fortunate I didn't marry for money, I almost did accidentally once, (the guy hid his wealth) and I'm fairly certain that after my second psychotic episode I would have been living the rest of my life out on some privately funded "mental health" ranch somewhere. The thought does not appeal..... Also, the idea of frantically applying plastic surgery and discovering other kept women around is also oh-so-not-appealing.

Just to inject some, you know, reality into the situation. Oh, I wouldn't mind a paid vape patron, but that's kinda what my husband does at the moment since I'm not working. LOL.

Women like older men who can afford big cigars.

Every time a see some twenty-something hottie with an ancient shriveled up mummy of a guy, I have always said that he must have a really big................................................................................bank account.

Or maybe it was just his stimulus package:

OOOOH, my PEG 400 got here just now and my initial "quick and dirty" test of it at 50/50 is going fine! I am at half my nic strength (but I use nic salts anyway) and it tastes dreadful (obviously, I am going to have to rework all my flavors now) but I am so excited about the ridiculously non-cloudy clouds I am making :)

This thread is the best (just generally) but for volume of information, most definitely! Thanks you guys! I am pretty happy and just going to go slowly and make sure I don't develop some issue, but so far, so good. :)

I'm quite a lot unaware of the quality of PG / VG.
Is this PEG 400 the type that we/I should go for ?

It is an alternative to using PG. Some folks who have issues with PG will use it.
