Some folks can never be content without something, anything to fret about.
Not to be a party pooper, but cooking on a SS pan, and enjoying the aroma of Linguini with a white clam sauce, could easily be different than inhaling vapors straight from a coil into our lungs. In many things it is "the dose" that is the hazard. Fumes from a frying pan mixed with many liters of air might well have a much weaker dose than the concentrated stream off an atty. Is it PPM vs PPB?
I dont know this to be the case, but it would not surprise me. I think it warrants genuine laboratory study.
I still vape with titanium and stainless and nickel, depending on the mod and the atomizer. I'm old enough to have smoked cigarettes for 50 years before I found vaping. My health has improved overall, don't keep the wife awake with my snoring anymore, and my doctor has noted a marked improvement in my lungs. I'm sure there are hazards in vaping, but there are hazards just getting out of bed in the morning, or just staying in bed for that matter. If temperatures are controlled to prevent the levels that produce aldehydes, ~450F, they will certainly be far below the levels that produce harmful effects from vaporizing o over oxidizing the metal of the coil.
Sometimes I wonder about that pot comparison. Ever watch someone who really enjoys cooking and what they're cooking hover over the pot, head almost in it, breathing deeply and repeatedly as they're cooking? Lots of nicotine from the plants in that pot plus the fumes of the oils and heated metal. Might not be as high in concentration as an e-cig, but over a lifetime......
Incidentally, defining what a cigarette really is is a little problematic as well. So many chemicals are used when growing the tobacco, and even more added during the manufacturing, that saying a cigarette is dried tobacco in a paper tube is not very accurate at all. I personally feel that once BT figured out how to "augment" the effects of nicotine cigarettes became significantly more of a health hazard simply from all those chemicals. Is there a label on a pack that lists those ingredients? Don't hold your breath waiting for that one, either.
Logically thinking, there's no chance that smoking dangerous.OK, what I wanted was just a simple answer to simple question. Will vaping with Titanium wire (or with any other wire for that matter) kill me faster than smoking 1 and a half of pack a cigarettes a day? And now we are guessing if it is safer to inhale fumes from cooking pans or from coils and what is different how... And now I want to burn a ... and smoke it.

My homemade avocado verde is probably really good at purging then.....
Look, there's insufficient data on jumping off a high building being more dangerous than sitting still for eight full hours, but there's no doubt that the former is far more dangerous. We know smoking cigarettes is incredibly dangerous, and we know why. There's simply no way normal vaping can be anywhere near that risk level. We don't heat up our coils hot enough where they'll release anything dangerous to levels that could even approach what we get from cigarettes. Don't give in to fear, use logic. That's what I hate about vaping - insufficient data. We as vapers are claiming that vaping is 95% less harmful than smoking but on the other hand we can't answer to a simple question - will vaping with titanium wire kill me faster than smoking tobacco cigarettes? So, we are just taking chances and believe what we want to believe. I know I will get a warning for an "inappropriate content" and "alarming posts" but that is just how I see it. I am an ex-smoker and I still have a mindset of a smoker and there are still times when I want to switch back to smoking. Because of this uncertainty. I am extremely volatile on that matter. My logic tells me that coil is of too small size to cause a major harm but then somebody other says that coil in atty can be quite harmful despite its size because concentration of metal fumes is high... And I as an ex-smoker who wants to live healthier life am confused... And "what if" is there again...

Not sure if they still do or not, but mtbakervapor.com used to make juice to order, any %, any nic level and had great prices.
I know a bunch, Gerry.
MyFreedomSmokes & The Vapor Room are two of my oft-frequents. Both allow you to select...
There are quite a few juice vendors who produce 50/50. Ahlusion, Heather's Heavenly, Naturally Extracted Tobacco, Real Extracts, The Studio Brand...

Actual temperatures inside a Smoktech TFV8 Big Baby BeastI was just over on a thread where someone posted that he really liked the vape he got from a TFV12 (or some such apparatus I am not familiar with) and a (4) battery mod that he set to 200 Watts for his vaping enjoyment, and just found a way to vape at only 100 watts and was proudly reporting his new find. I cannot imagine enjoying a vape on something like. Please explain to me how something like that is even possible to vape on. I would pay money to see that setup hooked up on some test equipment for analysis.
When they went OOB a year ago...I started being "pushed into" 30PG/70VG and 20PG/80VG by the "On Sale" sites...
I've got a fave (Naked Lava Flow) that comes mainly in 3 or 6MG, 70VG/30PG. With a fairly simple Excel calculator's help, I basically cut it in half to create 14MG@65PG/35VG.
started mixing up 80 PG/ 20 VG and have been using that ever since. It seems to work for me better than the reverse does, with my chest feeling that is,
Since way back when I first started I was always told the rule of thumb was use pg to carry the flavor (hence why 100% VG has so much more flavoring), and use VG to make clouds.I WISH I could use more PG especially inside. 10% DW doesn't do much for clouds, I wonder if it's possible to use more. It drives the husband nuts, and while it's easy to shut off the heat and open doors in the winter during the day, but it certainly isn't going to be in the summer months.
I may have to institute a vape outside policy, then. I really actually don't like it myself, and the husband, who uses 50/50 gets such nice small CLOUDS.... Only I took a hit off his vape and it was like inhaling a bale full of needles. Sigh. Maybe I can try slowly and gradually adding in 1% and see what I can tolerate. Suggestions welcomed
