Hi, all
I want to say "hi" and "thanks!" I'm a 2nd-generation Phoenix native, and work with computers.
I've been vaping for a few months and stopped analogs last week after I got good gear. My wife's been off analogs for two months. We started with NeverLightAgain (NLA) ecigs from a smoke shop. They were ok and stealthy, but my wife would kill one off within a few days. Keeping her in pre-filled carts and new batteries was costing more than analogs.
At Defcon in Vegas this year I ran into a VIP member when I was outside smoking. He had something eGo-sized, with a MAP tank. It looked cool, made luxurious amounts of vapor, and I had hardware envy. The final nudge was when my employer became smugly "smoke and tobacco-free" on July 1. I remembered the guy talking about VIP (I'm miserable with names. Thanks, young Helpful Guy!) did a lot of Google homework, then got the 1344 eGo-T(Tank) Starter Kit.
Wife-dear wore out one of the atomizers about 8 days later, and I started researching accessories for the eGo-T. She killed off a 284 Smoktech EGO MEGA Dual Coil Cartomizer in about 4 days. I still have one, but I'm not crazy about it since I like to change flavors occasionally. My current cart is the Vision CC eGo Clearomizer (CE5), my favorite so far.
I still have a couple of the 1370 Joye eGo-T(Tank) LR Atomizers. I like being able to swap in a tank with a different flavor juice. Speaking of which, my current favorite juice is Boge Cigar. I think it tastes like Starbucks toffee-nut syrup. After work today I hope to visit the Zikwid Lounge and pick up a couple new flavors to try. Considering a mix, maybe mint and clove.
Thanks again for all the info; it was a joy to finally learn that a "drip tip" doesn't require antibiotics.
surreal
