I'm sure you've done a lot of work there Joey, but there are some way better minis than the ones you've rated - for use, form, and price. I wouldn't rate Greensmoke at no.5. It's way overpriced and the threading is E9 - they hook people into buying their overpriced cartos because no-one sells E9, and don't sell refill juice. Big thumbs down. I used to use them until I found something better.

How about reviews of Smokeless Image Volts, Halo, and Bloog. All quite good minis. All better than Greensmoke or Blu.

Hi everyone,

I can't thank you all enough for the advice. I have a nice folder with the info printed so I can always refer back to it. As of now, I'll holding off on buying a kit. Someone was awesome enough to send me a kit that includes a KGO and a twist, and everything else I need to get started vaping. I'm now on the hunt for some sample juice. Thank you again. I'll let you know how the vaping goes for me. Can't wait to try it, the analogs are killing my lungs, and I'm burning through my asthma pumps.

Wow, that IS really a nice thing someone did for you!! Glad you got a couple of PVs to use. Best of luck to you. You might want to cruise the General E-Liquids subforum here and get some ideas of juice that sounds good to you. Happy vaping!!

The Riva is a knockoff of the Kgo. If wanting a non knockoff Kgo buy a SLB Kgo. In regards to comparing Kgo versus eGo:
Most eGos are regulated at 3.4 volts. kGos/ Rivas provide 3.7 volts. Some kGos/ Rivas provide 4.2 Volts straight off the charger, only declining to 3.7V after some hours of use.

Spent the day going to China and back for my own knowlege. then followed a link back to this forum. So let me paraphrase someone with over 4000 posts that i think might be true to great extent. " there are now many companies in china making these pv's. it just so happens that SLB named its ego knockoff the kgo, some other co. named theirs tgo. other companies knocked off the kgo and didnt change the name.China is a big mess of one company knocking off another company that knocked off another company. Tear apart a Riva and you'll find a Joyetech battery and circuit board. "
Therefore, dont let anything I said slow you down in getting something.

I have been scrolling through that section. The flavors are mind boggling, but its a lot easier than just picking at random. I really have no idea if I will like sweet flavors, fruit flavors or coffee flavors at all. So its great to make a list of some top choices that were mentioned in ECF.

You know, I've seen a lot of members mention that they moved up to different kits after they started vaping. However, I never thought about the factor that many of them would have a couple kits they no longer use. So, I'm very grateful that i'll be able to try before I buy.

But also realize many that are quite happy with their original setup and never need to upgrade unless it's in regards to the delivery system. Both the Twist and Kgo are 510 connections BUT when buying cartos, Clearos low resistance works best on the Kgo while standard resistance are best for the Twist. Low res can be used on the Twist but it shouln't be dialed higher than 4.2 volts. A suggestion re: juice- buy sampler packs before you commit to a larger bottle. Here's the ECF bargain bin

Double thanks, now if i can only keep track of my SR and LR stuff. I just happened to buy Joyetech based on my best judgment at the time-have had no problems in 56 days- but to get set-up to my liking, sadly, I could have bought 2 Provari's if I only known. Wife says I have to wait till some of this stuff blows up. How long will that take?

You're welcome. Batts are generally good for about 300 charges. Cartos last a lot longer in tanks. If using the Twist at a higher voltage batts will not last as long. As long as it's kept you off the analogs that's all that counts.
Cheers.

Hi, thanks for the response, yes I backed off of hitting the checkout button for the E-Power. I'm still undecided and I'm looking at the SLB KGO Starter Kit over at Dark City Vapor. It looks like the kit does not include the e-juice so I'll have to get my first e-juice separately. Can anyone tell me what the 80PG/20VG thing is and which I should get? I'll hold off and spend the weekend doing some more reading on ECF. So much great info to sort through.

Hello Bworms1980.

I think you outta just get a Kgo kit and a couple boxes of Boge cartomizers along with a nice sample pack of juice.

Here's why I think that-

You can talk to 100 experienced vapors who have 100% quit cigarettes using their PV's and you will get 100 different answers as to what delivery system is best and what is and who has the best tasting E- juice.

All you are doing right now is stalling around. If you REALLY want to quit you can do it using a couple NICE long lasting, powerful batteries like 1100 Mah Kgo batteries along with some good quality cartomizers from Boge.

Get your kit, charge up the batteries, fill up a couple cartomizers and say good bye to smoking once and for all. Chances are high a year from now you will be using something else BUT you will also agree you started with some good batteries and sound footing with SLB 1100 mah batteries along with some low resistance Boge cartomizers .

Jump off the fence you seem to be stuck on and get into the game. You won't be sorry and you will be well on your way to living a much healthier life.

Hi Everyone.

I have tried the ecigs and I love vaping. I went 2 days straight without a cigarette. Never thought about them at all. Then I noticed that I had half a cigarette in the ash tray. Decided to finish it before it dried out. After two days of not smoking it was terrible. It was still sitting in the ash tray days later, until I tossed it in the trash.

I've been told that it will be cheaper for me than others because I'm not a picky eater and that has translated well to my vaping. I have not found a juice yet that I dislike. I'm fine with all of them. I can even vape for an hour or two without menthol added and I really didn't think I would be able to vape any flavor without menthol. I can't go all day without my menthol though.

I'm still confused on the cartos and attys and not sure what the difference are between them. However, I want to get a couple of tanks when I can afford it because I prefer those. I can't see myself voluntarily going back to cigarettes over vaping.

I do wish I had ordered more menthol. I took the suggestions and ordered sample sizes from many different places, but completely forgot to get a few menthol so I had very little and now I'm out because I forgot to factor in my clumsiness.

Completely out of menthol :( , almost out of juice entirely and I have to wait until I get paid in the next two weeks to order some more. Because I Mrs. Clumsy quite literally spilled a bunch of it.

I mentioned before that I have a bad memory and that worked with my clumsiness in a bad way.

Didn't see bottles of plastic bottles of juice and sat on them, squeezed most of the juices out.

Prefer the tank but keep forgetting to be careful. Tried to unscrew it from battery and instead opened the bottom, all the juice was in my lap. That has happened 3 times as I keep forgetting.

Was walking my two dogs (dachshund and a mini poodle). Walked with a bottle of juice to refill my ecig. Tripped on the fat hot dog and I went flying on the sidewalk and the juice went flying somewhere. Never found it.

Since I'm not a picky vaper, I'm going to get a 30ml of menthol as soon as I can. However, I can't believe I'm out of it for a couple weeks. I'll have to make do with the regular flavors I still have left and pray I don't run out of juice altogether. As I've asked myself for 32 years, why do I have to be so clumsy?

... so my two cents worth is to go for the EGO kit, 900-1000 Mah. I'd suggest, from my own personal viewpoint, not to get the EGO Twist just yet, as they're a little more complicated. ...

I've read this before and am wondering about getting a variable volt model. I'm currently using a Volt kit along with the Volt X2 battery. I'd like to get a VVPV but as a newbie I'm concerned I'd have more issues than enjoyment.

Comments or advice? Thank you to all the helpful ECF members & staff! ;)

Wow Bworms - but look how far you've come in just a little time. Way to go girl! and look after yourself, no adult can afford a tumble - we don't seem to have bendy arm bones and rubber band legs like kids do. :)

BWorms, sounds like you're doing great with your vaping . . . . except on spilling and losing the juice.

Some vendors sell menthol drops that you can put into any juice to add menthol to your taste. I know AltCig does, and I'm not sure who else. You might think about getting a bottle of that so you can always be able to add some menthol if you run out of menthol juices in the future.

I'm really glad to hear that it's going well for you, and that you are finding it easy to like all the different juices. Keep on vaping!!
