So I've been working this thing out for the last month and this is what I've found to be true for me. I love this thing. When I first saw Drew with this I thought this was going to be the best atomizer product for me, not only because of the the looks but I love to build mods and take .... apart and break it and for the most part figure it out and fix it up. By the time it arrived in the mail I was already well versed in the basics of how to build it and got straight down to trying to wire one of the included 2ohm wires into a 1.5 or so. Anyone out there who has done any of this should know that a precut 2ohm wire is pretty much going to be ohm's. ohm's is actually my usual sweet spot at 3.7 anyway so I carried on. The learning curve is pretty low for experienced vapers IMO. That being said it did take me a little bit of tweaking to get it to run like I wanted. IMO when it came stock it had a super tight draw resulting in a ...-ton on TH and little or no vapor. I of course turned to the good people of the ECF for some help. Read a thread about expanding hole size for better airflow. Not wanting to jack up my brand new Atomiser i expanded only one hole to 1/16". Boom! This almost instantly fixed the flow and all buyers remorse went out the window as I was getting massive amounts of flavor,TH and vapor. It still took me some more tweaking to get it just right. Looked at the Buli A2 and decided to debraid my wicking down to a single strand. The other air hole I have blocked since I used a 1/16" bit to expand. It now wicks better and out performs any carto or atty that I have. My Atomiser blows away my Joye 1.5's and LR Ciscos. After making these adjustments, it's all I've ever wanted in an atty. It's like dripping into a debridged LR atty. I have experienced no problems with it leaking despite the fact that i drilled a big ... hole in one side and can drip more into it than a regular atty. For the money IMO you can't beat what Drew has got here. If you enjoy the whole DIY factor of vaping, I highly recommend that you get one of these. You will need to experiment with it just a little to get it how you want it, but when you do I believe you will be most happy. I am currently using a 3.7V with a standard res Atomiser around 2.6 or so and this thing just bombs out vapor! Only regret is that I did not get the second Atomiser for around $30 or so more. IMO Drew has a stellar product here and with a little experimentation you can build and rebuild a great atty over and over again. Sorry for being long winded. Love all of you guys out there.

Wow I wish I knew how to do all that! I didn't understand half of what your talking about, but I buy the LR510 and LR 901 from drew also, and the draw on the 901 is great, but the 501 is pretty tight draw, and like you said, sometimes kills my throat. So I can just drill a little hole in the side like the 901 has? How do I know where to drill or does it matter? And what size bit would I use? And it makes a big difference in vapor? I like lots of vapor... I have tried to remove the wicks before with tweezers cause I'm a dripper and don't really need them, plus they end up burnt eventually and dirty anyway, but I can never seem to get out the whole wick, any suggestions? You seem to be very wise in the ways of the all mighty atty,
Cheers, Leila

What's the difference between the LR510 atomizer, and the AtoMiser, or are they the same thing? Sorry for all the questions...,
Cheers, leila

The NHaler Ato-Miser is a rebuildable atomizer. Drew offers a single Ato-Miser kit for $65 The Ato-Miser. The kit includes everything you will need to build your own atomizer to your own specs and if it pops or you get tired of it you can rebuild it. I believe the current kit includes 2, 3 and 4 ohm nichrome wire and a slew of silica wick. Madvapes sells 27ohms/ft Nichrome wire also for a couple of dollars, and Jacobs online also has it in different gauges. The difference in the ato-miser and a standard or LR 510 besides appearance, is again it's rebuildable. If you are not into tinkering it may not be your cup of tea. For me the idea of building it myself and savings due to it being rebuildable were the main selling point to me. Like any product out there YMMV. What I have described has worked for me. I used to buy attys in bulk and swear by them. But as you know, they could last months or a week. You will save money with this product and if you like to drip its to me like dripping a debridged atty. The Ato-Miser draws it's air through it's two air holes on the mouthpiece itself, so by expanding those a little you can get a greatly improved airflow IMO. 510's draw from the holes in the threaded connector area. I would not recommend drilling the casing on a regular atomizer to fix a stiff draw. I do suppose now that you have mentioned it I will wonder about it and break down and try it just cause I have a stockpile and can waste one. But I believe it would be bad for it. Good luck to you let me know if you try it out.

I learned to dewick and debridge attys from phee on you tube. YouTube - ‪How to remove your Wick (Mod)‬‏
It's not difficult at all to do if you go slow in the beginning. After doing it a few times you should be able to do it in less than a few minutes. As phee will point out if you debridge you obviously wont be able to use a cart (due to the bridge being gone) but you're dripping anyway so who cares about the cart anyway. I had to cut down my drops from 3-4 to one or two drops to cut back on the leaking. Its a YMMV for sure. I highly recommend it for people who drip. Before I forget you might want to up the VG content in your juice to help bulk up your vapor production. Some people are against it but I like a lot of VG. Good luck.
