One question - it is possible use only upgrade kit for construction of separate repairable atomizer?
I see on photo of upgrade kit:cover, central pins, little base, central cover for ceramic ( but on photo is not ceramic - is inside?? )
I am waiting for a new series of Odysseus, so this could be at least a small toy to reduce waiting

@Imeo: I've borrowed some 1,5mm wick and double stranded it - still leaking.
Next I took one string of the 2,0mm wick (double for the coil - handshake binding) and put the extra O-Ring between the Nut and the base and it did the trick - no more leaking.
Others in the German forum experienced the same - double wick alone didn't work.
Another one also added another O-Ring at the base of the mouthpiece plus the extra O-Ring (Nut-Base) and has nor more leaking problems either.
Rightnow I'm running the Ody with 0,20 Kanthal at 4,2 Ohm with 2x18350 batteries - vapour, flash and taste are just great.

I'm loving the fact that the mouth piece doesn't get as hot and the lack of refilling.
This must be due to the longer mouth piece or the amount of liquid surrounding it.

i'm currently enjoying running a dual coil 510 atty in the big ody. need to get some e2 now to try that mode out.
510 dc in there working flawlessly and great to have as a back up for when your tired of building coils or when one lets you down, not that thats ever happened lol.

with all the talk of leaking i am assuming that you did not experience this imeo. Could it be user error? I havnt followed to closely so maybe someone who has can fill me in 
+1 to that.
Dunno whether I'm imagining it but it seems to hit harder using the proper base instead of a couple of connectors to join it to the GGTS.
there will be a noticible difference stalker with less connections.
Edit: but going back to the earlier pic posted of the added o-ring at the knurled nut. i've been using soft silver for NR, which pretty much gets crushed when you tighten as hard as you can. so a cleaner seal
i've followed the vids and had no issues yet. think a lot of it is down to user error. i've found the most valid parts of the video's is to listen for when Imeo says "as ARD as you can"with all the talk of leaking i am assuming that you did not experience this imeo. Could it be user error? I havnt followed to closely so maybe someone who has can fill me in

I`m sad to report another coil dying (got that rancid burnt taste but it didnt popped) so I wipped out the hardware and did a nice 1.6 ohms dual coils...with a fresh battery,ima vape heaven.
Leakage occurs because some people dont put the wick in the slots in the right way Hera. but doubling the wick eliminates user's error because there is no room at all for liquid to go inside the center pole. Its very strange that some people still have issues with leakage even with doubled wick. I am almost sure that the problem comes because the connections of the wires are too fat.

Even me dont know all the possibilities we have with Ody. For example, today I was looking of the Ody designs and I realised that we can use it as AVS too. If we put a 510 atomizer on the short mode we can vape it normal (without having liquid control) just like in the AVS

this should work with a punched cartomiser too. like a standard cart tank, i got 5ml to vape off before i try
