Hello!

I would like to leave a note that not everyone on the German forum has leaking problems. My two Odys are working great in the bigger modes. I have one with the rebuildable atomizer on a lavatube (yeah, looking for a stealth or TS, ... =) and one with a 510 Cisco 1.8 on an ego passthrough.

The 510 needs a bit of attention while using it (taking unpowered hits to suck juice into the atomizer and aligning the holes in the atomizer with the slots in the ody base seems to work).

The rebuildable atomizer inside the bigger mode works just as expected - an extension from the short mode. I like my 0mg raspberry-vanilla-menthol even better in the bigger mode because I am a chain vaper and with more mass around the atomizer everything stays cooler. I like it.

I was interested in the dripping mode as well but could not get that to work yet. The nut that secures the ground wire on the rebuildable atomizer is too large to fit into the dripping mouth piece. I am guessing there should be a thinner nut (smaller OUTER diameter, same INNER diameter) in the package, but I didn't find it yet. Will look again tomorrow when I have more time.

Cheers from Germany,

Chris

If you're experiencing leaking from the pole, try this:

Before you screw the rebuildable part of Odysseus to the base, pull the little o-ring of the pole to the lowest position.
Then, as you screw it to base, watch for this o-ring to be placed right and seal the opening of the base, where the pole comes out. If you screw with the o-ring at a position close to metal part of the rebuildable, then the opening of the base (where the pole goes) will not be sealed, causing leaking.

Another way to seal this opening is to screw the rebuildable part to the base until the metal part of the rebuildable push the little o-ring of the pole to base, but with this method you will have a big part of the pole out of the base (which is something I don't like very much).

Anyway the point is that with the old base the o-ring would easily seal the opening because there was a "tube" which is now gone and we have to make sure that this o-ring will be placed in the right position.

This worked for me very well.:2cool:

Of course be sure to screw very well the metallic ring on the rebuildable part, check it to be as close to the base as possible.

Or... you could just put a second little o-ring of the same size there so that you have 2x at the bottom stacked.
