I used a 3mm diamond chamfer / milling cutter with my Dremel (a multi tool drill) to use the cermamic with the 3mm wick from Bengs. Worked perfect. Easy does it!

Here's a picture taken by Raagna, who did the same:

since my Ody arrives today I need to be ready for assembling the ody and I just wanted to ask if it's also recommended to Vaseline each and every part before using?

And I asked this before but did not get an answer do I need to punch a hole into an atty when using a regular atty with the ody?

And last but not least are all of you opening the ody to feed the atty or do you leave it open the entire time? or just to feed the atty and than close it again?

Mailman arrival in -3hrs 32mins

thats what I thought thanks a lot LSV that really helps. What about the Vaseline are you guys using it for the ody or is it not a must or not recommended?

You don't have to punch atty or cart in oddy since its feeding from the bottom holes. I leave it open but sometimes that floods the atty, depends on what I am using.

I lube all o-rings and threads. It also isn't a bad idea to give it a decient scrubbing to make sure nothing is in the threads.

And I havn't used 510 atomizer mode but if it is like the ufs just leave it upen slighly so it will always feed when you are taking hits.

Since we've been using the Ody now for some time, it would be interesting to know how long you all have been averaging out on a coil and wick. I'm quite a heavy vaper and I seem to go through a new coil and wick every 10 days or so. I always do a 1.5 ohm coil, after a couple of days it's gone to 1.8 or so. The best vape I've ever had.

thanks fright for the info I watched some videos about the UFS (I think) and it was recommended to use Vaseline so I figured can't hurt the ody if I do the same.

Gosh it will be quite the evening I hope. Ody arrives, new episode two and a half men (with crappy kutcher), a package arrived saturday with Beer from Germany, CANNOT WAIT TO GET OUT OF THE OFFICE!!!

Let's just hope they deliver without me having a mailbox.

I lightly vaseline all threads and O-rings - even the Odyss including the ceramic housing and upper connection nut - everywhere with threads - again - Lightly. You get anything stuck we will hear you scream across the country.

So I assume Mr. Arnold that once it's stuck it won't come loose again? oh boy I would scream so loud your windows in OH will shudder.

you should come to the vape meet in Atlanta Feb 18th I think. As far as I understood COV will be there but I am not sure about it. And bring your bird I bring popcorn.

Back up and running thanks to Bruce...cracked my plastic window last week which took the unit down. Thank you Bruce for sending me the replacement window!

I still think the plastic window is the Achilles heel of this incredible design. Imeo, do you have any plans to make a SS window for the large mode 510?

With stock wick dry burning once a day I was getting 3-8 days. On day 2 with Nextel now
