Very possible. Apparently some of the first versions had an issue with the switch going on it. They've evidently fixed that on the v2 or v3 or whatever version they're on right now.
I have KSD,eGo,SD keyrings and the Omega you sold me but it doesnt work very well with tanks (not enough space left to grab it properly and actuate)...its mostly a nice paperweight 
The switch just went poof while it was sitting pretty on my desk doing nothing...odd. (for the record,I just finished a vapin session with it when that happend)

So, what can you use the Semovar with? Looks like he uses it with an Ody in the beginning and that chipset almost reminds me of the Provari's chipset. Any relation?
He uses it with the kayfun...the kayfun uses wick but no freakin no res wire;you can also have the Kayfun in full metal,metal with window or full transparent...even the mouth piece and cap gives you the choice of metal or transparent
As for the chip,its more than what the Provari uses;you can adjust you watts independant of your voltage (will tell you if what you set it at cant be used) and it will also tell you if you cant use the settings with a given atty...

LOL My bf got one too and even though one of the FBs wouldn't thread onto the ego adapter pos I had, it will thread on the Twists fine. So now the issue is solved I haven't had any issues with dry hits, it vapes right down to the last drop without any dry hits for me. I love these damn things and I'm going to stock up like mad. Bf loves them too. I finally found a winner!
