The Stardust seems to be doing ok with it so far.. only took a couple tentative toots on it after I filled it. I'll use it for a while now. Haven't tried the Firebird yet. The Vivi.. write off.

Has anyone else noticed that the new long wick SD don't seem to turn juice dark as much as the short wicks did?
I really love the SD v1 but they had that problem. Most people were theorizing that is was caused by the wick taking up the juice from the top and leaving the sediments so that tended to concentrate the dark junk with each top up.
I was in the habit of doing a thorough cleaning and washing every 2 or 3 tanks.
With the new long wicks, the juice still get darker but nowhere near the same rate as the short wicks.
I've gone through about 10 fills on one SD long wick without cleaning and no problems at all. No drop off in vapour, Taste is still great and the juice is not getting too much darker.
You can call this a test or say that I am getting real lazy. either way, I am loving the long wicks.

mopar,you really have to look into those tanks...they are unbelievable for the price.

Firebird is still vaping GREAT! I did take the sleeve off though because I noticed yesterday that it was getting a LITTLE BIT stiff. So with the sleeve off it's perfect right now. I think I will do the mod to be able to put my drip tip on there, I like the look sans sleeve more I think.
Just did the little mod so that my drip tip would stay on sans sleeve. Did it for the bf's tank too. It was incredibly easy and it's in there fairly good. You could put a drop of super glue in there if you wanted to be sure it wasn't ever coming out but I think it will be fine without glue. Easy as pie and now it looks even better and I'm not vaping with my lips around that wide top
