I've never had TV version so I don't have anything vape wise to compare it to other than the real thing.

I do like the way it turned out but I'm sure I will modify it anyways. Was actually thinking of adding a bit of real lime juice to it for that extra kick.

That's something I tried too. I juiced some real key limes and mixed 50/50 with PG to preserve it. Didn't help with the taste of FW's key lime though, but I may try and make a juice using my key lime juice PG mixture in place of PG to see what happens.

Either way I'm in heaven right now with doing DIY. I honestly didn't think it would be this good.

It's as good as you make it. The trick is just figuring out what to make and how. I'm on the verge of creating a Coffee Crisp juice -- still working out the ratios and stuff, and it's a fairly complex mixture, but I think I can nail it, or at least come close.

Have you tried a drop of vinegar? It may help. I know there is a thread about it some where but I can't find it at the moment

The problem there is the lime. I bought some FlavorWest Key Lime on the assumption that it was supposed to taste like a key lime. Instead it tasted really vile to me. Even after steeping for more than a week it still tastes terrible, though not quite as bad as it did initially. TPA's Key Lime is way better, much more like a real key lime. Unfortunately it's harder to get because it can't be shipped by air. (Something about FAA regulations and citric acid -- all acidic flavourings have this issue.) Gotta order it FedEx ground which also means hefty brokerage fees. Also, TPA's Key Lime is unstable. It starts off wonderfully tangy, but it fades after 4-5 days into more of a sweet lime. I'm investigating ways to stabilize it, possibly by adding a little granulated citric acid to preserve the tartness. Malic acid may work too in smaller doses.

Also, replacing the pie crust with TPA Graham Cracker gives a nice change to a graham crust, which is more like Tasty Vapor's version.

Hey how much shorter is the mini lt vs full size? Thinking of getting a mini for work if its pocket friendly. Was thinking the twist but thinking I might constantly change voltage throwing it in the pocket all the time!

This will only help you if you know how big the normal size one is, I can find actual measurements if you want but for now.......

The dial on the twist is pretty solid. I was worried about this happening too, but it hasn't happened to me yet.

Nor I. The resistance on the dial is pretty firm. You have to want to turn it to change the voltage. I sincerely doubt it'll ever happen accidentally.

Maybe I will end up getting both! Think the mini lt would still be too bulky to be pocket friendly. I know the twist is still bulkier than a standard ego batt too, but would still prob be more pocket friendly. Hummm or the sd keyring? Can't see that little guy holding up with me haha! The wife wants to get set up too, so maybe 2 twists for me and I giver her my old egos? Orrrrrrr..... I just get a vmax? Haha

Also on the twist... Was reading reviews on it and people were saying there was no detents or "clicks" when changing voltage. Kind of why I was questioning accidental pocket changes. everybody seems to love em tho!

No, there are no detents, it's a straight up analog potentiometer. I kind of like that though, detents on a dial that small could lead to applying too much pressure to switch to the next one up and end up making you overshoot. The smooth dial gives a better impression of giving you "infinite" variability between 3.2 and 4.8v.

I've been using one of the 26" 1000mAh twists to get familiar with them. I treat it like a farm animal and it seems to like the abuse

I find on the black twist that it is hard to twist the dial. On my pink one, it twists much easier. It still has a lot of resistance so it shouldn't go manic in yer pocket. Maybe because of the different body types?The pink and white are kinda pearly and not rubberized. I only have 1 pink and 2 blacks so my pink one may not resemble all of the twists in the world. Lol. My blacks are 650meh (not a typo!) The pink is 1000ohmahmah.
