LR can damage batteries that aren't mAh enough to take it.

(Not just here for the cheap joke - it's true. You can apparently do Bad Things to a battery that doesn't have sufficient capacity).

Interesting, thanks. I was thinking it had to do with diminished battery life, and the fact that these are only 90 mah batteries it would offer something like 15 minutes of vape time. I'm very familiar with lithium batteries as I've been using them in my RC helicopter for years, but it seems that in the ecig world these same batteries don't seem to have the same kind of "C" output as I'm used to for some reason. For example, I have small 130 mah batteries for one of my mini helicopters that can output 35C, which means that the battery can output approximately 4.5 amps. I'm trying to wrap my brain around why these ecig batteries don't perform nearly as well.

Could someone tell me more info about the eroll ? Specially where the charge points are and how the tank fills - I'm assuming it's like a 510/Ego tank, since it takes the C atomizer.

The only review I'd seen in english is FieldofVapor's; eMini E-Cigarette Review (aka eRoll) - YouTube .. who says; it works, it's light. I guess he mentions the 90 mah battery and 1000 mah case, but still, I'm really curious about filling and where the charge points are.

I'm looking at introducing a few people to ecigs this Xmas. I'm not sure that they'll be opened to them  so I'm being cheap about it.

I'm getting a SD Key Ring and a LR Stardust. Will this combination work & do I need an adapter?

Also getting an eGo mini battery with either a SD or a T2. The battery is 3.7 volts, so do I get LR or SR to use with it, and what charger?

Thanks for the help.

I've got a review for it coming up. Basically, it seems to be designed for beginner vapers who want something as cigarette-like in form factor as possible, and this one is about the size of a king size cigarette, maybe a tad longer. It's a 90mAh battery, comes with two batteries and a 1000mAh PCC. The charge points are actually the two concentric rings at the tip, and it charges just by slipping it into the case, as there are two contact points that touch those rings for positive and negative. Charges in about half an hour. The tank system is the same as the eGo-C/ECab, just a bit smaller to fit the slim profile, and I believe it takes the same atomizer heads as the ECab and eGo-C. There are no threads anywhere on the device -- the atomizer sits directly into the end of the battery, and the atomizer cover slips over top of it and twist-locks into place.

Yes, you will need a 510-eGo adapter, as the Stardust needs a raised 510 connection, and the keyring doesn't have one.

I'd get the ~2.0 heads for the T2, or an LR Stardust for the eGo-mini if you like a warm vape, 2.5-3ohms if you like it cool. Charger is just a standard 420mA eGo charger.

It's one of those things I've been meaning to check into more deeply, as I'm not exactly sure what the "Bad Things" are. Maybe draining to fast and confusing the electronics, killing the battery? Don't really know, just speculating.

I do know that Li-po batteries have a higher discharge rate than Li-ion batteries, but I'm teetering on a knowledge cliff at this point.

It may not necessarily have as much to do with the battery as the switch. The switch is the thing that carries the current from the power source to the thing it's powering. Most of the switches used in mass market PVs and even many mods are only rated for maybe 2-3A, so even if the battery is capable of delivering more than that, the switch isn't, and any decent PV whose manufacturer knows this will regulate the device to stay below this limit. High current switches cost more so most manufacturers keep costs down by using lower capacity switches.

Chemistry plays a role too, of course. Lithium-manganese (IMR) batteries for example can deliver 10-20C, but do so at the expense of lower capacity than LiIons or LiPos, and they're also more expensive, so this is both a cost and a marketing consideration; fewer people are going to buy a PV with low capacity but high output because most people don't understand what that means. They're going to go for more battery life.

eRoll is just cool, hits like a champ always have a charged battery in the little pretty PCC. They do use the type-A eGo-C atty's just one of those units that are cool to have and take out somewhere when you want to do a little stealth vaping, seem a little classy or not answer questions about the 12" chrome device in your mouth and if it vibrates :)

Picked mine up yesterday and I had it use within hours. Took it with me to the Santa parade in Brampton and the thing hits like a champ. Definately happy with it, and like mopar stated, people will look at you cause of the blue light but then look away once they realize its an ecig. Vaping with my provari in public is like I'm walking around with strobe lights attached to my head and a big sign on a massive spring saying look at me!! Lol.

Actually, when I'm out with my mini ego's I'm pretty inconspicuous too.

So skipping the smok filler less carto's cause they aren't a punch in the face have enough stuff sitting around that doesn't perform as well as a vivi or stardusty. Can't see grabbing any more Zmax with the Vamo around? Anyone want to scream I'm making a bad call and they consider them must haves?

The U-DCT lockable tanks are coming :)

Well... I do love the Zmax and I got one from you so I would not be hurt if you stopped carrying it. If Smok made the board in the Zmax, I would have an issue.
I can see more mods like the vamo being produced in the near future, so in my opinion you should save yourself the frustration of dealing with Smok if you don't need to.
