Don't worry, I'm chill... Might not have picked up on the full extend of the sarcasm thoughI just had flashbacks of the P3 thread when people (myself included) wanted more than 20W, and inevitably someone would respond with "I don't have a need for more than 20W". Well, then don't use it!
I've tried vaping at 150W on a friend's mod, and it's a really different experience. Can't say I'd ever want to try more than that. I wonder what the future of a company like Evolv will be now that they've reached a point where more than 200W is not only unnecessary, but probably wouldn't be a selling point, and their software lets you set just about everything so there are seemingly no features left to invent. I guess they'll rely on companies coming up with new mods and continue using their chipsets.
IMHO, the next big breakthrough will be an atty that doesn't require heating a coil wrapped around a wick to produce vapor. Ever see those water fountains that are filled with fog? They use ultrasonic discs to produce the vapor. Then there's lasers!! Both technologies would take far less power than heating a coil, and would require new chipsets to be produced. Imagine the battery life? The future will potentially be very interesting, providing governments don't kill it off.
Someone made a rude comment...How did this turn into a fingernail thread?
Self conscious? If you wanna pretend you didn't start this when you quoted my pic & left your vile opinion then fine!......... I'm talking about the style in general and you are getting personally offended. It's obvious you are self conscious about this topic so I will leave it alone now. My apologies.
My guess would be that they can now work on making it work. And selling each new revision in the next mod. If they ever get it right, I may reconsider. Until then, I'll just keep juice in my tank, thereby avoiding dry hits. Juice control is far better than temp control!!Don't worry, I'm chill... You know, if they could release a product that didn't have any issues like the DNA30 and prior, it really would be a good choice for anyone.
Wait... what? The DNA30 didn't have any issues? the first 4,000 boards had a 60% fail rate... Yeah... no issues there.
Before you fire back... remember, I use the DNA30 in a mod that I made THOUSANDS of... and I bought the first 4,000 boards, lucky me, I was the first to be privileged with being able to use them. This is real data. And the long term failure rate is pretty terrible to this day.
Ever think about letting those fingernails grow a little? Hideous!Guess maybe I'll post a pic of my Radii, in hopes this thread can get back on track....
Sunday night football, posted in another thread...

Finally got my ProVari Radius Saturday! The quality is exceptional. My observations so far and a question for ZEN
I will be getting my second Radius as soon as I get past that 30 day hold for those ProVape rewards which will give me about $40 off my second Radius.
- Had have using the Kabuki 510 on my ProVari P3, but purchased two Kabuki’s with P3 threading for the Radius. All work good, except that with the Kabuki P3 thread, there is no allen screw and the aspire BVC coil makes the direct contact and seal between the Kabuki and Radius. Both the 510 and P3 Kabuki vape great and make good contact; however, I notice a little bit of juice leaks into the top plate of the Radius where there is a Red o-ring around the brass contact pin when I use the P3 Kabuki. The 510 Kabuki seldom leaked any juice into the top. For ZEN - Is this normal and can I assume that no harm is being done (over time) to the Radius recessed top-plate area around the brass pin and Red o-ring? I have read and understand the benefits you noted on this and the Kabuki thread, but am interested in your take. Personally, I can go either way since I have both the 510 and P3 Kabuki’s. Thanks Zen for any advice, and making the wonderful Kabuki!
- The Radius does provide a slightly better vape than my ProVari P3. It is more ergonomic for me, and the battery life is great. I am on day three and not even below 1/2.
- I plan to just use the USB to charge it, and replace the battery when it is no longer usable. I bought an Anker USB charger that I use to charge it rather than use my Mac USB.
I am also slowly stocking up on aspire BVC coils...Just in case
Thanks to everyone on this great forum for all the advice and reviews. It has helped me in my decisions.
My P3 Kabuki does that as well. Just a tiny droplet so does not concern me.
