Damn, she was so cute in her prime. I wonder if Irma La Deuce is on streaming?

Both of mine do and Zen said it's normal.
Quote from Zen's post in the Kabuki thread:

NOW, the condensation in the P3 connection area is actually on purpose... all tank attys have condensation, and most handle the issue by having a condensate tank in the airflow chamber... this generally leads to a build-up of condensation in the air chamber that eventually leads to gurgling. Personally, I hate gurgling... and once I realized that area in the P3 connector was sealed and liquid-tight, it occurred to me to let the condensation land there, out of the airflow where it will never gurgle... added bonus is that is is easily cleaned out, unlike the nautilus and others. This has made the P3 Kabuki become my favorite all-day vape!

Radius user, how long does it take for you to fully charge the radius?

I do the same as gnees. Plug her into a wall outlet iPhone charge brick while I sleep and she's fully charged and ready to go for the next couple days when I wake up.

Finally got my ProVari Radius Saturday! The quality is exceptional. My observations so far and a question for ZEN :)
  1. Had have using the Kabuki 510 on my ProVari P3, but purchased two Kabuki’s with P3 threading for the Radius. All work good, except that with the Kabuki P3 thread, there is no allen screw and the aspire BVC coil makes the direct contact and seal between the Kabuki and Radius. Both the 510 and P3 Kabuki vape great and make good contact; however, I notice a little bit of juice leaks into the top plate of the Radius where there is a Red o-ring around the brass contact pin when I use the P3 Kabuki. The 510 Kabuki seldom leaked any juice into the top. For ZEN - Is this normal and can I assume that no harm is being done (over time) to the Radius recessed top-plate area around the brass pin and Red o-ring? I have read and understand the benefits you noted on this and the Kabuki thread, but am interested in your take. Personally, I can go either way since I have both the 510 and P3 Kabuki’s. Thanks Zen for any advice, and making the wonderful Kabuki!
  2. The Radius does provide a slightly better vape than my ProVari P3. It is more ergonomic for me, and the battery life is great. I am on day three and not even below 1/2.
  3. I plan to just use the USB to charge it, and replace the battery when it is no longer usable. I bought an Anker USB charger that I use to charge it rather than use my Mac USB.
I will be getting my second Radius as soon as I get past that 30 day hold for those ProVape rewards which will give me about $40 off my second Radius.

I am also slowly stocking up on aspire BVC coils...Just in case :pervy:

Thanks to everyone on this great forum for all the advice and reviews. It has helped me in my decisions.

The condensation in the base is normal, and it's on purpose. This makes the P3 Kabuki the first and to my knowledge, the only, tank system that you can actually open it up and clean out the condensation collector. I'm actually looking at making the 510 version so it can be taken apart for cleaning in that area.

Thanks Zen...That makes sense now that you describe it. I will take off my worry hat

Oh how I wish but still would not matter. This time of year is always financially hard on us. And has nothing to do with buying gifts because we can never afford to get gifts for us much less anyone else. So hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy any and all black friday/cyber Monday deals they come across.

The Lemo V1 (and Drop) does that. Although, it may have been a case of serendipity...it was designed with a 2-piece base so you could leave one off and hybrid it onto an Evic Supreme(?). With both on, the center space acts as a condensation catcher.

Radius user, how long does it take for you to fully charge the radius?
I use a 1000mAh wall adapter and it takes around 3 and 1/2 hours.
The Radius charges at 800mAh, and the Samsung battery holds 2500mAh.
In other words,
Every hour the Radius will put 800 into the battery that holds 2500. So in 3 hours the Radius should have put 2400 into the battery.
Now when it's getting to the end of its charge cycle, it will slow down. Like if you wanted to fill a glass of water up to the very top of the glass, at first you let the water flow till you get close to the top, then you slow it down to a trickle so you don't over fill it.
But what ever you are using to charge your Radius, has to be able to push out 800. If the wall adapter or USB port can only push out 500, then it can take over 5 hours and 250 can take up to 10 hours to fill up that 2500 battery.
So if it's taking over 4 hours to charge a Radius, then it could be that what ever your using can't push out 800mAh.
:)

Did anyone replace the Samsung battery in their Radius with a different cell? When I received my Radius, the battery was only about halfway charged. Since I was preparing to go out and really wanted to use the Radius, I removed the Samsung battery and replaced it with a fully charged LG HG2 (3000mAh, 20A). I kept using that battery since then and am getting excellent performance out of it.

If memory serves, Ping is using an AW 3100 mAh cell in his Radius. I'm just using the battery supplied as it's provided excellent times for me, lasting well over 2 days.

When I'm slow at work, I will change the battery out. I take 2 extra batteries to work with me, I switched between the LG, Sony VTC4 and or a VTC5. :)

I am definitely taking a couple of spare batteries with me when my wife and I go to London in a few weeks. Of course, I'm brining the Radius with me, as I love the device's form factor and portability, compared to my tube mods. I am, however, not really worried about the HG2 draining. I can easily go two days with that battery in the Radius.
