Anybody got a link on a decent wood one?
Well... I am impressed!
Got the iTaste vv3 working... get this, it arrived fully charged!!! The taste is AMAZING... I took a sample hit off my eRoll after using this iTaste... how did I ever make such progress with such an AIRY taste?!?!?!
I find that I really don't need to change the default settings for this Virginia; if I boost either the v or w, it seems to just make it hotter, doesn't seem to affect the taste that much, though when I boosted the v to 4, it didn't taste quite as good, so i dropped it back down. It does take some getting used to, needing to click the button instead of the automatic style, but that's not really a huge deal. I do notice it's a lot hotter vape than what I got from the eRoll, and that DOES take some getting used to, but again, not that big a deal -- it's a LOT more like the taste of the cigarettes, though, maybe because of the heat? But the throat hit also seems much improved with the iTaste -- again, compared to the iTaste, that eRoll seems like... I dunno, a Carlton? (smoking air??)
This was an EXCELLENT purchase!!!!
I'm a former pipe smoker, and it tend to hold it like a pipe.Give me a few and I will see if I can manage a photo of my hand holding it.

Thanks Myranny, Flint and Ken! My first thought was to go to Home Depot etc but didn't know if there was a special place somebody found that was better. We'll have to go out to run errands today so we'll check to see what we find and put in an order if necessary! It would be nice to get them today and it makes sense to have several back ups.![]()
You don't have to do that, I watched a video.
I'm guessing you use your Hammer in 350 mode? The video was done in 350 and that looks easy and simple. The pics I had seen was in 650 and that looks seriously awkward. Have you tried yours in 650?
https://www.fasttech.com/forums/1569100/t/1120360/18650-kickCan or do u use a'kick' with the Hammer...or is there room for the kick (18650)? Tks
willieg on tapatalk
I've never even owned a kick. In 18650 no I don't believe there is room for anything but the battery.
EDIT. I had forgotten the second tube part for the 18500 so yeas I do believe a kick would work in all 3 configs.
you are welcome! You guys! My poor little notebook is straining at the seams with all this great info! Don't worry, I love it, and notebooks are cheap.
The knowledge is priceless, and freeI am so glad I found you guys and the porches, thanks!
I'd like the wood ones.

Just crank vw up till u get nice taste and vape. Differs per tanks used offc![]()
You are lucky to have a good vape shop in town. Our best vaping merchant started out with just RYO tobacco and tubes. But, what I could maybe do is head back to Steam Cigs, get some more of that Oak Barrel Cider in zero-nic to mix with the 18; I tried putting a few drops of the OBC in the Virginia and the greater sweetness does seem to help, but not enough.
Well, the cranking doesn't seem to work well with this flavor; in fact I'm starting to give this flavor the hairy eyeball, it tastes so GOOD in the eRoll, but not so much in the iTaste. I've seen some people complain about a "celery" or vegetation kind of taste, and that's kind of what I'm getting. It's a bit disappointing. But, what I could maybe do is head back to Steam Cigs, get some more of that Oak Barrel Cider in zero-nic to mix with the 18; I tried putting a few drops of the OBC in the Virginia and the greater sweetness does seem to help, but not enough.
I've got some sweet flavors coming, probably tomorrow; a Green Apple, and a chocolate flavor called "Geneva" from Crystal Canyon Vapes, so maybe the sweet flavors will do better.

Then maybe step it down a notch and try again. While the idea of VW is great, I find that I still need to adjust for certain flavors. Not all like the same heat. Tobacco ish flavors I find generally like a higher setting, but some of my lighter dessert flavors don't. At all.
And another recommendation for Ozium. Great stuff! Beats the heck out of all other air deodorizers I've tried.
There is no universal "code" that is shared between manufacturers that spells out what various letters mean for batteries. Often, the letters are used to show additional materials used in addition to lithium, but even then, the same letter can stand for one thing in one manufacturer's line and a different thing in another manufacturer's line.Other than the mAh rating, is there something else that is different between them? Do you know what the PD and B means? I know nothing about batteries, unless it's C,D,AA,AAA.![]()
The reason I went for the 3400mAh is because I am tired of constantly changing batteries and I vape A LOT.![]()
Yup. It's another learning curve. Different juice flavors taste different with different V/W settings but even "some" of those "gawdawful" ones might just be pretty good with the right setting.
Is there a way to subscribe to this forum, so I don't have to go thru so many to find you all again?

I made a lanyard for my VAMO, and it is working out well. Started having episodes of anxiety, vaped some nic, but it just wasn't enough. Went to VA, got on the treadmill, and walked it off.

I've got it set on its lowest setting, as far down as I can take it, and the Virginia just doesn't taste good in it -- the first hit was amazing, but after that, I started getting that 'celery' sort of taste. I guess it's true that the eRoll "muffles" tastes, because I don't get that taste at all in the eRoll. I think it probably is the greater heat; the eRoll is extremely cool compared to the iTaste; I was very surprised at first by how extremely warm the vape is, from the iTaste. So I'll just have to wait a bit and try some other flavors in it, when I get them. Disappointing, but I guess it's just me -- I want everything RIGHT NOW IF NOT SOONER!Of course this Virginia is not "aged" at all; it tasted good right out of the mailbox in the eRoll, but maybe it would benefit from some time in the dark, for the iTaste.
I was in the iTaste owners thread earlier, and someone suggested that the problem might be the iClear16, rather than the iTaste itself; I guess it might be. Maybe when I *finally* get those ARO pyrexes, I can try the Virginia in one of those and see if it's any better.

Yeah, despite the fact that I am not a vet, they understand. I thought I qualified for only three sessions a week, but he caught me walking the halls, I explained, and he said, "Come on in and get on the treadmill."Glad you got it sorted!![]()
I'm not sure I'd call either of these shops "good"; good and overpriced, maybe. I know you guys are probably sick of hearing all my vagaries, but it's really, REALLY helpful to have any kind of support group at all, with this quit-smoking thing. ....really put that craving out of its misery.

Yes. I think you are having a problem with "Pyrex." It is an American brand-name for oven-tempered glass.Smoktech aro's?
