Over the past 30 yrs I've tried: cold turkey, pregnancy (well I didn't get pregnant for that reason, heh), and the patch twice... never could quit for more than 3 months, and usually it was like, a week, and I'd be back smoking, *sigh* Started making a *serious* effort with vaping about 3 wks ago... gradually got my consumption down from about a pk a day, till it was just 2.. then 1... then I was like, well I might as well go ahead and quit, after 1 cig a day for 3 days worked fine. Today was the day I managed to abstain from my morning smoke, so it's my quit day.
But for me it's not just the e-cigs, though Im sure I couldn't have done it without them... it's also these folks, putting up with all my excuses and blathering...

What an amazing support group!!! I wish there was an emoticon for "GROUP HUG!!!" I'd like to plant a big fat juicy one on ALL OF YOU!!!
