Interesting reading all your different opinions of PV's and juice delivery devices and which wire to use or wick to use :D For me, it proves how important it is that we get to continue having lots of choices long into the future. Limited choices would IMHO greatly impact the amount of people that can successfully use ecigs to quit smoking and stay quit.

I have to admit, I'd find it a whole lot harder to start vaping today then I did 3-1/2 years ago. It was hard enough to decide what to start with back then. Pretty much 510's, 901's, 808's and the Ego. Mods were rarely recommended to newbies with most mods being all mechanical, mostly mechanical with some wiring, or 5 VT. VV was available but pretty sparce. There had been a wood Reo bottom feeder on the market for a few months but no aluminum Reo's yet. There are SO many choices today in such a large price range. Juice delivery was either by using a cartridge (I won't write a book to explain what that was but trust me, you don't want to EVER go back to that , dripping on an atty or cartos. There were a few modders playing with tanks but nothing substantial and if ya think today's versions of tanks have problems, well compared to those first ones, today's ALL work GREAT  That list of wicking material in here the other day was  When I built my first genny it was mesh and pretty much silica for my first RDA. Today's choices are far to over whelming for me.

One of the best pieces of advice I was given way back then still applies today IMO to every part of vaping. Doesn't matter what you start with, just pick one- ANY one, and get started. After you start it will be much easier to figure out where you want to go after that :)

There is also a Pink Pro Vari that looks like a good deal:D Go get em....

Yes, and if you don't like the color there are some fantastic JWraps that look stunning on them!

Don't know what's going on tonight, but I've lost the ability to "like" anything. So, since I've been zipping through the last several pages quickly and like everything, consider yourselves LIKED!! Gotta hit the sack and I'll be out all day tomorrow. I may never catch up here!!

I was underwhelmed by the iclear 16 that came with mine. It's pretty, but I much prefer my protank minis. I just prefer the bottom coils in general.
If you bought the energy edition MVP V2.0, it came with an iClear 16b which is a dual bottom coil device unlike all the other iClear 16 variations which are top coil.

I liked it initially, but after only a week I'm getting flavorless hits maybe a third of the time. No burning yet. A shame because I liked the larger capacity compared to the ProTank 2 mini but my month old minis only needed new coils this past weekend so I got close to 4 weeks from them.

Maybe for some other flavor, that isn't destroyed by all that heat. The Virginia that I presently vape all day and half the night is utterly destroyed by that much heat. Maybe the cocoa? I had been thinking of trying out that cocoa in my eRoll, but I know that would really mute the flavor. Maybe I could try the iClear with it and just make sure the iTaste is set to its LOWEST setting.

If the resistance of you atty is 1.8, then the 3.3 volt and the 6.0 watt settings are fairly equal.

If the resistance is greater than 1.8 (2.2, 2.4 etc.) then the 3.3 volt setting is your LOWEST setting.

You may want to consider that the HOT vape may be because of a wicking problem, but you have something that works now, so you can set them aside and fiddle with them later.

I am very Happy with my VV3's and an MVP. I use Vivi Nova's (and Mini's) and PT2's (and Mini's). I realize they are not the Best, but they work for me (after I learned how to tune each) and I refuse to chase other things that may work marginally better. It seems that everything I DON'T have is raved about (until it's in my hand, then it needs fine tuning). Lol

Be very careful when chasing bargains because it is very difficult to pedigree these things, even if they look similar. Most of the money I consider wasted has been from BARGAINS!

(Very proud of you, BTW)

Relax! Enjoy!

I find it disturbing that our beloved and maternal federal government would ever dream of doing anything that might jeopardize our access to such a life changing product such as this. I am confident that a government such as ours, so carefull to give full thought and consideration to all research and information on any bill they might be considering, would never do anything like that just for the sake of a few lobbyists or corporations. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for feeling you need to take steps to protect yourselves from our benevolent maternal federal government.

Speekin' o' joose... Someone at quacks was talking about the quality of fivepawns. Anyone try it? Kinda pricey. Thinking about ordering a sample pack. Free shipping anywhere in the states so I guess it's not that pricey when you think of it.

Got my pro tank minis today and my first thought was these are tiny..but they are easy to refill and actually the way I like to change flavors will work out well. I don't like not being able to like:laugh:

Also I wanted to add Ahlusion chocolate is great..peppermint bark is just like an Andes mint

Thanks. :thumb:

I think the resistance in this one must be 2.5, because it typically registers on the iTaste as 2.7, 2.8, and the T3S's that I see are generally listed as 2.5; I only see the 1.8/2.2 variations in the replacement coils. So I'll use the 3.3v setting, when I try the cocoa, IF I decide to try the iClears again, instead of just using my eRoll. The eRoll mutes flavor a lot, but that might be better than a burnt flavor. :p Especially since I just got this juice today, and don't know if it needs to sit awhile or what.

Once I get some more bottom-coil tanks (2 coming this week), I can try some better options.

EDIT: Actually, I just realized, I won't be trying the cocoa in this T3S, but was thinking of trying the iClear16 again, and have no earthly idea what the resistance is.

Innokin VTR is on the left, Innokin MVP in the middle and Trixie (made by MadVapes using the guts of a Smoktech VV Gripper) on the right.

The VTR is the only PV that I use. The power button of the MVP is too small, too hard to press (because it is slightly recessed) and inconveniently located for my big mitt.

The VTR is uncomfortably heavy for most people, heavier than any other PV made. Even the MVP is found pretty heavy by a lot of people, but it's a featherweight compared to the VTR. The built-in non-removable 2600 mah battery of the MVP lasts a good long time on one full charge.

The Trixie is very light in weight, fits most hands well and uses a (button-top only) 18650 battery for lots of vaping before a freshly charged battery needs to be put in. I would not expect the Trixie to be as sturdy as either of the two Innokin PVs shown but that's just an educated guess. I've only used the Trixie for a few hours in the 4 months that I've had it.

I greatly missed that, too, but it just popped back in a few minutes ago.... Very strange...
