Morning all. Been making myself nic sick on this Black Russian kayfun that I won on the mod envy show 4 weeks ago. This thing is way better than clearomizers and tanks, even the nautilus.

Yup, once you learn how to get them running it's hard to use anything else. What are you wicking with? I've been using a cotton wick on a 1.8 coil since Sat and it's still going strong.

I think my Nautilus had a curse on it. The coils were nothing but a pain in the ..... I tried everything but holy water on it. Was fighting it last weekend and it fell on the tile floor and the tank broke, ended up tossing it.

Morning all!

Anyone know where I can get a air control thingie to protect my 510 threads on my mods? I change toppers a lot and I'm afraid I'll have a thread issue.

Finally got word that FT is going to split my order, since it was being held up by 2 items that aren't available right now. One of which is my Sigelei Zmax, really has me p'o'd. Of course, the most important thing on the order, I'll have to wait even longer for. At least all the eGo stuff I got for my best friend will get here in time for her visit next month (hopefully). And my Igo L and Kayfun Lite will be here and give me time to learn to rebuild, along with the ohm meter.

Damn! I am so upset about the Zmax. I was already very impatient and wanted it asap, knowing it would take weeks, but there's no telling how long it will take now. I'll get to use the little LT I just bought, while I wait, my Nitecore charger is in the order too and NOT being delayed. Thank goodness! But it's the LT I want the air control thing for. Being as cheap as it was, I'm sure it has brass threads and I don't want to strip it out changing tanks/flavors all the time. As far as I know, the Zmax has SS threads.

I know that people say to use lemon juice with certain flavors and vinegar with other flavors. I have used white vinegar (because that's what was on hand) with all kinds of flavors and found it to work well. Regardless of which you use, they act as catalysts and don't actually impart any flavor to the juice themselves, just as long as you keep the amount used reasonably small. I've used as much as 2 drops of vinegar for each ml of juice and not had any vinegar taste.

Wow, that's a lot of vinegar. What made you use that much and did it work?

Something like this? 510 Tank Airflow Controller : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes

Got some from them recently, fast turn-around on the order. And the top portion comes all the way off giving ego and 510 threading, without air flow control, of course.

That can be left on all the time right? Just change the tank?

Could be because they're busy making their new 20W mod using the clone DNA20 chip:
$83.77 Authentic Sigelei-20W Variable Volt/Watt Mod - 7.0W-20W / 3.0V-8.8V / 1*18650 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I don't care why, I want my Zmax! The message I got said something about the manufacturer dropping the ball. Not in those words, but what I took it be.

I hope so too! That's right next door!!

I haven't heard a single thing about it one way or the other, here in GA. How could I find out?

Andria

Might be hard to wade through your State's legislation pages... so maybe just keep an eye here: Legislation News

Thx for the tip; now I'll go back to considering that Fallen Angel. :D :thumb:

Andria

Andria, let me try to clarify my "caution". It is not meant to discourage you or anyone else from purchasing a Vamo. I have 3 as I've said before. They are dependable, sturdy and unlike some PVs their Achilles heel was discovered early and there is a work-around for it. Don't be so easily deterred from purchasing any vaping item that appeals to you because it has a "wart". Most PVs have at least one "feature" that is less than optimal. Read any thread you can find about other peeps' experiences with any PV so you can get the good and the bad and then judge for yourself. Make your own decision based on your research and some consideration time.

Well, what I liked about that particular one was the black chrome... it just looks *sharp* -- but if it wears off and looks "spotty", bleah. Plus, even when I slightly begin to consider the savings with FT, every single thing I read about FT says to me "NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM!" I'm a cheap Scrooge McDuck, but I'm also a very impatient Scrooge McDuck, and I would just simply have hysterics waiting that long for ANYthing -- even free shipping wouldn't calm me down. :D The other thing I liked about it was the vv/vw, and so I might consider it in the stainless version -- from a different vendor that wouldn't require me to take valium just to await its arrival. ;)

I really really like that Fallen Angel; the telescoping, the side button, the sleek "plain-ness" of it. The first time I ever laid eyes on it, I began to consider that maybe a really big (compared to this iTaste!) PV might be a good thing after all. :D But I'm still looking, right now. Couple months till I have the money for any purchases other than e-juice. Well, maybe a dripper, to make tasting juices easier. :D Next Month.

Andria

So if you put an aerotank on top of an airflow regulator, what happens? Vortex? Tornado? Spontaneous galactic implosion?

Last stinky October 15, 2013

Nothing, It will only help attys that get air flow through 510 connection.

edit: Are you being serious? If not my bad

FT shipping is slow enough I'm not sure if I'll be alive by the time they arrive. I'll pay more then wait a month or longer. Vaping is so cheap with building your own atty's and DIY juice you can easily afford the extra. I'm guessing I'm under 50 cents a day.
