These may work but I don't know who they are made by: Ceramic Tweezers Replacement Tips

Thank's Susan. Those tips look like they will work just fine. Your a life saver, plus I love their pricing on some of thier other items. I have not ran in to these folks before but I sure will order some things from them to give them a try.

Thought of the day.

As election time rolls around again to elect a new president, it would be highly prudent to kick Hilary to the curb and elect the Suicide Bunny for our next president. If she did nothing else for this country, I am confident that store shelves everywhere would be stocked to the hilt with Mothers Milk and Sucker Punch.

3rd thought of the day:

It is not okay to ask your old lady to shave her pubes when you run out of cotton!

Final thought of the day:

If Obama vaped, he would most likely be puffing on an Egyptian clone with a tank full of juice called, 'Liars Delight'

Hi Tyger,

Welcome to the porch! Pull up a rocker and sit a spell.

I did want to let you know that politics and other topics that aren't directly related to vaping are generally better posted to the Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch thread. It's under the Community/Lounge topic. We generally try to keep the vaping-related posts here on the front porch, and everything else on the back porch (we don't always do a very good job of it, we do tend to wander, but that's the idea).

2nd thought of the day:

The unabashed dictionary defines subohm vaping as, 'I traded my cigarettes for a pipe bomb'.

I don't think you'll find many cloud chasers on this thread, but there are some of us who sub-ohm. There's a big difference between a 0.5 Ohm build (8.4A max) on a 20A battery and a 0.2 Ohm build (21A max) on the same battery. The first one is almost certainly safe, while the second one is pushing the limits and is likely to result in long-term damage to the battery at a minimum, and catastrophic failure of the battery as a worst-case. So, personally, I prefer to think of it in terms of safe vs. unsafe, rather than in terms of sub-ohm vs. 1+ ohm. The important part is to know Ohm's law, and to know the safe continuous discharge rate of the batteries you're using. So, I have to add this picture:

Most memorable quote:

"I would love to vape with a 110v but I have yet to find an extension cord long enough to make it from the house to the mall!" Katy Perry, discussing why don't someone build a vape device that I can plug in to my wall socket and take it to Neiman Marcus for an all day shopping spree. "Darn those inconsiderate Pilipino mod makers!"

She just needs to get herself one of these:
5V 240W power supply
I'd be willing to put it in a box and wire it up for her.

I am convinced that vaping found itself in America way to late. If they had vapes in John Wayne's day he would still be alive today, as there is no doubt that he would of pitched his Camels in a trash can in favor of a naval brass Mutant. I call on all vapors to think of the Duke the next time you are sitting around the house, puffing on your favorite mod.

It might have helped. It might also have helped Bogart to live a little longer. On the other hand, I think this is pretty fascinating:
Straight Dope: Did John Wayne Die of Cancer Caused by a Radioactive Movie Set?
Based on this, I'm going to guess that Wayne was pretty much a goner whether he smoked or not.

I don't mind ordering inexpensive things online; ordering expensive things online is almost always a thing I like to avoid. Buying things that have to be shipped from China is a real pain for me. I bought my wife a relatively expensive ($89.00) blow dryer recently that took almost a month to get to us from China.....egads!!!! I have trouble waiting on overnight packages, but weeks or months is just to slow for me.

You own three Ferraris and you think a $89 hairdryer is a high ticket item? Hm, you weren't pulling everyone's leg were you? LOL

The good thing I have to say about Fasttech is that they'll work with you (eventually) if the item you bought from them is not as described. As far as authenticity goes, the track record is not particularly good. Fasttech may have been TOLD that the item is authentic but that doesn't necessarily mean that it IS authentic.

Bigbells, thank you for the correction. Saw your answer and realized I’d read that before, probably on this very thread.

I have to admit that I exaggerated the three part being a little smartazz to the guy who was giving me a hard time, but yes I think $89.00 for a blow dryer, especially when you are buying it wholesale, is outrageous. What do you think?

I really appreciate all the great information you have shared and the link to the story on John Wayne. I am still learning my way around the forum and different threads so I appreciate the advice on what goes where. I was just trying to impart a little humor.

I do enjoy talking about subohm vaping but I am definitely not a cloud chaser. I prefer to subohm the juices I like, but when it gets to a point that the taste suffers from it, I back off the power in favor of better taste.

As you know, I am making a transition from being a flavor-flitter with 30+ clearos to relatively few juices in inexpensive RTA's. I have found a set of eight mixes that I am happy with most of the time. I will have five RTA's in a few days. My plan is to have fifteen different juices, and cycle them in sets of three through the five tanks. That way, I will have five different flavors available all the time.

Question:

If I do it that way, I will usually just drop the new flavor on top of a reasonably empty tank that held another. I plan to match the triplets for some degree of compatibility. Do others do this, or have they tried it and not been happy with the results?

My proposed triplets are
Earl Gray, Jasmine tea, and Absinthe & Strawberry
Cherry Blossom Tea, Violet tea, and pomegranate
Hibiscus tea, honeysuckle tea, and Cranberry/orange relish
Lavender tea, Rose tea, and berry yogurt
Honey yogurt, tobacco, and orange.

I think $1.99 and free shipping is too much for a hair dryer (for me). Unless you're standing in the rain, your hair is going to dry eventually. :)

For around here, you're story was a bit hard to believe. Give WillieZee a chance, he's a good guy. Almost everybody on ECF is a decent person but this is the internet and we do get blow hards in here and people get defensive. ECF if mostly about helping each other , sharing experiences and having a little fun now and then.

ETA Ask me if I wish I had a dryer sometimes. That would be an entirely different answer.

The fact that his profile boasts 60 friends tells me that he is a likeable guy. I am pretty new to forums and I am still learning how to convey myself properly, if that makes sense to you. I honest to God was not trying to come off like a know it all or I got more mods than you. I was just an average middle income guy earning a little over $180k a year working for a pharmaceutical company. In February my wife fist wife died and she had made a lot of wise investments with our money. A few wise investments of my own and I have found myself with the money now to indulge my worst fault, absolutely no impulse control.

Authentic mods are cheaper than a lot of other hobbies and I have basically bought just about everything I have either heard about or seen in an ad. I really did not mean to aggravate anybody by sharing my outrageous purchases over the past four months. For whatever it is worth, I have not exaggerated about how many mods and rdas I have bought. I could probably open up my own vape shop with what I have and have one of the largest inventories of mods and RDA's in this part of the country.

Humor is always appreciated :) Please take my comment as intended as a helpful suggestion rather than a correction. I'm one of the worst offenders when it comes to getting off-topic.

I agree completely about cloud chasing/flavor chasing. I like a thick, dense vape because there tends to be more flavor. I also use max VG juice, which tends to mute the flavor, so I compensate for that with more vapor. It's all about controlling the amount of power (wattage) to the coils, and how that power is spread over surface area of the wick. Surface area and airflow translate wattage to temperature at the juice, which translates to flavor. I have some juices that taste perfectly fine at certain temperatures, but taste flat-out terrible when the temperature is too high. Getting all of those variables dialed in for a particular device/juice is both fun and challenging for me.

I do this, but sometimes I get unpleasant surprises. Banana + Cinnamon Red Hots sounds good, but tastes more like cinnamon flavored gym socks.

I moved them around a bit. It is that tobacco that is out of the general scope of things. I guess I will keep most of my teas and most of my fruits together, and just see what happens. Or I could add another and just keep my tobacco separate in a clearo.

Am I eager, or what? :D

Do you get your teas from the flavour apprentice ? What are they like , is there an underlying tea flavour common to them all or do they taste more like what flavour is with the tea ?

It make sense. I am very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what that must be like.

You might want to leave out the pharmaceutical company part, they are hugely unpopular here, or make it clear what you did there, otherwise you'll constantly be peppered with questions. Your collection is impressive and enviable. People usually don't show up out of the blue with a collection like that. Don't worry, you'll fit right in once they get over the shock.

We had a very popular and knowledgeable member of the forum stop by the a few days ago to give us an update on his situation. He got screwed out of his job, then no one would hire him because of his age. It's astounding how many people here have the same problem. That member, Baditude, having just been here and your grand entrance probably have folks more defensive than usual. Not your fault.

In the long run, the hobbyists are gonna love you. Be prepared to post a lot of pictures. They love pictures around here. :)

I have found so far that money only gets you so far.
I've spent probably $500 + just on e liquids in the last 3 months and thats just to go through a few companies to find which ones i like.

Buying from companies that are highly recommended and there have been some winners and some losers.
$130 on a kit that was crap I got from doing 2 minutes searching i thought cigalikes were the latest thing but proper research corrected me.
Sometimes an item costs a lot for a valid reason other times it costs a lot because the person selling it wants to make as much as they can.
