Many dripping attys like the 357 can also be used on bottom feeders like the REO if one is not inclined to build their own coils for a rda. I went with the RM2 rebuildable on my REO because I was ALREADY building coils for both protanks and other RDAs.

Correct me if I'm wrong here Myrany, I don't own a REO unfortunately, but just about any 510 topper (carto, dripper, etc.) with a hole through the bottom 510 positive post could be used on a bottom feeder; I think. It just uses the bottom air feed holes to funnel juice from the lower tank (squak bottle) up to the coils or filler material. Adversely to carrying a separate bottle to drip from on high, right? And, the bonus is that ANY 510 topper will work on a REO, but you just do not get the convenience of squaking from the on board lower tank if the topper does not support it. More options, always a plus in my book! So, since the the 357 has a hole through the positive post, it would be a perfect no fuss way to enjoy a dripper without rebuilding. Right? By the way, I envy your REO's and will buy one one of these days; right after a Provari! Bruhahahahahahahah!

yup. i have a couple of disposable atty's in my rotation. in fact, in the last month, 2 of my hh357s died. of course, i will never buy another one since i can rebuild one of my RDAs for less than a nickel.

you're a cute kid. i woulda offered you a provari, but i have no freakin idea where i put them after i got me a reo.

Thanks mama! But, I'll chase you around the kitchen with my cane for the "kid" comment. I've been vaping 5-6 years now. I just find what works for me and stick with it, like, forever! No need in going rushing around looking for the "next great vape" every other day when what I have works just fine. I'm not a prude and will try them all if the opportunity presents itself, but i did use my PureSmoker Prodigy V3 (yes it's a 6v mech using stacked ICR 123's) and 2 ohm carto's (tanked or not) for about 4 years before I even tried a VV or other devices. So a Provari, or REO for that matter, would be, IMHO, just about the pinnacle of my vape experience. But, still won't keep me from pok'n fun, at ya pretty little girls!:pervy:

All this talk about dripping and mechs, I have no interest in either, give me my mvp and a good tank, im good, but to each their own.

Nothing wrong with it at all.

If you notice I said MOST people can do this one handed. I can't LOL. SO for driving I use and EGO or EGO twist and a carto tank. :)

Everyone finds their happy place and sticks to it. There is no reason it should be exactly the same for all of us.

Well... Not EVERYONE. Many people get the sickness and are constantly looking for the next "great thing". I bet they spend LOTS of money that way. People like us find our happy place and only occasionally try something new. Once it has been proven by the glimmer-junkies and if most of them say it does what interests us. :D

then again, I have a hard time passing up a pretty new mouthpiece or BCC.... :p

Got 2 vape mails coming. A bottle of radiator pluid should be here tomorrow (anybody tried it ?), and a rda (igo w) on Friday . Gotta snag me some cotton balls and kanthol tomorrow. I found some cotton balls, but when I started boiling them, the steam smelled like a medicine cabinet, so I am going all out and get a new bag for vape only. Well, maybe vape and gun maintenance....I'll stash 'em in the man cave.

How about that! Vape mail will get me out of the house in nasty weather...

I;ve had good luck w/ CVS branded cotton roll for wicks w/o even boiling it.

I was wondering, did most of you more experienced vapers move on to mech mods and/or dripping? I see posts throughout ECF talking about how much better the flavor of a juice is in a drip atty, is it really? Threads I read about mech mods make them seem a little intimidating (kicks, switches, etc.) and I can't seem to find any info about just plain old starting out with a mech mod and I don't have enough knowledge about them to ask questions in the mech mod forums. Are there mech mods that you can just use a tank with such as a PT, Davide, etc. or is that defeating the purpose of a mech? Do I even need one to give dripping a try? I'm mainly interested in a mech because of the longer use time they have between charging/ changing batteries and not having to replace the whole thing if the battery goes bad. I currently have a couple of iTaste vv v3s, are there simple to use/clean drip attys that will work with them?

Any info is much appreciated!

Kim - you got a bunch of good advice on mechs, but one thing I didn't see mentioned. With a mech you need to be aware of and pay attention to the quality/quantity of the vape to determine when to change the batt. Since it has no electronics there's no 'indicator' when the batt get low so you have to learn to gauge/guess when it's time to switch out the batt. It's actually possible to drain a batt to the point you ruin it.

diabetes and senior moments. Mama just found her spot on the porch...

Welcome to the porch Mama - always nice to have new people joining the group.

Yep its going to be confusing with another Kim around here. Though Iffy is the only one that calls me that. :)

I think I am going to call Kim B by my old nickname KB in the hope it sticks to her and finally leaves me ;)
-My sister when we were kids was given a stuffed bear with a hat on it that said Kimmy Bear. She started calling me kimmy bear which the rest of the family shortened to KB and it stuck.

I get good results with an RDA on my MVP. I can create decent cloud on a single 3ohm coil. I had duals for 1.5 and popped one and haven't rebuilt it yet. Surprised how good it still performs on the MVP at the higher resistance.

To me the drip provides the best flavor and volume of smoke. I have not been able to replicate this on any other atty. not really a pain I pull the drip tip drop 2-3 drops and get 5 GREAT hits. I will take these over an infinite supply of mediocre hits from a clearomizer/carto/etc.

Again it isn't for everyone but don't rule it out.

Obviously went to bed too soon last night...

You might also want to have a look at the Innokin SVD, if you're still looking at VV/VW tubes. Well constructed, all stainless, telescopic so you can use in tall or short. Has more than one button - separate ones to raise, lower and fire. And you can lock the settings to prevent accidentally changing them.

Other than a Spinner, VV3 or similar on a lanyard for dropsies, my usual device these days.

Yeserie and feelin' mucha bettah too!!!

And while I got your attention...

You said:
BTW, NO dry hits and NO leaking whatsoever! I've yet to dump da joose due to discoloration/darkening. Besides, I'm a function over fashion kinda guy.

Got 4 of those due to arrive in a couple weeks (co-op)...now I may have to go and pay retail for one, TYVM. :( :D
Thanks for the info (all of it)! :toast:

Congrats!!
Getting VAPEMAIL on a vape-a-versary just makes the day more special! :)

Yes sir, it sure does and thanks...I know there are some here that dwarf my success (MikeE3, Iffy, JanetH and many others), but we are all very thankful that vaping helped us get away from the stinkies. I can honestly say I have not smoked 1 stinky in this 2 yrs, but there have been many times when I was tempted...determination not to give in and vaping away the urge made it happen for me.

Thank you all for the kind words and congratulations and I congratulate each and everyone of you for your success...no matter if it's only one day or 5 years...Congratulations

Congratulations on 2 years.
Hope your vape mail is everything you need to celebrate with :bday:

Thanks Slots...see above! Your another of the great assets we have here OTP (on the porch)! :toast:

Williegntx - A big congratz hug from me. That is just wonderful. I know you are so proud. Vaping is a beautiful thing and it amazes me everyday. And it takes a lot to amaze me. Not entertain but amaze. heehee

You are right about the coils. I really think taking the flavor wick off made it better for me too. :)

Well, congratz again my friend. That's just wrong not to share with us what you are getting in the mail. You know what they say about "curiosity killed the cat....." You must be a little teaser. bahahahahaha

Thank you R2D2, glad removing the flavor wick helped you out.
As for what was in the vape mail...well, not much too exciting. Some items from a co-op that I picked up for some v-verts, some 18650 batteries for me. For the v-verts: 1300mAh rainbow colored Twist (really nice looking eGo's), Aspire BDC ET-S and more Aspire BDC coils.
My big celebration will be for next year (that next new shinny object we are all waiting for) (Good Lord willing)!

I;ve had good luck w/ CVS branded cotton roll for wicks w/o even boiling it.
.............

Guess I'm gonna have to get me some of that...boiling is a PITA. :D

I've been looking at the SVD too, I especially like the separate buttons and it appears to be Ego compatible too, a big plus since most of my toppers are Ego threaded.

Thanks for pointing this out, I have not seen this mentioned before. I'm beginning to think that a vv/vw mod with replaceable batteries may be more suitable for me. I started with cig a likes and then moved on to the iTaste vv v3 so I'm used to the vv/vw style and like it very much, just need one that will give me longer vape time.

KB (as per Myrany <chuckle>),

A replaceable batt VV/VW is da next logical step in your progression! Ya won't regret gettin' one... or two... or...

Yes, indeed, ego and 510 threaded. And while I've been able to put all my various toppers on with no problems, the top collar comes off if you have one that's too big to fit inside.

As my dear old granny (loved that woman) used to say "Call me what you want, just be sure to call me at supper time". lol

KB it is. :)
