Thank you R2D2, glad removing the flavor wick helped you out.
As for what was in the vape mail...well, not much too exciting. Some items from a co-op that I picked up for some v-verts, some 18650 batteries for me. For the v-verts: 1300mAh rainbow colored Twist (really nice looking eGo's), Aspire BDC ET-S and more Aspire BDC coils.
My big celebration will be for next year (that next new shinny object we are all waiting for) (Good Lord willing)!

If it is the same co-op I'm waiting on..... she sent mine to someone in New Mexico. I hope to get them soon. I'm really more excited about the MVP I won in that co-op.

What's the new object we are all waiting for? I want to get excited too. heehee

Yaaaaa me!

Sitting here in front of me, I now have two of my (so far) favorite rigs.

Two Sigelei #20's with two Protank 2's, outfitted with Panasonic CGR18650CH batts, 1.8Ω :))) rebuilt coils and near perfect cotton wicks.

My wife was a menthol smoker but found she likes Cappuccino, so she "appropriated" the other VV3. I keep a filled Evod on both for her, one with menthol, one with Cappa.

We have about 30 PT2/Evod coils, plenty of rebuilding materials including spare rubber grommets, and about a years worth of nic liquid in the freezer.

I've been saying for a while now that I was going to start researching/experimenting with flavors, now it's time to do just that. Next time my CFO... er... wife releases some more funds into the vape budget, MBV here we come!

Good evening everyone. Hope you all are doing well.

I have a friend I would like to introduce to vaping. I know the next time I see him, he's going to have a million questions and want to try it. Hopefully he can shake the smokes using it. My concern is that he is diabetic...any vape related problems ? The only concern I can think of would be sweeteners in the liquid, but I am no diabetes expert.

Anybody have experience along these lines they would be willing to share ?

Sure is nicer on this porch than mine. Never made it out of single digits today.

Just checked with a neighbor who has been diabetic for many years. He says there haven't been any changes good or bad regarding his diabetes and he's been vaping for over 2 years. Of course I think he only vapes maybe 2 ml a day - hardly even counts as vaping, but still. He does feel better physically, but he's not smoking cigs at all so of course he'd feel better not smoking. His wife mentioned that she'd heard mention that VG can cause an increase in blood sugar levels, but hasn't noticed it with her husband. Any diabetic who is changing anything big in their lifestyle would want to keep an eye on their sugar levels especially as their body adjusts to the lack of chemicals. They're taking bad stuff away so it's hard to imagine that it could make their disease any worse.

I know, I know, 'Not again, Iffy!'...

Still enjoy my carto/tanks and da Aspire BDCs. BUT, I've held off reveling my latest fav topper in order to give 'em at least a two week 'ride'. Ready...?

Ta dah... da Aspire Nautilus (AN)! Check out da various YT reviews (Todd, Pete B., RiP, etc.) and RiP's rebuild VIDEO. Da specs and extras are in da vids. I can only say dat this puppy is da BEST topper I've ever used and agree wid da reviews; it rocks!!!

Fortunately, I got a pair of ANs on $ale early on (shoulda got a half dozen). Unfortunately, now I can only find 'em in da mid $30 range. Still gonna get several more regardless of da price! It's gonna take sumpin' very special to out perform da AN.

If nuttin' else, just buy one and you decide. If ya don't like it, I'll adopt it from ya for your cost minus shipping.

Seriously, I'm truly more than pleased wid da performance!

Whoa! That thing holds 5ml of juice!! It even looks big on the ProVari! Well, at least you won't be having to fill that baby very often! Doesn't it make the whole device much heavier? Love the video - RIP does a good job. I think the Nautilus looks wonderful, but I think it's too big for me. I'm a delicate flower you know...

As my dear old granny (loved that woman) used to say "Call me what you want, just be sure to call me at supper time". lol

KB it is. :)

TY TY TY for being a good sport ;)

BTW you do know you do not have to limit yourself to devices with ego threading there are some very inexpensive adapters. That add ego threading to 510 devices that do not have it.

I don't notice a big weight gain from my hyper tanks and they hold that much. Only need to refill every other day now... 'Course I DO switch out flavors throughout the day, so it's not twice a day for me :)

Here is what I got. $1.30 510 to eGo Adapter Convertor for E-Cigarette at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping Since it is free shipping, it makes it a pretty good deal. I swear to you I don't work for FT. heehee
I have some of those from madvapes and also some EGO to EGO 510 Atomizer Adapter [2104] : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes

Got 2 vape mails coming. A bottle of radiator pluid should be here tomorrow (anybody tried it ?), and a rda (igo w) on Friday . Gotta snag me some cotton balls and kanthol tomorrow. I found some cotton balls, but when I started boiling them, the steam smelled like a medicine cabinet, so I am going all out and get a new bag for vape only. Well, maybe vape and gun maintenance....I'll stash 'em in the man cave.

How about that! Vape mail will get me out of the house in nasty weather...

There was a lot of talk about the cotton for vaping it needs to be 100% cotton. Might be better off getting the box with sterile cotton. I think the cotton balls are synthetic. If you get a box of the cotton it's not expensive and it will probably last you for years.

Some people swear by "Organic" cotton. But it seems that even the organic stuff is bleached w/hydrogen peroxide so you might want to boil it as well.

I couldn't find the small box of sterile cotton, so I got a bag of cotton balls. It says they are cotton, so they are cotton.

Ya'll have me wanting to try cotton in my little igo-L. I'll get some but I bet it won't be from CVS. bahahahahaha Do the cotton wicks last as long as the silica? Just wondering.

It depends. :D You can't dryburn cotton like silica so if you neglect to drip and burn the cotton, it is done. Pull it out and throw it away. It is cheap though so no big deal. I throw it away just to change juice flavors.

Test it .

Take a little bit of the cotton and light it with a lighter. It should turn completely to ash. If there is any sort of clump of something waxy/plastic in the ash then it is not 100% cotton.

R2C2 let me clarify this a little bit.

I set up my IGO-L with a micro coil and cotton. THe micro coil is stable enough that when I goof and burn the cotton or even just want to change flavors I can yank the cotton out of the coil leaving the coil in place. Dry burn the empty coil. Then just insert fresh cotton. You do NOT have to make a new coil every time. Some of my coils are pushing 2 months old now.

THe following video shows the basics of a micro coil and inserting the cotton. NOTE: I do not use the jig. I just wrap around a blunt syringe needle. ALso this setup works just as good on the IGO as it does on the RM2.

Yep! Same here. Just pull the cotton and rewick. No muss, no fuss. I've never used anything but cotton in my IGO-W.
