Sounds like you did great with your sale! Congrats! Can you leave just a couple of items in the fasttech warehouse just in case? (In case of WHAT, I don't know.)
Somebody beat me to it. I don't know whether to wait until it is restocked, or just place my order and exhaust their inventory before it is even there.

I don't know if any of you have ever gone to the I fix it web site for one of their teardowns. They take apart all the latest electronic stuff. After the teardown they assign a repairability score from 1 to 10. 1 being the worst and 10 the best. I hereby assign the HANA dna 30 a -5. Going to take all day to get this thing apart. The main board is almost guaranteed not to survive.

This fine print is a not so subtle reminder to always read the fine print before signing anything.

Hot melt glue melts around 250F. Put the whole thing in an oven at 275F and let the glue drain out. That's what I'd try, anyway.

...

Now, my question is, what would you call a group of senior vapers? Maybe a porch of vapers?
bad-idea.gif
Actually, that is a good idea to get behind, but we should expand it to mean any group of vapers.
"Look over there, it's a whole PORCH of vapers!!!

Don't really have trick or treat in most places of Australia.
The supermarkets only started to sell the Halloween style pumpkins recently.
Some people get in the spirit but its not as wide spread as in the USA.

Um... More widespread is a bit of an understatement. It has been slowing down the past 10 years or so, but Halloween is almost as big as some religious holidays here.

This would depend on what specific flavor you wanted to use. If you found that a particular flavor was good at 10%, that would be convenient because then you could use 3ml of it to make your 30ml total. Bear in mind that if you're using more than one flavor, you probably want to keep the TOTAL percentage of flavoring the same as if you were using just one flavor.

But with some of the TFA flavors, including all of the tobacco flavors, 10% is likely to be too much. With the TFA Tobacco Absolute flavor, even 1% might be too much.

Welcome. What did you replace the Vuse with?

I don't know if this will help but I find this method helps keeps my head somewhat in place:

A= total amount of juice, in ml, that you want to make.
B= number of mg/ml of nicotine that you want in the final juice.
C= number of mg/ml of nicotine in your nicotine base.

Multiply A times B, then divide by C. That will yield the number of ml of nicotine base to use.

For me it was kind of a no brainer. Since I like my juice at a 50/50 mix, I got the VG and PG already mixed at 50/50 and 100mg strength of nic in a 50/50 base an extra 250ml of VG. I just use the ejuicemeup calculator I have 5 favorite flavors and all the flavors are PG based and I make them in 100ml bottles. Use the calculator and say you want 12mg strength it takes 12ml of nic your VG PG mix and then add VG to equal the amount of flavor you have used. It works pretty easy unless your wife starts talking to you in the middle of a mix.. I've had to dump out about 100ml total because I got mixed up which doesn't take too much to do

If I don't ask I'll never know. What is the definition of a "Genny type" (which I presume is Genesis type, but that doesn't help me) RBA, and what makes that different from other types?

The "Genny type" (Genesis / RBA) have the wick above the deck with the wick going down into the tank. Wicking action gets the juice to the coil.

The current most popular is the vacuum tank (RTA) atomizer like the Kayfuns/Taifuns/Russians. The wick is inside a camber and vacuum pressure draws the juice through channels to the wick/coil.

Just listened to a radio program about vaping here in Perth.
Two points they bring up is
1) Worried that companies are promoting 0% nicotine liquids to young people. (shops in Australia can't sell e-liquids that contain nicotine but you can import it from other countries) fruit and sweet e liquids to be enticing.

2) People may take up Vaping and Smoking at the same time. Vaping may be a gateway to smoking.

First talkback caller - Hi I'm a guy who smoked for 13 years and I vape and have been smoke free for 8 months.

Next caller - I have saved $200 a week since vaping.
Next caller - That guy you had on said the studies MIGHT support these claims.
Next caller - Went to Spain and I have seen 8-10 yr old kids buying Vaping juice (fruit flavoured no nicotine) from vending machines.

Hi PapaSloth and returning Doctors and everyone.

Still Wondering on the kayfun clone I got on the bottom the middle screw , is that some battery pin adjustment ?
Is it best to leave it alone ? As I read that someone turned it with s screwdriver and it shorted when they fired it up because the positive block touched the negative block.

Can I ask out of curiosity If you got or built a coil at say 1.5 ohms then after a week of use what would you expect that coils ohm reading to be , same - lower - higher ?
It goes higher. If it goes a lot higher, change it, because it is about to go 9.9.

Ethyl alcohol, you'll want to give it a really good shake after its mixed, and then let it sit overnight with the cap off to let the alcohol evaporate. Some people put the bottle in a hot water bath, or an ultrasonic cleaner with hot water, or zap it in the microwave for 10 seconds to speed the process. I just leave the top off overnight.

Natural vs. artificial, I don't care about. I care about whether I like the taste or not. I prefer some natural flavors and some artificial flavors. YMMV.

Be wary of that microwave, do not put plastic bottles full of 50/50 in one! When I first started DIY over a year ago, I did that. I was watching through the door and at about 6-7 seconds the liquid started vaporizing rapidly and the bottle melted into a heap before I could get the door open. Microwave was full of vapor, melted plastic, and HOT e-liquid.

I am counting my money from my sale, just built a vertical coil for my Orchid, having a thank you competition with my customers, and contemplating buying out fastech's warehouse. The vertical on the Orchid was a PITA, but a vaper's dream.

Gee thanks :) Now I gotta go search yootoob for Kayfun vertical builds.

Still looking for my "vaper's dream", just not as fervently as last week. :D

While I find I do prefer my KFs, I also agree that the customized PTs provide a good - and simple - vape, when properly rebuilt. But I like my Davide's slightly more, also in bottom single coil mode, just because the hold slightly more :)

And leaving a "pack" everywhere you used to leave a pack... I think I'd have too hard a time keeping track of battery state  And since I'm still a flavor junkie, I'd be wandering around looking for the one that has the flavor I want at the moment... 'Course, I never used to leave my smokes lying around, always in my pocket - whether or not I wanted to actually smoke one at any given time was irrelevant - I HAD to have them on me...

And it all does come back to the critical point - having the setup / gear / routine that keeps us from smoking! :toast:

Au contraire mon frere, I meant the opposite :p... whittling down to just one main PV per day to fiddle with, and instead of keeping it on my person or in my hand all the time, just set it aside wherever I'm at and stop for an occasional vape break, much like I used to smoke. When I smoked I only kept one open pack at a time, and rarely kept it in my pocket.

Amazon is really starting to become a U.S. Fastech
Amazon.com: K1000 E-pipe Style Electronic Cigarette EU Plug: Health & Personal Care

with all the items you listed.. yeah.. time to find what works for you. :)

Welcome!!!

Right. I kept trying new stuff and got no more satisfaction from them than my good ol' PT2s.

Then before I realized it I had 8-10 "active" toppers, all different, using every Mod and battery I have... just came to be too much hassle to keep up with it all.

Early last Saturday morning, I washed and stored everything except 2 PT2s and the 3D/Nemesis hybrid.

Then I changed my attitude too. I don't "feel the need" to have one within reach all the time now. In fact, right now I've been in the kitchen end of the house for over an hour without one, my three "active" PVs are in the other end of the house where they live. It's liberating

I am well on my way to simplifying my vaping experience, too. I am going to buy four Orchids, which will give me six RTA's. Alternating two complementary flavors between the RTA's, and having six secondary devices with a flavor in each, will give me satisfaction. Twelve flavors available, with another six in ready reserve, is a far cry from the nearly forty flavors available that I just had a few months ago. I might just send my customer for the clearos some more, as she is at the stage I was at then. Only the second shipment will have coils, as I will not need as big of a coil reserve.

RTA verticals are easy on a kayfun/russian. Not so easy on an Orchid.

Not out of the ordinary to have it increase slightly (sometimes even go down). But any significant deviations means you should check all your connections.

Wow - made that look easy. Thanks for the post.

The bottom screw does hold the positive block, and makes that connection to the battery. If you have a dual air intake model, and can't see daylight when looking through it, you may want to slightly turn the screw, since you're not getting full air flow with it that way.

As long as you hold the positive block, so it doesn't turn on you, it's not a problem. Of course, you don't want it loose... And you want to do it with the KF opened up so you can see!
