Time for our daily edition of educate Deb. I always thought a microcoil was a subohm coil. So what is it? Just a coil with a smaller than 2mm ID (assuming as I am that ID stands for interior diameter...is that right)
Here's a thread discussing the topic. The short version is that these terms are loose, and there's no fixed ID (yes, that's inner diameter) for any particular size. From smallest to largest: nano, micro, macro. If you really wanted to be technical, a micro coil would be a millionth the size of a regular coil, and a nano coil would be a billionth the size. Obviously, no one is capable of building coils that small. So, they just mean really small, small, and larger than a really small coil.
Never use those words in that particular order!
