as soon as I see a thread go off kilter, I will read no further. as far as "my device is better than your device" goes, it has my permission to go. ;)
once I finally get my 3D printer, I plan on seeing if I can print a squonk-switch to make the squonking easier. should be easy enough to do.
I hear you! I believe in whatever keeps you happy and off smokes. I don't like to see bashing of anyone's equipment preferences. I love my Reos, Pekos, Sumpin if I could afford one, same with TMod. But others may not and that's really fine.
Ken, if you get a 3D printer, you can create the mod of your dreams!

Hi all, been reading a bunch here, but first time posting. I can answer your question. Yes the Cyclone will fit a standard Grand with the regular cap. It won't fit if you are running an AFC cap.

I got a $945 one for $299 on kickstarter... They hope to start sending them out by the end of this month. Thing averse has several vaping related 3D prints... I plan on modifying several to my taste. :)

The one I had trouble with I got from 101vapes, I don't think it's the vendor, I think it's the PO. All the vendor can do is put it in the mail. Where it goes from there is all PO. 101 told me that they had a bunch of stuff go through that PO in San Moreno, which was not the usual route for their stuff, but it was all gradually making it's way to it's destination.

I agree but I am sure the PO scans them in as soon as they receive them for priority mail because of the liability for the insurance. Mine didn't even scan in for 4 days after they said they shipped it.

Mine didn't either. It took 4 days to get from 101vape in Carlsbad, to San Moreno after 101 said it mailed. Then it disappeared for another 7 days. San Moreno is the black hole into which all vape mail going thru there disappears. It might pop up here or there only to disappear again & then arrive at your house. But no telling how long that could take.

Got my kanthal and KGD in today! My first coil was supposed to be 5 wraps but I actually did 6. Didn't want to waste it so I installed it anyway. Shows .7 Ohm on my iStick. I guess the wick is OK, vaping at 27 watts and not a single dry hit.

I wrapped it on a 2.0 mm rod, hoping a little larger diameter would let me use some more cotton compared to the stock coil. Seems to be working out great so far.

I wouldn't have had any idea where to start without this forum so thanks for the help!

My 18350 battery and ego to ego/510 adapter arrived today. LaVamitresse is happy at her reduced work-load, and has forgiven me. Actually, with two mods and five Orchids, I am completely happy, and don't foresee any more vape purchases for a long time to come. Hope that doesn't jinx me, and don't laugh.

If anyone can think of some name suggestions for my mech, LaVamitresse's companion, I would appreciate it.

I ordered the new fan/power source for my computer, besides. That ate deep into my budget, but work comes first.

.7 is good. I really kind of like 3mm with 26awg but 2.5 works well also. 27w would be a little hot for me, I like more around 20w with something like that or maybe a little less. That KGD is pretty easy to work with isn't it. I really like it.

I just finished a dual coil build for my Doge. It went pretty well for a first try. They don't look all that great but they're doing the job. The Steam Engine said 8 wraps on each came out to .5 Ohm and that's what it says on the mod. It's putting out the biggest clouds I've vaped so far.

I have a 3mm rod so I'll try wrapping on that next time.

In other news. Stress and everything else is catching up with me. I did the full blown insomnia thing again last night. So I am going to be an awful daughter in law and NOT do the drive today. I am going back to bed since I actually think I can sleep now.

Don't feel guilty. It's tough on the caregiver/support-giver too. You need to take care of yourself too.

Welcome to the porch. Looks like you avi and Deb's are ready for a vape-off at sundown. May the faster squonker win.

Welcome to the Front Porch Pwheeler. Pull up a rocker, prop your feet on the railing, kick back and join the coolest bunch of folks on ECF. Of course I could be a little biased.

Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime. I can't wait for summertime!

LaCafetiere? I sort of like that, since she is not fancified-- rather a plain Jane. Still not sold on it, though.

Call her Plain Jane. We had a wonderful dog many years ago that was a mixed poodle terrier something. People would ask us her breed, which we didn't know, so we called her PJ for Plain Jane. Now days she would be a designer dog. I see dogs on commercials that look like her all the time. How do you say Plain Jane in French?
