Ok, the torx are more or less a bushing. But the allens are set screws.

It's like a straight allen key and a handle, like a screwdriver. The handle can have a set screw in it so you can change the sizes. I have several small ones for my attys. The hex seems to hold better than the Phillips for them. JMHO What are you trying to do Deb? Put a handle on one?

So glad you're lovin your Reos. Wow #3 already.....you go girl!! lol Yeah I was basically just trying to get a good handle on em. Saw Russ (sxmxdrifter) doing it that way in some vids, and kinda liked it. Kay sent me one of those middle spinny screwdrivers, and I love that thing! Had only just picked one up before and thought, wow, that looks flimsy and silly. lol But once I used it I loved it!! (yes I'm easily amused)

I've seen the big ones with set screws, but mine are not that way... they're just 3/8 drive tho.

Now that's a TRACTOR right there! Is that a belly mower, or tiller, or some other implement? (can't see it very well)

added: You likely use the eyebolt end in the crankshaft slots. Glad you added that part. I've seen 'em with a bolt-head "knob" on the front of the crank, and some with a "cup" with slots, but not one you could put a nut into and get any traction.

Yeah, a 3-blade 5' belly mower with hydraulic lift. I do love that tractor and it's been remarkably resilient, responding to my intuitive but non-expert repairs every time so far. I've owned it for 20 years now.

One rear tire was bought new online about 12 years ago. I had a heck of a time finding a place to remove the old decayed tire and mount the new one... just too big for their equipment, even though they did tractor trailer tires every day. But finally, a guy at Carolina Tire wrestled it into submission.

I believe I've replaced not only the two front tires but the front wheels as well. The freshness and color incongruity of the paint on the front hubs certainly seems to indicate that is true. There was a time when I'd get home from work and spend several hours on stuff outside the house but those days are becoming increasingly faded in my memories. (I was born to retire... love it!)

Yes, I now remember that I still had the faded red front rims around for a while. In fact, I used one of them to mark the burial spot of my last pet, Sugar, who died in Sept 2012.

I've also had to replace the push-rods, after I bent a bunch of them when I dropped the cylinder head on the ground in the course of replacing the head gasket. Found the push-rods in an online tractor junkyard, fairly cheap. I added a headlight, visible just ahead of the 4 x 4 carport post.

Gave it a half-azzed paint job maybe 15 years ago, which improved the appearance greatly, not that it's a thing of beauty.

The reason I sometimes have to turn the engine by hand is that there are several stripped teeth on the flywheel/starter gear.

Here's Sugar, camped out on my knee as I sat at the computer, just 5 months before she died at 18.5 years of age. She was born in my house and died in my house.Sugar20120412.jpg

Oh, and to add vaping-related content, I made this joose yesterday and it is excellent:

lol well stop it fer a minute, and tell me please..... can I cut off the hangy down part on a allen key and stick it in the pin vise?

I used all my new terms on a nudder thread a bit ago and was so proud of me! lol

hangy down part... hehehe... weminz... hehe

I don't see why you couldn't cut off the hangy down part and use it that way, if the Allen key is small enough to fit into one of the 4 chucks on the "swively handle" thingy you linked.

hehehe

p.s. I cut off the hangy down part of an Allen key once, and made an egg-shaped "bulb" on one end with JB Weld... makes it a lot easier to take off the barrel of a 10/22.

If you hold the key securely in a locking wrench, you can use a dremel.
You can save a bit by cutting off both sides of the elbow and have TWO to use in the pin vise.

Hi all, been over in Reoville for a bit learning all about them (and I have Deb to thank for showing me the actual path :D) I have wanted to try them and now I have. She gave me the push. I'm pretty hooked on them, just ordered a 3rd. Well built, small, simple and they just work, coil, a bit of wick, squonk, vape. Life just got a lot simpler. I have seen a few folks from here over there. The Woodvil sale is sorta soon and Rob is coming out with some hot resin designs. I am stickin' with the plain aluminum for now with work and all. Maybe next year for a Woodvil when I hopefully retire.

So welcome all new folks, the more the merrier. :toast: I have some KFL's and Lemo's I'd like pay forward, is there anyplace to post these, I don't really want to sell them, they were good to me. But I would gladly send them on to someone new that's maybe just getting started with KF's and the Lemo's a good atty that's pretty easy to build. I'm not getting rid of all of them but a few can go.

So hi all and now I have dogs to groom
Sent you a PM AllPepperS. :)

A one-flavor joose I made just 5 hours ago and which is great-tasting to me. I'll admit I'm easy to please, and that I'm glad that's the case. Good thing I like it, since I have another 112ml of the TFA Apricot flavoring. My plan at the moment is to eventually deplete my flavorings menagerie until all I'm using is bulk sizes of TFA flavors.

#48
20150323 2pm
8ml TFA Apricot
41.67ml MFS 48mg/ml nic in 65/35 PG/VG
28.33ml MBV 65/35 PG/VG unflavored no-nic
22ml ED VG
Yield 100ml of joose with 20mg/ml of nic, 53.5%/46.5% PG/VG, 8.0% flavoring

I have a question for you seasoned folk. I have several Kanger T3s that I have managed to loose the top o ring on the base. The base has 2 orings, one on the bottom of the threads and one at the top that sits right below the coil assembly. Anyone have any idea what size and/or where to get replacements? Any help mucho appreciated.

I don't think I'll be much of a gear hound. iSticks and an Atlantis / Subtank are good enough for me. Most of my money goes into other hobbies. I probably do spend too much trying juices though!

More stuff came today. Lemo Drop and a Steamboat.

BTW, the RDA took 5 business days from Carlsbad, CA to Mid TN. I don't think there is any doubt that the Steamboat is much faster than the Tugboat.

Deb - not sure if something like this would be easier for you to hold then a regular allen key. But they do make T-Handle Allen Keys too.

Here she is. Ain't she purty!?

There's a PIF thread, here's the link. Just be sure to read the rules for PIF'ing before posting.

.7 Ohm single coil in the Steamboat is really putting out some big Vanilla Clouds. The stock coil in the Lemo reads 1.1 Ohm and it's going good, too. I've had a hard time getting the Subtank Mini to wick juice but not this Lemo. Matter of fact, I forgot to put any juice at all directly on the wick. I just gave it a few primer puffs and started chain vaping on it. No dry hits at all. Slots sent me some rayon that I'm hoping will work better for me in the Sub Mini. Real happy with these two atomizers I got today.

Rayon seems to be working well in the Sub Mini RBA. Chain vaping some Smurf Cake at 25 watts. I've been let down too many times to declare victory yet but this is encouraging. And tasty. :vapor:

Yes we were. And it was on topic too. Many RDAs need the use of the Allen Key, and many of us older folk find using the key as is a bit hard.

So true about both, Ken. Good friends (and dog people I kinda know in real life!, not that this is not real), and help for seasoned hands, minds and such. I wish I had joined y'all 2 years ago!
