The ECF survey didn't much allow for mixing your own liquid. I assumed that making my own out of ingredients on had counted as "black market or gray market" if flavored liquids were made illegal. Of course I kind of assumed the same for having a planned stash of hardware. ;)

I just put down "DIY" for all of those boxes.

Jup same here. some of em ya gotta figure out what they want and go from there. I did the same with the one about if you could only get closed non refillable systems what would you do. Black market worked. There wasn't an option for "I already don't trust you and setting myself up so you can't take away my vaping or make me vape the crap you want me to vape" lol

I figured they did not want to go into DIY to much so was not expecting much more than what they asked on the subject. I know I would figure out a way to add flavoring even on closed systems. My cousin uses those N-Joy things and I taught her how to refill them with juice - you can get a few refills out of them before they finally die...

Kenna, you win the prize for the best solution! At least out of all of them that's the one I'd want to try first.

Got an email from ECF today to take their annual survey, for real this time. You have a chance to win a $500 gift certificate or one of the two $250 dollar ones. Would have done it for free of course. Now that I've taken it it won't let me back in to post the link. :glare: If you took it last year, check your email, it should be in there if you gave them your email addy. Quick and easy unless you are trying to them you DIY.

Where is everybody? :tumble:

My thinker thunk that up all by itself!

I took the survey, too.

Who was it that was widening the channels on a KF with a Dremel & a diamond bit? Was it Sloth? I need to do that. Have one that the channels just barely show when I put the chamber for the chimney on the base & look into it. I think my other one shows a little more. I'll have to compare them when I get them both apart at the same time again.

Busardo put out a new review on The Rose. He actually said it has better flavor then the KF V4 if you get the right build in it which looks like a pain in the .... plus you have to pay $195 for it. Sheesh

Um, imo, for that price it ought to coil and wick itself. On demand and to user specs! Can't see it being $150 better than an EhPro KF2...

I think it was Sloth. And one of these in a Dremel, laid into the slot to open it up will work well

We are half way to Front Porch #4 already.

"Mix my own juices" What is that? Does not compute.

BZZZT.

0mg, guess your computer is fixed, you stole my survey screen grab.

Yeah I put black market where it was an option. On the one where they asked what flavor and maker juice, I put TFA flavoring. My answers were honest but wish I’d second guessed the way the juice thing was presented.

My vote is with Sloth too. He was talking to someone about how to do it. Matt or Mike perhaps?

You know what I did get a good pointer from Busardo that I'd never seen before. You know how a lot of time you put a new coil in and it doesn't heat consistently from the inside out. What he showed was in the review of the rose. You install the coil assuming you have a good coil that has been wrapped on a coil master or some such you just heat it up in the device let off the button then scrape the flathead part of the screwdriiver that comes with most device accross the coil one way then the other and voila you have a perfectly heating coil. Amazing. I've never seen that done and it worked perfectly
