That is why they call it practicing medicine...

Since I have been vaping - my lung capacity has increased by over 18%. I can now go up and down the stairs several times without huffing and puffing (when my legs allow it of course). And while this probably not related to vaping, but could be - I now require minimal anit-allergy meds...

I've seen a number of people say that about their allergies. My allergies are so severe here though, it's impossible to tell on a daily basis. When I leave here, or go into a filtered air environment, it's all but gone.

My breathing has improved dramatically too, and that's with the allergy induced asthma. It infuriates me how vaping is vilified causing who knows how many people to never give it a chance.

I think the author 0mg linked to was cautioning 'bout improper, and possibly indiscriminate, use of non-certified canine 'evidence' in convicting innocent individuals without any conclusive supportive data & documentation.

Once we reach the point of relying upon a four legged creature to determine our freedom, or lack thereof, we've gone waaay to far without contributing supportive and conclusive evidence!!! Being an avid supporter of the multiple and remarkable abilities of animal capabilities (i.e. pre-seizure alerts, cancer 'detection', mine finding rodents, etc), I can, and do, appreciate their benefits. But yet fear the resultant legal implications and consequences at this point!

How 'bout we do a dog trainer vs. child rearing parent comparison... OK, maybe not, due to emotional 50 shades of 'gray'.

The below quote should scare the crap outta any freedom loving (and especially innocent) individual:

<quoted from article>
"Q. Do you keep records as to the effectiveness of your dog?"
"A. Yes, sir, I do."
"Q. Do you know how often your dog gives false positives?"
"A. He doesn't give any false positives. We're just unable to verify the alerts at the time."

... aka "My baby would never do that!"

Catch ya'll later... chow time...

Well said, point taken. I don't think the dog should have the last word either but is that the only evidence in that case? If so, he has excellent cause for appeal. The problem isn't the dogs, it is how they are used. If I missed any positive points about the dogs, my bad and I apologize. It's just that is struck me the same as any ANTZ article does, all negative stuff cherry picked for greatest impact according to the author's agenda. I think I've lost my apatite for agenda articles since I began vaping. They are probably training nic dogs in Indiana as we speak.

Enjoy your dinner, what are we having? You are going to share, right? :)

We all share our food at the hangout. Would be nice if you could join us. At least you can watch and listen. I don't have sound, but some do chat relay for me. I don't talk when there are several there, because it tends to disrupt the conversation.

Thank you, Omg! I'll try to get in there tomorrow night, it's chaos here right now. You don't have sound? That really, really sucks.

You have got to watch this video. It is on ECF.

Overall, it's been an ok day... No rain, so no fabulous thunderstorms, but still ok since I got something to play with.

:D Went to the doctor today :D

Been having horrific problems with a cholesterol drug. The worst and diminishing one was heartburn or something similar to it. Never, ever had that problem before, the pain was excruciating so I quit taking the pill. Feel way better but thought the doctor should be aware. Doctor thinks I have heart problems. I told him I don't (had tests, yadda, yadda, heart's fine). Made me take an EKG. :( Doctor was completely confounded that this EKG is better than the last (when I was switching from heavy smoking to vaping). He gave me antacids. :D My BP has also dropped down in to the 120s after going back onto a little nic. :D It was over 180 after quitting the nic. He has the only German Shepherd worse than El Whacko that I know of. :sneaky: Doc showed me a picture of what was left of his office chair after Tex ate it. Last time we were there, Tex ate his computer cable. :w00t: Tex makes El Whacko look like a saint. ;) It was a good day plus it's raining out! :rickroll:

Good thoughts coming for you to get through this quickly. Yikes!

Well, Patty and I had two of da last four Keys' lobster tails I found in da bottom of da freezer today! Thought I was completely out as of Jan.

I absolutely luv, and very often use, my FoodSaver vac sealer. After being vac sealed fer near three years, da tails tasted like I had just plucked 'em from da emerald salt waters off Big Pine Key!

Was gonna have da pair o' tails for our 46th wedding anniversary on da 17th, but decided to give myself a break and threat Patty to whatever and where ever she wants that special celebratory day.

As an aside, did ya know dat pheathered phlamingos mainly eat shrimp & crabs? Well, at least ya used to know dat...

As fer sharing, since I didn't get any Key Lime Pie da other evening...

OK, headin' over to visit Deba in da hangout. C'ya'll later...

ETA: I don't have near as much of da muscular aches and pain since I stopped taking my prescribed cholesterol drug. Good luck, me lady!

I'm with MIke on the V4. I think Legs has at least one of them, though :)

actually, while it DOES have many parts, there are very few you have to worry about.
There is a juice flow ring on the bottom I have to get used to.
There is an airflow screw accessible only when you remove the 510 screw... Adjust once and forget.
The tank comes apart in 3 sections... But you close the juice flow, and unscrew the mouthpiece connector, fill, screw back on and open the juice flow... And vape.
That's all you have to worry about. Three pieces/parts, and one of them is set and forget.
If you want to rebuild, you close the juice flow and remove the bottom and it lifts out.. Juice stays in the tank.

Tutu, hope you get it worked out. That does not sound good. Getting meds right is tough sometimes but seems like we all go through it and the tweaking process.

With all this talk about statins and muscle aches I have been doing some research. I go for my yearly checkup in 3 weeks and I am going to question my Dr about this. He has had me on prevastatin for several years although my total cholesterol is borderline and of that my HDL is off the charts good. Makes me wonder about some of these aches and pains I just thought were old age and osteoporosis. I am in good shape, exercise, correct weight (well, on the thin side but good shape) so now you all have me thinking. My Terv breeder friend is an RN, she also suggested to stay away from statins. Makes me question this Dr...

From what I've read on ECF, there's really not a big difference in the vape between it and say a V2/Light/3.1, which remain relatively bullet proof in their simplicity. Although that last is kinda nice :)

I'm sorry I asked but would have shared the pie if you asked. Semi was a day late and it was gone by then.

Now that is shiny purddy! My guess is the green one broke in transit. Hope it was the pink one though.

Thanks for the well wishes everybody but when I quit taking the statin, most everything wrong righted itself quickly. The acid reflux or whatever is fading but not gone.

The reason I brought it up on the Front Porch is because I've had a string of problems that the doctors all pinned on me having been a smoker. Two artery blockages, both in previously injured areas and surgically repaired. The doctors told me they were, "100% caused because you smoked." Guess what, turns out they weren't. The high cholesterol turns out to be hereditary and since I have no family medical history, it took them a while to figure that out. The smoking certainly didn't help, but it didn't cause the problems. "Smoking caused it," is an easy medical excuse to avoid getting to the root of the problem. That's why I shared it here. That and how my improving health since quitting smoking by vaping is confounded my regular doctor who is a great guy and (usually) does listen to what his patients tell him.

Lost another quote and will have to find it later.

Ken, I'm with MikeE3, that's a V4. I have one but don't use it. Too many parts and I found it to be VERY fiddly. I have 6 or 7 Kayfun Lite + and love them. Just about all I use. Simple to coil/wick, easy to clean and easy to fix/maintain. :2c::)
