To me rayon is just so much cleaner tasting than cotton. I always got some kind of an aftertaste from cotton.
Once you get the wicking part figured out, you'll never look back.
Rayon you want to be tucked into the coil as snug as possible (unlike cotton) because it does not expand when it gets wet.
Yes. Sally's is where most people get their rayon
Actually i get no aftertaste with the sally salon coil cotton which i use.

Same thing happening here, Thought it was on my end. Guess not.
when yiddle was complaining about it in the hangout with me, I wasn't having issues, but then a bit ago I was having bad issues with it, but seems to have cleared for me now.

My experiment with light flavoring seems to be working with the headache problem. Tomorrow should tell for sure.

Have you tried Unflavored ? Since my Vapors Fatigue I'm been using the Mt. Bakers 80-20 and 50-50 6mg and it's helping. Suprized me, I seem to have a preference for it now. Might help with your headaches also ?

calling @0mg Meniere come in mary..... (or anyone else for that matter)

which brand of black tea do you use? TFA or something else. Have you ever tried, Flavour Arts black tea, or heard about it?

I tried a couple of different black teas, and flavour art was my favorite (once I figured out to use it at a very low percentage) but I don't remember the runners-up, and of course all of my notes are on the computer at home.

No 404's for awhile here but, when I post a reply it takes about 15 sec. to register, very slow.

Everybody, FT now sells glow in the dark silicone sleeves for the istick 20s & 50s. I suppose the 30s will be coming soon. Link to the sky blue 20 $1.42 Glowing Protective Silicone Sleeve for Eleaf iStick 20W VV/VW Mod - sky blue at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
A sleeve that fits the 20 will also fit the 30. They're identical in size. Other places that sell sleeves and cases for them list them as being for both models.

Busardo was a noob with using rayon when he made this comparison video. And based his opinion on whether cotton or rayon was better by what 'felt' good to him using. Rayon was still relatively new on the scence and I think he was still unsure if it was as 'safe' as cotton. Well that's surely been put to rest. Interesting to know what he thinks about rayon now.
Busardo had nothing bad at all to say about rayon in that video. He thought it lasted longer than KGD, but gave a tiny edge to KGD because, as he said at the time, he felt more comfortable with KGD because it was natural rather than man-made. He acknowledged that this was just a psychological factor and that he did not know if KGD was safer than rayon.

Things are back to normal for me. On a related subject, though, I fairly frequently get slow or phantom responses when I hit the "like" button. Sometimes I'll go through a page of posts and then realize later that my "likes" didn't take.

This has happened ever since we went to the new software. I haven't seen anyone else mention it so thought I would.

Thanks, David O, for saying you'd send me some rayon. Looking forward to trying it!

Got one of those coil jigs to try them out.
Its very good , one thing it helps with is being able to use less wire.
Normally have to cut off a long amount to be manageable to grip and wrap around a tool.
With this one I cut about half or so the normal amount of wire from the spool and wrapped the coils.

Oooo. Where did you get THAT coiler? I can tell it's an authentic one as opposed to my two knock-offs...

Sheesh Rayon is ok but afraid of nickel. No one was afraid of Camels. I have heard that rayon works better with nickel and I tried it once and didn't really see much diff. The wicking was a little harder then with KGD so I have stuck to that even though I have a 3 lifetime supply of Rayon. Might give it another try just for the heck of it next time I rewick one. I don't like the fact that it has to be so tight because the nickel coils are slightly fragile but not that bad really once you get used to them. I do like the fact that the cotton swells.

I don't 'taste' a significant difference or 'see a significant difference' in vapor production with rayon compared to cotton (KGD). BUT - I get longer life between rewicking using rayon. With cotton I was rewicking every week. With rayon its about 2 weeks.

So I use rayon in all my kanthal builds - but like you legs, I use cotton in nickel builds because I don't have to stuff so much rayon into the wick I'm likely to distort the soft nickel when threading it through.

@2legsshrt - So I'm revisiting my Kanger Sub-tank mini w/ the .2Ω nickel coils w/ a DNA40. 1st impression I like it better than their kanthal coils. I haven't used them since I got them a couple months ago and was using Kanthal coils, pre-made and DIY on the RBA head.

Temp is set at 410F and I started at 15watts and worked my way up to 35watts (much too much for me, just want to try it). Even at 35 watts firing the atty w/o drawing on it - I could hold the fire button down for 15 seconds and not hit temp protect. Seems the wick is doing a decent job providing fuel to the fire so to speak.

I like the vape better between 18-22 watts. I've been enjoying a nickel build on a KFL Lite .14Ω @ 14 watts. That's been my goto vape for the last number of weeks.

What the heck would I do with 4 gallons of ejuice fluids? I will not live long enough to use all of that. I have a gallon of tractor supply PG that I have just tested on to see if it was good to vape and it is.

But thanks for the tip.

Ummmm, maybe share with Washington and Michigan state vapers if their pols pass their ripoff legi$lative mandate$. Or how 'bout others that may not be as fortunate as others?

In order to avoid any confrontational phrases, I'll just say that I do believe in and will contribute to a vaping gray-market; since I'm 68 yy
