Touch the mouse and you die. :sneaky:

Problem with the PT is why I got the Davides. No leaks, completely disassembles. The only booger is not to lose the gaskets when you take them completely apart.

Try telling that to my cats :w00t:

Bells - just a curiosity question - have you tried different juices w/ rayon and get the same taste results. Some of my flavs tasted different but not an off taste - it was like the taste was coming through 'cleaner'.
One man's "off-taste" is another man's "cleaner taste". It's fairly clear that some people find any given wicking material to have a taste while others do not. To me, KGD is as clean-tasting as a wicking material can get, yet I know that some people find it to have an objectionable taste.

Yes, I've used the rayon with different flavors, but they're all fruit flavors because that's basically all I vape.

To me the kgd has a bit of flavor for the first few puffs after a wick change. And yes i let the wick get soaked.

Over on the Rayon thread, I remember JeremyR said that IF you get the Rayon alittle bit too tight then it has a Nutty Like flavor to it for a few hits, then it would go away and you'd get that clean flavor.

One of these days I'm going to go temperature-control exclusively, I think, simply because the concept of temperature limitation really seems to have sound reasoning behind it.

For the time being, I have possibly the least expensive temperature-control device, a Heatvape Invader Mini, which works well but has the limitation of not being able to go below 0.1 ohms with a nickel coil. The Invader is not the world's greatest device but it does have enough usability to satisfy my curiosity while I'm keeping up with the developments in temperature control devices.

It's my understanding, from Legs and others, that the ideal nickel coil, for the SX Mini anyway, is less than 0.1 ohms. Although I'm pretty sure I'd like the SX Mini, I'm not ready to invest that kind of money in purchasing one because the technology continues to develop by leaps and bounds as we speak, and I'm willing to wait on developments that various manufacturers say are on the verge of being released.

This just-released Phil Busardo video made the Joyetech eVic-VT somewhat tempting. I watched the entire 67 minute video and these days I consider spending that amount of time watching Phil Busardo videos to be time well spent. I'm going with Busardo's advice to just give it time rather than buying a Joyetech eVic-VT at this time.

Currently, I'm really really satisfied with 0.5- 0.6 ohm kanthal coils and KGD cotton in a pair of Kanger Subtank Plus delivery devices. I use them at from 12 to 15 watts, usually with the air control at the most wide-open setting. A 1.2 ohm coil is very good too, but a 0.5 ohm coil is great, to me.

The goal is 5336 signatures? That's kind of a strange number to set as a goal.

That may be a wise move - waiting on the eVic VT. In the VT thread many-many people are finding it working well for them - but quirks are being reported. I've got one coming - if TP mode doesn't work out for me, I'll consider it a replacement for the iStick 50 that went bad. Kanthal coils and the VT seem to be working OK.

It's actually a moving target, allowed by change.org. So yeah, could be 5336, or "half way" could be anticipating that as a new goal :)

It started at 100, when I signed on right after Lessifer. But sailed past that in the first half hour, I think. (Half hour = 33 minutes, right?:p)

I know it has been posted already, but could someone please post again how to delete a post that you have not posted? I have a friend who replied to the NETty Awards thread but then decided it was not the best post. She can't figure out how to delete the message (not actually posted yet).

Hey, did I POST this? LOL!

I can't help but be quite doubtful that the Innokin iTC will deliver what it promises, but I'm definitely interested if and when somebody comes out with a temperature-control device that works with kanthal as well as other wires. That's what Innokin is saying the iTC will be able to do.

For the time being, I'd feel pretty safe betting that Innokin has bitten off more than they can chew and that the device will not be ready for prime time when they release it.

These days, I tend to mix my DIY jooses with about 8% flavoring. A year and a half ago I was using 20-25%.

Today I felt like assaulting my taste buds more than my recent "usual" amount. I mixed up a 100ml batch of the following, with 16% flavoring. Simple but good, and helped me empty a couple of flavoring bottles that had only small amounts in them.

2.5% FA Orange
4.0% TFA Blueberry Wild flavor
4.0% TFA Orange Mandarin flavor
5.5% TFA Menthol flavor

I am quite comfortable now with just a trace of flavor.

When I was a kid, I could locate a dead mouse. LOL, maybe that is why I started smoking. Super-smellers also smell bad stuff, I have gotten aggressive on the mold.
