Yes I was a two pack a day smoker for 30 years. Started when I was a teenager, never was able to quit after that.

I have been smoke free for that year, for the most part. When I got sick from a summer cold that was going around I found vaping way too hard on my throat so I went back to smokes for a bit due to that, but right back to vaping once I was better.

A couple times I left the house without my stuff, and many people around me smoke so if I felt the urge and couldn't vape (cause I was an idiot who thought I would be home faster or some such thing!) then I would bum a smoke..

God it tastes so bad now though.. horrid. I am just not used to the taste anymore, and it is hard for me to smoke now just because of that.

I am planning on purchasing an istick30w with a nautilus mini.. figure that should work for me nicely!
That is a great set up! I.d get the 1.6 coils for the Mini to take advantage of that 30 watt Istick & the flavor the Mini provides. Delicious!

I never prime before installing. I install, cover the ait hole, give a few short but hard puffs to pull some juice into the wick to get it started wicking. Then just set it aside for a few minutes.
Just to illustrate differences in methodology (not to be critical of alternate methods) I ALWAYS thoroughly drench a coil and wick before installing.

Wahoooooooo!!!!!!!!! started to post this, then figgered I'd better check!

Lots of folks love the Istick, and the 30 is a good choice I think. Some have no issues with the 50, but others have had many issues with it. You may also wanna check out the Eleaf GS Air M or MS (ms is for shorty, just shorter than the other one) It's made for the Istick. I've never used one, but had I continued using tanks I would have tried that to see how it compared to the nautilus. I've never heard word one bad about them and TONS of folks just love them. Gracie (flowersoul) has used them and really likes them, so she could tell you about them.

Ahh, that is such a cool cake! Thank you so much! And thank you for those words of vaping advice, I will certainly look into that!

Cool.. that is what I will get then. I haven't given my credit card number for this purchase yet as I wanted to make sure of everything prior, but most of it is sitting ready in "check-out" :) I will add that!

I have been vaping for 1 year now. (Just a few days over that) I still don't understand all about it yet, most of what people say just plain goes right over my head! lol.. I got some recommendations when I decided to start as to what purchases to make, bought an ego, and went for it.

Just now had to replace that first battery.. I like sweet e-juice.. cheesecake is so my favorite but any dessert can be awesome.. and right now I am vaping 1 or so ml per day.

About to upgrade equipment and they say I will use more liquid at that point, but I am tired of consistently purchasing new clearomizers.. lol.. so it is what it is I guess.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I'm imagining that the technology for reasonably priced home 3D printers will keep improving, and eventually the possible resolution will be good enough to make drip tips. Or maybe the resolution is already sufficient?
The FDA has approved a 3-D printed pill already. Your Pill Is Printing: FDA Approves First 3-D-Printed Drug : The Two-Way : NPR
I'm 46 do I count as "Older Folks"?
You're a porcher now! And once you've joined, you can't ever unjoin. :D

Welcome Opinionated! You found one of the bestest threads on the forum, with the bestest people! (the other bestest thread is the other porch).

These are two very cool threads with some awesome people I must admit.. and so I think I found what porch I will sit on, when it comes to porch sitting time!

Darn, I do both....

My stock of single bottom coil clearos get the Kenna treatment. My true rebuildables get a few drops of my unflavored nic base (for me, it's 20mg nic, 70/30 PG/VG, giving me close to my preferred 18 after adding flavors :) ) I generally don't know for sure what flavor will go in.... so....

Welcome to the front porch, glad you found us.

The iStock 30 & Nauty is a nice combo for your next setup.

And congrats on 1 year of vaping.

Hello, @Opinionated, welcome to the porches. Congratulations on your 1 year Vapeversary. I'm like the other folks on here, I love spending other peoples money. Enjoy your upcoming vape mail. The Nautilus Mini was one of the tanks instrumental in getting me off of the analogs. I have now moved on to sub ohm with the Herakles and Subtank Mini and am dabbling with Temperature Control. You will also find that some of us DIY our own juices. I am hooked on Rumchata and just finished making a new recipe of it and like how it has turned out. It is now sitting on the shelf steeping until I use up what I have previously made.
