I think I am liking where this is headed! Went outside to have a cig after dinner. Lit the cig, had maybe two puffs. Forgot about it in the ashtray as I was vaping away. Earlier to day I went out for a cig after lunch, started vaping and forgot about the cig. This is getting good!!!

Congrats - Step 1 complete. Wait till you take those two puffs and they gag you because you can't believe you have been putting them nasty things into your mouth...

Am still confused as to why I keep finding what looks like liquid on the contact point of the battery. There is no liquid on the bottom of the coil that it touches. Thanks

That is probably just condensation. If it were a leaky tank there would be a lot more. You need to clean the threads of your tank & battery a couple of times a week with strong alcohol. Some use vodka for cleaning tanks & devices. Just put a little alcohol on a qtip, squeeze out the excess & run it around the thread. You'll see it come away black. That's condensation & oxidation from the heat & will cut down the connectivity where the tank & battery come together. Clean your tanks inside, too. Keep them clean so no bacteria can develop. Just trying to think of things to help you along.

Thanks Kenna. When I wipe the area that looks wet on battery contact and threads with qtip, I have noticed a blackened debris. Will do the alcohol thing. Thanks

Use the same coils, which I can barely see, lol. I really need new eyeballs. I put a drop of water on the KGD, twirl it into a thread and then stick it through. Let it dry out for a day and good to go.

I love my KGD. I think I have a lifetime supply so I don't need to skimp on it or be afraid of changing it too often.

Y'all I have successfully made my first juice. And it's a copy of the fruit flavor I finally found that I could vape. It's just blueberries & cream, but it takes about 5 flavorings to make it. The first try was good. I'm using the second try now & it's very good. I want to add one more kind of blueberry flavor & possibly one more cream. Then I'm going to take all that & try for a blueberry muffin, too. Then try the blackberry...&....&....& I'm a pretty happy vaper right now!

What happens if there's a momentary power outage during the printing? I get those fairly frequently. It's an absolute PITA when my satellite dish has to reboot, because it takes several minutes.

I wanted to ask any DIY'ers if when choosing flavoring, if there is any specific thing to look for in the flavor..

found this really cool flavor place.. don't know if in a flavoring though there are specific needs as this is food flavoring.

Someone got me thinking about alternative flavors since they said when they were drinking a nice red wine vaping just didn't go with it, and they ended up wanting a cigarette really bad.. so I was thinking of alternative flavors myself because there are times alternative flavors would be cool.. and advantageous..

I think the more experienced mixers will say NO to food flavorings. I'm still a neophyte in that area, but only get my flavors from known vape flavor suppliers...
