Wahoooo got a gallon each of pg and vg ordered from essential depot! Once it gets here...... I'll have everything I have to have to make some juicy juice. I still will WANT some flavorings, particularly apple pie and green apple, :) but will have all I must have. I do have a few flavorings that Rattytat sent me, so will get to try those. Definitely gonna try some of the koolada for my nephew and SIL. Can't wait to start playin! Now I need a mad scientist gif!! lol
careful with the koolada. It's not a flavoring, it's an effect!. The more you put in, the more the effect. 1-4 drops per 5ml, and it can feel cool.... More than that will actually choke your lungs. :)

When the fighting finally broke out in Saudi at the start of Desert Storm, my wife was in a unit that was on the frontlines. That morning I got up and had my first cup of coffee. I couldn't find the coffee pot for a second cup. I went to work and my boss took one look at me and told me to take at least a week off. I took my Goldwing and went to Las Vegas and spent the week with my father in law. When I got home I tore the house apart and finally found the coffee pot in the freezer.

Click on this...
That will take you to my photobucket account
Click the link to copy
Select which album you want it in and click to copy it
It will then be in your photobucket to use...
Or just use it from mine... I don't mind

I have two PVs that do this. They do it because you can get more vapor if you continue to suck in after the button is released.
Ken, that's exactly how I do it most of the time. The new version if Tapatalk automatically will upload to it's "imageshack" and post a link if you use the little camera icon. Click on the camera, go find the image and post is. Automatically uploads to "tapatalk.imageshack.com" and places a link in your post, I'm not sure if it does any converting in the process though. I'm also not at all sure if it's only part of the paid version or comes with the free as well. Also don't know how much storage space they give you. I'm willing to bet it converts most images to JPG and samples them down so that they are as small as possible while still looking reasonable. I get more impressed by Tapatalk the more I use it however, it's not as versatile as working from a PC or Mac.

Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime. I can't wait for summertime!

OK. I bought this kick for LittleJane. https://www.fasttech.com/p/1670801 I am usually happy with LaVamitresse at 10w. The kick is (supposedly) 15w. I turned it about 1/4 of the way down. The leg of the x which points to the five oçlock position at 15w is now at the two oçlock position. Is that about 10w? Since I am using LittleJane with a 18350 battery, if I had it turned all the way up to fifteen, I would be using the battery down faster. Even though the 18350 charges so fast, 15w is unnecessary. Ten should be my happy point, and where I have it set is ok, but should I go any lower?

I THINK I made myself understood----
The question is "do you like the vape when it's set the way you have it now?" If the answer is yes then it really doesn't matter what the exact wattage is. I don't think you can really tell what you have a kick set at based on looking at the numbers around the little knob/screw so I just set mine (when I use it) to around what I normally vape and don't sweat it.

Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime. I can't wait for summertime!

Hello my name is Dave and I'm interested in this thread. It was recommended to me by Hazy so I'm here to introduce myself. -Dave
Welcome to the front porch Dave. Always nice to have new folks. Pull up a chair, put your feet up and join the conversation. The front porch is supposed to be limited to vaping discussions only (we do get of the track a lot though) and the back porch for just random musings and stuff. I am sure somebody will post a link to the Back porch soon. I can't seem to figure out how to do it with the Tapatalk app I am using on my tablet and phone. We tend to be a nice bunch of helpful, non judgemental folks. Hope you'll like it here.

EDIT: As usual if had read ahead a few posts I would have noticed that Kenna posted the link to the Back porch. I also noticed that I was 107 posts behind on which I stand no chance of catching up so I just skipped ahead!

Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime. I can't wait for summertime!

Thanks Ken..........was gonna ask once I got ready to do it. Puttin this in my DIY notes.
Deb, If he's a menthol vaper you can order pure menthol crystals and dissolve them in PG to make a mentholated juice. Dimitri (PBusardo buddy) vapes mentholated green tea as his all day vape. If you use the crystals, use the resulting juice (crystals dissolved in Pg) very sparingly also. Quite strong.

Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime. I can't wait for summertime!

Still grading, but I have to get everything finished and file the final grades this weekend. Then, next week is a little lighter (ha), and by the end of the month/beginning of next month, I'll find out if I got hired for a permanent full-time position or not (I made it to the final round and have two 1 hour interviews with the Dean of Instruction and Campus Presidents next Tuesday). To be honest, if there was something between Adjunct Instructor and Full-time Instructor, that would be perfect, but my choices seem to be too much or too little. Isn't that always the way?

Good luck, Papa!

Pretty interesting video from Busardo put up on some of the clone factories number 4 in the series short comparitively.

So, only 45 minutes??

I still haven't seen anything on the SXmini M class. I did here it will work with nichrome wire. Don't know if that is true. Have seen it on pre order any where from 199-249. It sure is hush hush. I am half tempted to pre order it for 199 but if its a flop I really am not ready to throw away 200 bones. But If it is good I hate to pay 250 for it. I have never used nichrome and don't really know anything about it. I don't think it is as hard to work with as nickel but don't know if it will really work with it. No one really does. Varitube said it will be a nickel

It looks really sweet: SXmini M Class manufacturers,SXmini M Class exporters,SXmini M Class suppliers,SXmini M Class OEM service.

I think it has to use nichrome to have temp control function

Hi all, thanks for all of the warm welcomes. I was a duel vapor for about 2 years and on my 61st birthday I had my last analog. I had talked to a wonderfully helpful sales person at The Vapor Hut and upped the amount of nic in my juice and that has helped to get me off the analogs. I use their, The Vapor Hut's American Tobacco with 18mg of nic. I have also found a great tasting juice at Thunder Vapor called Cowboy Blend. Yes, I am sticking with tobacco flavors vice the sweet candy type juices. Just my personal preference. Thanks to the wonderful folks on here I have been analog free for over 3 weeks and no cravings for the nasties. Smell is coming back along with taste. It was all nice until the other day. I had to drive to El Reno and drove by a feed lot. Oh Man, I really wished the smell hadn't returned. lol I have found the back porch so I will see ya'll over there.:vapor:

Ok....it's time to play everyone's favorite game ...........

What Debadoo don't know!!!

is a hex key/wrench and an allen key/wrench the same thing?

Are grub screws the ones that have to top on them, and ..... do you use a hex/allen key/wrench on them??

Pretty sure these are the screwdrivers, where just the middle part turns with your fingers, instead of having to turn the whole screwdriver right? I have one of these and love it!

Assuming the answer to the above question is yes...... does this pin vise do the same thing? (tighten/loosen by spinnin the middle) and will it hold pretty much any size sumpthin ya put in it? at least most sizes that we would use

Thank you for you're cooperation in this matter! :D

Diver9543, welcome to the best thread on ECF, bar none. This place is better than Lake Wobegon... where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average.

is a hex key/wrench and an allen key/wrench the same thing?

Yes. It's like the difference between 'tissue' and 'Kleenex'. One is a generic term, the other is a trademarked term yet widely used. Both are six-sided drivers.

Are grub screws the ones that have to top on them, and ..... do you use a hex/allen key/wrench on them??

I think you meant 'no top' instead of 'to top'... so again yes, and yes. Grub screws are usually meant to be screwed in below the surface of whatever they're holding together, and hold by friction... and hex heads are about the only (best anyhoo) way to do that.

Pretty sure these are the screwdrivers, where just the middle part turns with your fingers, instead of having to turn the whole screwdriver right? I have one of these and love it!

ding ding ding... You're right again! However, I think you might need a set with even smaller phillips drivers to be able to fit some of the screws on some attys. The smallest in that set is #0... you might consider looking for a set that has at least a #00, maybe even a #000.

Assuming the answer to the above question is yes...... does this pin vise do the same thing? (tighten/loosen by spinnin the middle) and will it hold pretty much any size sumpthin ya put in it? at least most sizes that we would use

Yes, again (you're batting 1000 girl!) on the swivel head part.. the body turns, while you can put pressure on the head, which turns independently of the body. That little device is mostly used to hold drill bits, so it wouldn't really take the place of a swivel head driver though... unless you could find a driver set that is only a straight shaft with different driver ends on it.

Considering you were right on all counts, you should've titled this post:

What Debadoo don't DO know!!!

Happy shopping... i bet amazon loves you ~almost~ as much as they love me!!

Well Boys and Girls, I got me a healthy dose of Disdain yesterday.

Went to a B&M I'd never been to before, and lemme tell ya -- Given what I saw there, I can ~almost~ see the case for some kind of regulation... and believe me I am anti-big government to the CORE! I tell ya!

Clerks giving bad and dangerous advice to noobs. A back room -cum- eliquid mixing room, complete with raw plywood countertops and equipment laying haphazardly everywhere. And a sales floor with no exhaust ventilation whatsoever, so the place was a dense fog the whole time I was there. They had two types of eliquid, and the only difference between their 'house" brand and the 'dripper' line was the dripper line had 10% higher VG and 20% higher prices.

And don't even get me started on their prices for hardware.

The clerk that mostly stayed behind the counter was more interested in showing off and bragging on his 0.3Ω, dual coil, dual 18650, homemade mech box Fog Machine than he was in waiting on me (or anyone else for that matter)... and telling me he couldn't vape in his truck anymore 'cause -- one hit would fog the interior so bad he couldn't see. Hasn't this guy ever heard of "cracking the window" a little?

The juice testing attys were unorganized and scattered all over the main countertop... and they were all either Evods or Protank Minis, all flooded, with little vapor and very little if any taste -- and they gave me a drip tip condom and an almost dead eGo 650 for testing. At least half of the attys didn't make contact, so wouldn't even fire! And of the ones that did fire, at least half of them tasted just alike.... yucky. And no one that worked there even seemed to care!

One customer, a young "dude" with a pregnant wife in tow, kept talking up his 0.095Ω build (yes, the decimal is in the right place), and was driving it with yet another ratty looking homemade dual batt. box mod -- my teenage son could have made better solder joints!

I ~could~ go on.... but I won't....

Geez Louise...

Hex and Allan are different names for the same type of tool.

Grub screws are screws without a head. the threads go from the "insert" end to the "top" They can have lead portions that are not threaded, and are typically either pointed, or just smaller.
most grub screws have a Hex slot and use an Allen.

Swivel head screwdrivers allow for more precision because you don't have to change the "grip" for every turn.

a Pin vice looks like it works the same way, but it does not. the pin vice is for griping the OUTSIDE of something... like a precision drill, or pin.
here is a youtube for using it to twist beading wire:

OK, I'm going to disagree.

A hex wrench and an Allen wrench CAN be the same thing or they can be two entirely DIFFERENT things. "Hex wrench" is a phrase that should never be used, because it does not tell you whether its referring to a wrench that grabs the OUTSIDE surfaces of a six-sided bolt or nut, or a hex KEY that grabs the INSIDE surfaces. There are many types of hex wrenches that are not "hex keys" or "Allen keys" or "Allen wrenches".

Hex KEY = Allen KEY = Allen WRENCH.

But, a "hex wrench" is an imperfect description that does not give enough information to make clear the kind of tool to which it refers.
