We iz all different. :) I hate the nautilus.

I don't care for the nautilus much anymore, not because it doesn't work but after using the STmini for quite a while with the air flow it seems like work to vape the nautilus too damned tight for me anymore. I still love my KF K4 and I don't feel bad at all that I paid 189 for it still works as well as the day I bought it. Thats about as tight as I want in airflow though.

That's odd to me, legs. I find them too airy. With most of the air holes closed up so it's to my liking... then I start to get leaks.

my vaping has drastically changed over the last few months. I always preferred a tighter draw, more like a cig......the naughty was fine, even when I eventually tried the larger air holes and more watts, but now with the Reo and trying several atties, I'm finding I really prefer lung inhales and usually wide open air, or close to it. Never would have thought that a few months ago.

O.K. Only a month in, and my Silenus has gone wonky.
New battery, and it turns on just fine, then flashes 15 times to indicate that the battery is drained.
So....
Anyone know a good 18650 mod vv/vw with a floating pin in the 510/ego connector?

Tesla comes to mind if you need 15w or under...

(You can find em cheaper than that)

But have you tried changing tanks? Sometimes a bad tank will do just that.

That only the P3, legs? I don't seem to have a problem with the 2.5.

Yep I never have the problem with the 2 or 2.5. The P3 will show your battery is in bad shape will start flashing and stop working will quit the boost. You have to clean all of the threads and noalox them clean all contacts and spring and stretch the spring. The P3 has that IQ feature and it is real tempermental about it once you clean everything with alcohol and put the noalox on all threads even the ones you don't use all the contacts and spring with alcohol and make sure that spring is really pushing against the battery then it works perfectly. It will give you a low battery at 3.7v when it needs it, cleaning that is.Another reason I prefer the SX it always works perfectly.

I LOVE the Terv puppy! Soooo cute. Thanks FT! Pups I am helping with are wobbly walking and eyes should open any day (2 weeks old today).

Soon to be hell raisers on four paws. :)

Meh. $39 SVD2 beats it by a mile IMO.

Do they hold up well over the years? Just curious. Happy with I have but hears a lot people buying something then tossing it on down the line because something in it broke.

Awesome (whatever ya call them things) tutu!! dunno what they're called when it's a mini video, but it was great!

Howdy y'all. Put this on the BP too.......news about ECF moving to new software next week.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...3-moving-new-forum-software.html#post15591054

hope it's a great thing with a minimum of growing pains. But at least it seems it will help ECF stay "on the air" so to speak! And that's a great thing.

Last time they messed with it I was posting in the past, everything showing up pages in the past. That was weird. I really hope this is a smooth transition.

semi,

I referred ya in this THREAD. Hope ya don't mind...

Too late now if he does object.

SVD2 hasn't been out long enough for that kind of report, FT. But it is well made, has a custom DNA20, and Innokin products usually hold up well.

Yes, the original SVD had some button issues - mine lost it's click about 3 months in, but is still a well used member of my stable at 1 1/2 years old.

Howdy Ms Tutu!! How ya doin hun?

Hi Deb! :D Hanging in there. I think they may have finally fixed the internet problems so I feel kinda like I’ve rejoined the living. Weird when you have no idea how the world is going without TV, radio or internet. All we get is internet and when that’s down it’s like being in a vacuum.

I haven’t seen Little Bird in a while. Is she doing okay?

Thank you for your reply David. Couple of years ago I knew just about all the equipment out there, today I've never heard about most of it. Bought my first ProVari because Baditude never stopped talking about how great they were--reliable, fixable and a great vape--and I was worried about the FDA. Today we are worried about everybody from local government to the feds. Not sorry for a minute that I got the ProVaris but know they aren't for everyone. I envy you guys who like to try new things and tinker but so far that hasn't been for me. Aside from money, I'm not sure why I'm not attracted to it. I see lots of shiny stuff that makes my jaw drop, yet I'm rarely tempted to try any of it.

LOL, I like that one! I'm sure he's fine with it. I asked him if he'd post on another thread that person put up and he wrote some very good advice for him.

Wish I knew........pm'd her bout a week ago, she replied back that she just needed a break, but I miss her and hope she's doin ok.

Hope they do have the net issue fixed!! I didn't have any TV for a long time......and when the net went down it was really bad. Plus we were having a lot of fires all around us in every direction at the time........told everyone, if it heads my way someone needs to call me!! lol

Yipes Ken, that stinks! tube or box, or does it matter?

Tesla comes to mind if you need 15w or under...

it does it without even an atomizer on it. Really sucks because I love that springy positive post. Keeps my atomizers from having the positive jammed up so they don't work anymore.
I'm flexable on tube or box...

edit
just looked at the testla. It is only vv and does not have the floating pin. Will keep looking at the video, but nothing in the description about watts or pins

Ok... It has v watt too

I really hope she is doing well too. I know she was going through some medical stuff and have been concerned about her.

Oh yeah, been there with the fire stuff. Fires get going, the power goes off and it's ohhhhh ....! We do have a battery backedup scanner but it doesn't get vape mail tracking updates. Somebody should invent a vape mail tracker. Maybe that's what smart phones are for.

So....
Anyone know a good 18650 mod vv/vw with a floating pin in the 510/ego connector?

Good Sunday Morning to all.

I was going to check in and review https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10012717/2204701-authentic-smowell-dpv-50-variable-wattage-vw-apv so this is good timing.

I don't know if sub ohm vaping is for me but I wanted something to help me fiddle with the concept. I have built a Fogger with one coil @ 0.9 ohms and I couldn't get the power low enough to cool the vapor enough.

Anyhoo: the Smowell DPV 50 is a small, light weight "box" mod. It is VW only but it tells you the voltage at each setting. The fit and finish are excellent. It has a 510 fitting with a floating (looks like) copper center pin. Uses one 18650 battery that loads via a bottom door that is screwed on (with itty bitty screws that hide in carpet) but it has a mini USB port and comes with a cord for charging.

I've been using aluminum Vamo v5's in 18350 mode for the light weight and minimal size for pocket use. The DPV 50 is about one inch shorter than the Vamo. I like it enough to have ordered another and I also ordered a Kanger Sub Tank Plus to further explore building my own attys.

Edit to add: I celebrated 3 yrs. with no cigarettes on 3/16. Thank God for ecigs!!
