it does it without even an atomizer on it. Really sucks because I love that springy positive post. Keeps my atomizers from having the positive jammed up so they don't work anymore.
I'm flexable on tube or box...

edit
just looked at the testla. It is only vv and does not have the floating pin. Will keep looking at the video, but nothing in the description about watts or pins

Ok... It has v watt too

hana modz has Blems in stock for 99.00 for a full sized, & 79.00 for a mini. I know some have a floating 510, & on older models you can get it upgraded to that when you order. Mine is a fixed 510 which works with my KF's. The full size take an 18650 battery & the mini's have a battery pac inside. Not sure if you have to send it in to get the pac replaced when it dies, or if can just order the new pac & unplug the old one & plug in the new one. I know they are American made & repairable.

I really hope she is doing well too. I know she was going through some medical stuff and have been concerned about her.

Oh yeah, been there with the fire stuff. Fires get going, the power goes off and it's ohhhhh ....! We do have a battery backedup scanner but it doesn't get vape mail tracking updates. Somebody should invent a vape mail tracker. Maybe that's what smart phones are for.

I get vapemail tracking from on all my vapemail. USPS, Fedex, & UPS all offer it. You sign up & get text messages reporting on where it is. Right now the rotary tool I ordered from Amazon is sitting at the Post Office available for pickup. But it's not the PO in my town. It's in a town not too far away which happens to be where I am house & pet sitting at the moment. Why it got sent there I have no idea. They probably sent it Fedex parcel post & Fedex decided to leave it at a random Post office. There is nothing on the order stating what carrier they used, but it's tracking through USPS. I'll be talking to Amazon about it tomorrow. AFTER I pick it up so they can't send off somewhere else.

Good Sunday Morning to all.

I was going to check in and review https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...hentic-smowell-dpv-50-variable-wattage-vw-apv so this is good timing.

I don't know if sub ohm vaping is for me but I wanted something to help me fiddle with the concept. I have built a Fogger with one coil @ 0.9 ohms and I couldn't get the power low enough to cool the vapor enough.

Anyhoo: the Smowell DPV 50 is a small, light weight "box" mod. It is VW only but it tells you the voltage at each setting. The fit and finish are excellent. It has a 510 fitting with a floating (looks like) copper center pin. Uses one 18650 battery that loads via a bottom door that is screwed on (with itty bitty screws that hide in carpet) but it has a mini USB port and comes with a cord for charging.

I've been using aluminum Vamo v5's in 18350 mode for the light weight and minimal size for pocket use. The DPV 50 is about one inch shorter than the Vamo. I like it enough to have ordered another and I also ordered a Kanger Sub Tank Plus to further explore building my own attys.

Edit to add: I celebrated 3 yrs. with no cigarettes on 3/16. Thank God for ecigs!!

Congratulations on the 3 years!

Indeed, every overly officious ant is jumping on the bandwagon against vaping... and the "cash cow" mentality is running amok.

Thought these folks did a nice job and Washington is in the same boat. :D

Thank you. I was just being snooty because our internet service provider has been mostly down for about a week. If I got text updates on my dumb phone, it just might explode. Our FedEx people won't even bother to drop it at a PO, they just send it back to the shipper. Marvelously technologically advanced corner of the world I live in.

Here's a thread on how to use the new forum once they get it up and running. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/forum-how-tos/666330-xen-foro-tips-tricks.html

ETA I'm sorry, I don't know why it won't post the video but the link does work.

Ok I want to twist a kanthal wire and a nickel wire together whats the best way to do it since you don't have a loop to hook to a drill?

Only one video per post so have to make a new on for this. Deb posted this recently and looks easy enough.

I posted this before, but for newbies......here's a super easy way to do twisted coils without a drill

Lol! My smart a** phone gets everything, but lies about the weather! Or it just argues with me.
The only reason Fedex drops at my PO is because I address everything to my PO Box. If it weren't for that it would go to a local hub & they'd leave a note for me to go get it. I never even check my box at my apartment. I started using a PO Box probably 25 years ago, after having mail stolen out of my mailbox one time too many. Anyone who needs to reach me knows my PO Box.

That Truth About Vaping video is great! Saved it so I can tweet it forever!

URGENT:
Bill Threatens Extreme Restrictions on Vapor Products

As a Washington customer of ours, we want to keep you informed about important government developments that threaten your ability to use electronic cigarettes and other vapor products.

HB 1645 has been altered and has passed through a 2nd vote.
These alterations to the bill have made it significantly more detrimental to the vaping community in the state of Washington.

HB 1645 - This bills would (among other things)

Ban all internet sales
Shipping vapor products to individuals in Washington would be considered a Felony.

Ban sampling in vape shops
No more ability to try a flavor before you buy it, unless the shop requires ID to show that everyone who enters the store is 18+.

Require restrictive and overbearing licensing requirements
Names, Addresses, Phone Numbers, and a list of all vapor items purchased from each consumer must be retained for a minimum of 5 years along with many other excessive restrictions.

Change the definition of "Vapor Products" to include Kanthal wire, cotton, etc.
Meaning all the bans and limitations would be applied to all of these types of products.

Regulate the chemical composition of e-liquid
At any time they could determine that they no longer want any chemical to be used in e-juice, include propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycerin.

Allow local governments to add additional restrictions and/or regulations
In addition to the restrictions above, any City or County could add additional restrictions or regulations.
These Regulations would be effective October 2015.

ACT NOW!

With an issue as important as this, we are asking that you not only send an email, but make phone calls to each of the following representatives and ask that they Vote NO to HB 1645!

Please be courteous and respectful at all times.
Tell them your personal story of how vaping has changed your life.
They may know very little about vapor products, so educate them and ask them to support your position politely for best results.

THANK YOU

Thank you for your willingness to weigh in. It’s important for all adult consumers of electronic cigarettes and vapor products to fight for our right to vape.
