I think Australia is lagging a bit, actually. Especially Western Australia, and the incident you mentioned was in Queensland, if I recall correctly.
that's so ridiculous!!!
Do they let y'all have bleach?? That's poisonous! Not sure if its directly to do with vaping ( though that could have entered into things now) more so than the Poison aspect of it for that State.

Howdy Nermal!!

jup same here! so can y'all not buy cigarettes either? Not that you'd want to of course. Or are they still legal?Sadly like many lets say anti vapour people they get confused when you speak logically

Easy Deb see your speaking logically.
omggggggggg what a ripoff!! sorry that happened. just looked them up and that is just so wrong!!Last week I googled Boba's, saw Alien Vapors at the top of the page,
that stinks. I'm doin pretty well with it, but.....there were a lot of fancier things that I never learned to do on the old one....and I think that's where a lot of folks are having issues.Hi Deb!This new format is outsmarting me constantly. Plus I seem to be having a few glitches with it today. Old dogs, new tricks and all that.
Funny... in the mirror I don't look like an idiot. But I sure feel like one sometimes.
I think I just got ripped off on some Boba's Bounty, thinking I was getting the original.
After using DIY juices for a long time, mostly unflavored lately, I recently decided to get more interested in flavors and premixed juices, and start trying some. So I read many threads in the General E-juice section here, shopped the websites of several popular vendors, and tried to get a feel for which vendors are best and which flavors I might be interested in.
I ran across a reference to Boba's Bounty, which made me remember it from a couple of years ago, and how popular it used to be. I never had any back in the day because it was so scarce then, and I wasn't really interested in premium juices when I first started vaping.
Last week I googled Boba's, saw Alien Vapors at the top of the page, and remembered the "alien" part... sounded right so I ordered some (along with Gorilla Juice and RY4), came in yesterday.
It's acceptable, and my wife likes it, but... it didn't exactly knock my socks off like I expected. So I wondered what the "big deal" about it was.
More research and I find out the original Boba's was from Alien Visions and NOT Alien Vapors.
So I guess $26.79 is not too much to pay for yet another little life-lesson.
1) Just because it's at the top of a google search doesn't mean it's what you're looking for.
2) Beware of counterfeits and knock-offs.
3) If something is wildly popular, there will be counterfeits and knock-offs.
Yes, you got burned. I don't know why Alien Visions hasn't sued Alien Vapors. You are in good company though, a lot of good people have been duped by Alien Vapors. Don't let your wife try the real stuff until she finishes the other juice. I'm sorry that happened to you.
They ought to sue the pants off 'em... right now ~I'd~ sue 'em if I had grounds.
The more I think about it, the madder I get!
would definitely try that!! That is beyond wrong. Mighta wanna look into deceptive trade practices act, cuz I bet that would apply, and add that in your email. Worked for me in a situation. Lawyer told me for free exactly what to say and that was part of it.He reported they were very polite about it and refunded his money. You have nothing to lose by trying.
One person, and I'll never be able to find the post as it was quite a while ago, was so mad he wrote and complained. He reported they were very polite about it and refunded his money. You have nothing to lose by trying.
ETA - You do have grounds, they are trying to sell a counterfeit by using a similar company name and an identical product name. How much more obvious do they need to be?

just my 2 cents, but hope ya mean strongly worded rather than nasty. I wouldn't get ugly, but would let em know in no uncertain terms, that's not acceptable, and you're prepared to push the issue if necessary. You don't need to be really prepared, but most won't take the chance on itThey will be getting a nasty email from me... grrrrrrrr!
