so sorry you didn't like it, but I'm bettin you'll get a build/wick you really like. I think they probably are different with BF, I'm loving mine as long as I get this mild leaking issue fixed! It actually stole the coveted spot atop the woodvil from my beloved nuppin yesterday. Today started some minor leaking, which will NOT be tolerated. Either that stops or it'll go back to the metal grand.

7 wraps of 26ga on a 2mm wicked with rayon in the RM2... Lawd have mercy,..Flaaavooooor!

Yeah I'm getting a 30ml of catalan cream cuz they're out of the 10's. A couple others I'm not getting cuz I don't want either a 30 or one was even 120 ml and 250 ml so newp. lol Feel fairly confident taking the chance on the catalan cream though. SIL will hopefully love this with the espresso to make a cappucino.

oh wow, yeah most folks do take the tip out and angle it like that, some don't if they use a super wide bore tip

Done fooling with the Derringer. Tried four different builds and all were mediocre. Last one was making me cough. Gets hot and spits juice up the drip tip. I can put any old build in the Tugboats and wick it however and they work great. Thumbs down for the Derringer.

Hi folks, I don't come in as often as I should. Too many things in my life to distract me. Since I started vaping and successfully managed to quit smoking I have been searching for flavor. I have listened to others and from recommendations I have really enjoyed the flavor I receive from my Herakles with the .6 coil. As far as tanks go I have enjoyed the Kanger Subtank, Atlantis V1, and V2. When I bought the Herakles I fell in love. I now have two of them loaded with my two favorite DIY ejuices, Rumchata in one and Peaches & Cream in the other. I also have started dripping to further enhance my flavor quest. I have picked up a few drippers that people have touted as best for flavor chasers. I have the Doge V2, Mutation X V3, Freakshow and Freakshow Mini. Now, don't get your granny pants in an uproar. Yes, all of them give me great flavor, so I don't want anyone to think different. They all also give me better flavor than any tank I own. I was browsing some sites the other night and came across a video of a new dripper. The Fogwind Alliance RDA. After watching the video, I checked my favorite online retailer and since the price wasn't that high I decided to add one to my collection of "Shinnieitus". When it came in I made up a set of duel coils, grabbed my favorite store bought ejuice (Vanilla Dream by Code 3 Vapor) and fired it up. Wow! I was amazed at the flavor. After a bit of dripping, I loaded up the Freakshow and the Doge V2 just to compare. The Fogwind was the winner! I spent a very enjoyable day sitting by the pool enjoying my new RDA. If you are looking for a new dripper I can't praise the Fogwind enough. For flavor, I don't think it can be beat. If you are looking for clouds, just change out the ring and you are good to go. I apologize for the long-winded post. Enjoy!

kewl! will need more nic and pg/vg before then, but that's doable. Ended up with 21 flavors all together. 3 coffees for SIL, black tea for me, vanilla bourbon for nephew, several creams, lots of fruits, and some vanilla bean ice cream. Mostly 10 ml bottles, but two were 30 mls. One of them 30 ml was the smallest I could get in that flavor, and one I can see me adding to pretty much everything, using for the flavor but also using as a sweetner. Still a few vaping zone I want to try, but will see how I do with these. lol

Seventy bucks worth of flavoring?! Woohoo! And I think $12 is a lot. We want reports, lots of reports. Happy mixing!

I don't know why, but it never occurred to me that I should just take the drip tip out and drip down the 510 hole on the top cap. Just angle it so the drops fall near the wick sections and they will soak up the juice. Been doing that with the Tugboat all morning and not a single drop of juice has leaked out. Probably works the same for the Derringer. I can get more drops in there that way too. Getting ready for a third go at the Derringer.

Only flavor I could get out of it was from the juice it kept spitting up the tip. Disappointing but it was dirt cheap and it kept me from wasting the money on a BF version. Glad you are having better luck with yours.

You probably have a very good point there. That's why I have all those little vials of flavors that make me scratch my head as to why I ever ordered them.

well, no idea, cuz I don't have it yet, just ordered it today. Yiddle ordered some and added some of it to an eggnog flavor, but just did that yesterday or the day before and hasn't tried it yet. I'm hoping I'll like it, and was thinking it might be good mixed with an espresso or coffee for my sil. I got 30 mls of it coming cuz they were out of 10 mls, so hope I like it.

Dang hun, sorry you've had so much trouble with it, that's weird.

I got it cleaned up and was about to put it back in the box but decided to give it one last try. Went with quite a bit less wick and it's starting to work like I thought it would. Thing is, the ID on these coils off the gizmo is pretty big and they use a thicker, longer length of cotton in the Tugboat but I guess the same style wick took up too much room in the Derringer. I think it just needed some more space in the deck for air to move through because it's not getting hot at all now with .5 duals at 32 watts. It's not spitting bad maybe a little right after dripping. I knew these had to be good with all the glowing reviews of them. Just have to do a better job wicking it!
