A funny aside mdw3258calif it was a thread in the WoW forums nearly 2 years ago that first got me interested in vaping at all. ;) Unfortunately the people in that thread insisted a top of the line volcano setup was the only good option and the $200 bucks for it wasn't in the cards at the time. A year later it was a thread on a Second Life 3rd party forum actually got me setup with something affordable and the rest is history. :)

SO you see even we gamers doing what we do can lead others to vaping.

Myranny, sorry you had such a day today! Hope you get your "stuff" back soon.

Meantime, here's a picture for you of the 8W, 20, Sentinel, and a Vamo (in '350 mode) for comparison.

Umanbean, what's that band you have on the Vamo, protecting the buttons?

(Ken_A beat me to it, but :)) it's a flat, natural rubber band. Specifically, a Hobbico #64... I "stole" it out of my RC airplane toolbox, got a big bag of them for holding the wings on a mid-size plane. (let me know if you need some, I'll shoot 'em to ya) Natural rubber lasts longer before it starts getting sticky.

Making two turns around the mod makes it cross itself twice but otherwise lay flat (instead of twisting into a wad). I just wrap it, then tweak it until one X is in front and one in back. A round toothpick works good for tweaking.

BTW, that works great on the Vamo, I hardly ever accidentally change settings anymore!

Hi and HAPPY NEW YEAR ya'll,

Thought I would give my 2 cents on two recent purchases. I have a new Innokin 30s clearomizer and a new Aspire Vivi Nova glass
omizer. By far my fav is the 30s but I like both better than the PT1's that I have. Like many of you have reported,
they produce more and better tasting vapor without burning the liquid. The 30s is downright pretty but the Aspire looks like
the head of the tin man from the Wizard of OZ. You don't have to be pretty to be good but it is better to be both. I have a Kayfun Lite Plus
in the mail from Cloud9 UK and I am anxiously awaiting delivery. It's gonna be a good year folks, I can just feel it.

I SO hope it is going to be a good year. My is starting out HORRIBLE.

I still have not been able to get an answer on my account. :(

Panick attacks dang near all day today and looking at hearing something tomorrow afternoon at the earliest (if not then it will be next week).

I had to do something I never do and mix up some 12 mg. I never vape that high but dangit I am having a nightmare controlling the cravings. Staying strong so far but OMG if this goes to next week I am going to put my fist through a wall.

I almost wish I didn't run across this vid on rebuilding the BDC heads. Since Thanksgiving I rarely used any of my rebuildables. I load a few BDC Davide's up for our week in Denver and liked them so much, they're all I've been using since. Sort of made my vaping more simple and fiddle free. Just change batts, fill up the tank, and every couple weeks change the head and throw the old one away.

But oops - there goes the simple life - now that I see how to rebuild the BDC's. hmmm - Janet got pretty good at rebuilding the Vivi Nova heads - maybe I can get her to do this for me along w/ making chicken soup.

I really like my Aspire ET-S BDC tanks but I have had some issues with some of the heads. I had been considering trying to rebuild them. Thanks for the link. I might give it a try.

Yep - I've had a couple-few wonky heads too. And on the Davide sometimes I have to gently wiggle the postive post out a bit to make good contact. Janet doesn't seem to have that issue using the Aspire tanks and the same heads.

Hot day-um! I should be busy for quite a while rebuilding my Aspire heads.

Took one apart several weeks ago and just didn't see how it could be done. Dis ol' dog digs new tricks!

Just don't understand two coils perpendicular touching and not giving issues. Oh well, I did see it on da internet...

ETA due to being slow: I occasionally have to slightly pull an Aspire +post for contact.

So punch the walls, lol - they're relatively cheap and easy to patch up. Your lungs not so.... keep vaping and when it is all fixed you'll be glad you did! Mix 12 or whatever you need to get you through those rough spots. Nothing wrong with needing a little extra sometimes :)

You are not alone. I had a vicious mood downswing last night. Seriously considering going to the local tobacco store and getting a bottle of ----------- White Rhino 12 mg to drip the next time that happens.

So sorry to hear about your trouble. Hope the 12 nic works. It usually has for me and you'll know when it's time to drop it again. Isn't it nice to have that choice! We've just finished up all the holiday fuss, maybe you're reacting to it being over? Hang in there. I hope this all gets straightened out quickly.

Iffy, It wasn't clear to me whether the 'two' coils were actually touching or had a minimal gap between them. If/when I try a BDC rebuild if there's room so the coils DO NOT touch, that's the way I'd do it. Doesn't make sense to me either having them touch.

That is my kind of vaping! I just never got into the fiddling! Maybe I simply got spoiled when 'Peaches' and I started almost 5 years ago with putting a carto on a battery and vaping. Simple, fast and effective & most importantly, satisfying.
That chicken soup is mighty welcome these cold days, eh?! :)

I'm pretty sure they are touching in that Rip pushed the coils with his finger while pulling the legs prior to the post replacement.

Guess I'll find out when I get a...

I think the fiddling topic is an interesting one :)

I really believe trying out all the new toys and all the fiddling I did was a huge help to keeping me focused on vaping and far away from smoking for the first couple of years of vaping. Even after I lost my addiction to nic I still enjoyed all the fiddling and trying out new stuff. But now, simple makes me happiest. :) I've always loved the variety my mod collection has given me but now I find myself using the same mod for weeks without changing to a different one. For a very long time I changed juice flavors several times during a single day but now I only change flavor when I empty a bottle and need to start a new one. I haven't rebuild a coil for many months as I've only used my old fashioned 510 attys to drip with when at home and taken a filled Protank II when leaving the house if I was driving. I normally only kill an atty or coil every 6-8 weeks so when I do I simply replace it will a new one.

I admit to being curious as to how I'll feel about it all when another year has passed and we get to the end of 2014. :vapor:

Hang in there Myrany, it will get better (((hug))) Nothing wrong with using some 12 mg juice once in a while if needed. Even when I'd lost my addiction to nic for the first year there would be an occasional time that a bit of 12 mg would be soothing to me so I'd use it. It never tempted me to return to using higher nic all the time. Today it's simply way too high for me to ever use but I still enjoy some 6 mg once in a while :)

If I ever decide to return to rebuilding my different coils you guys had better still all be around to help cause I think I've forgotten and will need some assistance. :)
