I am happy with duck tape on my new VAMO, but the moment I feel rich again, I will be ordering a J-Wrap. Choices, choices.
31 This is the winner right now. I need to think on this for a while. Spending fourteen dollars on a piece of printed plastic will not be a changeable whim, like duck tape is.

Yep, that's a lot of reading.

E-cigs are great for a trucker. No more ashes all over the cab !
It gets a lot easier to climb up in the truck, hook and unhook the 5th wheel, load and unload, make deliveries and pick ups, when you can breath again.
And best of all the windshield stays clean !
What kind of trucking do you do ... all over the country, seeing everywhere, or do you get to go home at night.

Sounds like you followed the same path we all went down, and have now found starting gear you like.
The next biggie is finding juices you like.
I would suggest buying "samplers" packages. That way you can try a lot more for a lot less.
You get about 6 small bottles in each of fruits, tobaccos, sweets etc
Also, even if you don't like some of them, hang on to them.
After your taste buds finish coming back and changing around, (couple of months), you may not like what you did like anymore, and like the ones you didn't.
You can even mix them together to improve or dilute a juice.
Also, maybe pick up some juices in different levels of nicotine to have on hand until you find the strength that suits you.
Sounds like your doing OK with what you have though.

It get's kind of expensive at first, finding what you like, but once you settle in,
it's sooooo much cheaper (unless you turn it into a "hobby" like me)

I do mostly the eastern half of the US. Stay out for 5-6 days at a time and get home on weekends.
Right now I'm on a three week long vacation. Having cataract surgeries.
They are doing the right eye this afternoon.
What's killing me right now is they won't let me eat anything today till after surgery.
Since it is at 2:30 this afternoon, I will most likely starve by then. I'm a big eater.

Peepaw...welcome to the thread. It looks like you picked a good time to be off the roads. I worked in surgery for years and it always baffled me that patients scheduled for 7 or 8 could not eat/drink after midnight. Patients scheduled for noon or later could not eat/drink after midnight. Can't somebody do the math?? Well, it turns out the your comfort is not as important as the surgeons schedule. If a case cancels, they want to be able to move you up to fill the slot. Anyway, good luck with the surgery. They're doing wonders with eye surgery these days.

As to comfortable/long running mods, nobody has mentioned the Innokin MVP2. IIRC, it's 2600mah and it's vv/vw, Rectangular, rounded edges and uses a flat-side-mounted thumb button. Oddly, I have one but still use a VAMO in 18350 mode.

Yepper, learned a while ago to make surgery/blood test/etc. appointments in da morn; even if I have to wait a week or so longer.

Since my bride can't drive anymore, I had my eyes done a month apart. What an improvement!

Get back with us when ya can.

uh oh - Just saw this post by one of the mods in another 'big' thread. We've got 20,881 as I type - I wonder if we'll get closed down.

Maybe we will get Grandfathered in. Don't they know we older folks don't like change (unless it's a change from smoking to vaping or changing the subject) :D

Aww...Saving money with Vaping, hehehehe! True: After a while when you collect enough stuff to gag en elephant (at least for me...and some others around here; I'm thinking) and/or find what fits your fashion. That's when the savings start to rush in. :)

Someone else mentioned here or some other where...when you were puffing cigarettes, you buy a pack and it goes up in smoke and all you have left is the empty pack and the necessity to purchase or open another pack. With vaping, at least you have something that remains when the tank/carto, etc. is empty or the battery needs to be recharged.

I go thru periods when I don't buy anything...short periods, but. I like new stuff, always seeking something that is maybe a little better, maybe a little more 'shinier'. Some time I sell what is no longer in my daily rotation, but with cigs all I had to sell afterwards was an empty cig pack and there never seemed to be much demand for those.

Agree with you that first one has to decide to quit cigs...But, I didn't want to quit smoking and that's why vaping made for a perfect segue. I'm in on this vaping thing...totally enjoy everything about it, haven't found anything negative for me about it...YMMV. :D

Looks like my Nitecore i4 charger has bit the dust. Yesterday bay 1 quit and now bays 3 & 4 have. I am not holding out much hope for bay 2

Fortunately I still have my crappy trustfire charger. grrrrrrrr

GUess it is time to hunt a new charger

Check ebay...got my i4 from there...hope it don't decide to go south on me anytime soon. If it does I may try something different, but I do like it...charges everything I got an more and it's pretty dang quick, too. :)

Myrany just be careful with the trust fire until you get a new one...I had one that the power cord blew on me..scared the crap out of me. Hello all I don't remember if I've posted here before or not. I've been vaping since Oct 2010 and have gone through many phases and purchased way to many toys. Like Willie said above I've been able to sell/trade many items throughout time. I now find myself scaling back on the toys as I'm very happy with my current Pro Vari Mini/KFLs, Micro Stick with Spheroid or Sophia/Slim tanks. I have a couple of GP 18350 mods as well I use at home, but don't trust the bottom buttons for out and about. There is a nice variety of knowledge and types of equipment used on this thread, lots of good information available.

Yep Trustfire is not my choice of charger. It was replaced for a reason. ;)

Btw I lived in Ames for nearly 6 years. I miss it horribly. Central Iowa is a wonderful place to be.
