My experience with the vivi nova is like Tx.....I have only replaced one head in 3 months. I just tried my first mini...and got good flavor from mine so far...have only used one juice in it.....will try another flavor.

Edit: thinking about this....I don't drip, so maybe I'm more accepting of "muted flavor"???

I have been using my same four heads for several months too and I've not had to replace one yet. I don't think I've even dry burned one yet, just an occasional rinse out with warm water. I'm like you and Mike I'm not really a flavor connoisseur, I tend to vape strong flavors like menthol, hot cinnamon and tobacco flavors so I probably don't notice the muted flavor. I usually vape 80/20 Pg/Vg so it is pretty thin juice and all my Vivi's have long wicks so I don't seem to have wicking issues.

I was impressed with the Vivi Nova initially but I find that they don't hold up very long with the juice I use. I got some replacement heads for it and I've run about 3 mls of juice through one and the vapor is about 1/2 of what it was new. I do use a lot of VG and find that a single coil carto in a tank last longer than the Vivi does. I haven't had much luck cleaning them and I spend way too much time fiddling with it.

As they say, your mileage may vary.

I have a question, that hasn't been addressed..Where did you buy your Vivi Nova's? ..Ive been seeing knock offs ,of knock offs,of knock offs!!..I payed $13.95 for mine..Yes a higher price..BUT they are The TRUE V2.5..and they WORK!!..I saw a vendor list yesterday he had just gotten in the V2.5 Nova's..Looking closer ..He mentioned that the air holes were in the base..not above the threads..WTH that's the V1 that weren't worth a S... With some things you can be "penny wise, and pound foolish" JMHO

Oh one more quick question: THe Riva - It sounds like carto's come with it - Are they as easy to refill??

That kit has cartridges. Buy a couple of clearomizers and put the cartridges in your Apocalypse cache.

What "Tank" style works with these?

Just about any tank will fit. But take the recommendations of the 'hive mind' within this thread.

Appreciate the input - Yes - I know it's high priced but I found the site by the 50% code someone posted on here a few pages back. Thought I'd asked how long it was good for. So figured that "Justice" would be $30.

According to post 65 here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ec-working-now-get-50-off-entire-order-7.html it's good til midnight tonight. :)

Even with the 50% off the T2's would still be almost double that as other places. :)

It's from Hoosier Ecig it is a version 2.0. The holes are in the right place and Vivi Nova is stamped on the tank. It came in a Vivi Nova box with the 2.4 ohm head on the device and the 1.8 & 2.8 ohm heads in the box. The replacement heads are also from Hoosier ECig, I purchased 3 2.8 ohm heads. Every description, picture, video, and spec about the Vivi Nova matches the the device I have. I did not buy a cheap knockoff, I bought the real deal.

Umm - what tank DOES the "HIVE" reccomend at this point??? I'm so confused! Probably the best time to just stop and "sleep on this" a few days ... but "Sale" ploy is working today. Sheesh! Good way to waste money (Rushing).

TX'T: Yes - Looking at that - w/o a comparison thot it sounded pretty spendy even w/ the discount! Thanks for confirming!

ETA: Dah! Does the CC Clear Carto will work w/ the Riva? It's not specifically stated - Don't see much on Riva tho I've considered them before - just don't recall what vendor.

Those are the same as Gotvape sells. I've bought mine from three different vendors and they are all exactly the same. There are other similar ones out now but I haven't tried any of them. Gotvape always charges a couple of dollars more for the same carto or tank as some other vendors do but because of their volume they are usually one of the first ones to get new stuff especially from Vision.:)

There was some kind of change between 2.0 and 2.5 vivi novas. Can't remember off the top of my head if it was the tank tube or something to do with the coils on the head.

For those of you with really gunked up coils on the heads, try simmering them in a little water with a heavy dose of white vinegar. This works to get burnt on food off of stainless steel pans :) You'll want to do a soak in vodka or something else afterwards to get rid of the vinegar taste. Also, don't forget to do another rinse after dry burning to get rid of the burnt off residue as that may be the scource of a burnt taste after cleaning. ;)

Decided to "cool mah jets" for a while. I found some smaller sized (filler free) Kanger M3's that I'm crossing my fingers and hoping will work for new juices til I figure out what I really 1) Want 2) Need 3) Afford. (The VV's sound VERY enticing!)

When the time is right, it will all come together. In the mean-time - I will continue to enjoy the 808 threaded hardware I do have! I have bookmarked the Riva & the CC Clearo's for the time being. Really like the rebuildable part!

Have a great day everyone! Time to get some actual work done! :D

Gosh - rushing does NOT pay! Did get a nice order in at Mt. Baker Vapor! Looking forward to that as well in the Pg/Vg ratio SI recommends for their products. This way I can tweak the 50/50 juice I just got and hopefully it 'flow' better thru the carto's!

BTW: If I didn't mention it before: Butterscotch Puddine X-Flav is great w/ RY4!
Also found a new "occasional" vape: Chocolate Martini! Better than Turtle Cheesecake!

I have 2 of the Viva Nova 2.5 kits and I'd really like to make them work for me but the taste is very muted. I am using the short wick and about 50/50 pg/vg.

That's just really weird unless your cartos and tanks give flavor that is beyond amazing. lol I don't have a lot to compare it to, but wow I get great flavor from mine.

Maybe they've lasted so long because I rotate 6 of 'em, it's not like I've used 1 or 2 consistently for 6 to 8 weeks.

I've only got 1 vivi, have been using basically the same 2 heads with it for about 7 weeks (have rarely used the 2.8 head but I will now with the gripper) and like Tx I have yet to change out a head. Mostly 70pg juice and have only used a little bit of really dark juices.

Good morning

I found this review on the Vivi Nova's

I saw this last night Mul, and thought wow, if Phil liked it, that's about the best endorsement ever. lol He doesn't like any kind of clearo type thing. If it's not a boge in a tank he don't have much use for it.

Has everyone seen Phil's Vision Stardust review? If not, it's worth your time for the giggles. :)

Taste Your Juice | VISION EGO CLEAROMIZER V3 (I THINK) – LONG WICK

Jup saw that awhile back. Too funny!!

Any deals on the gripper out there?
Madvapes has em for 49.99 in black and silver, not sure if they have any coupon codes, but I bet they might.

Can I like this about a million or two times?! I know that some things are exactly the same elsewhere for less, but some things just aren't! Even when they say they are. The 2.0 vivi came with short wicks instead of long, and there was another difference that I don't remember. Some folks liked the 2.0, some didn't. I know a lot of folks don't like gotvapes, but I have no problem with em. There are probably some things that another vendor might even have a better product than GV, but I've seen time after time that most everyone who bought a particular thing elsewhere didn't like it, and the ones who got it from gv loved it. I'm sure that happens in reverse sometimes too though.

Good news!! I got my strawberry pie juice finally (my fav juice so far), that went on a 2 day scenic tour of Texas. But....the DFW post office put it as return to sender so luckily through a lot of diligence and making a post office supervisor person make some calls she really didn't wanna make.....it did NOT go back to ohio, but was stopped at some sort of Tx sorting center and sent back to me. Yea!!

Bad News!! I got my first overnight vivi nova leak last night. I've heard a few others say this has happened, but I'd not experienced it. Still don't know why it happened. But it leaked quite a bit of juice out. It was sitting in a case, so not sure how much cuz I don't remember exactly how full it was, but I think it was pretty full, and it was pretty empty when I got up. I cleaned it, put on a different head (not a new one), filled it, and it's working fine. I didn't have it totally on it's side, I put it in the case and lean it sort of at an angle on the edge of the case. To be safe, I'll be putting it in a shot glass from now overnight.
