I have come up with a nice diy flavor it is a orange spice made with mtbaker vapors flavorings I dont know the percentages but I added 15 drops of orange, 4 drops of cinnamon, and 4 drops of clove to a 10ml bottle of my 6mg nic base. On inhale I get the orange (kinda light but it has not steeped) on exhale I get the spice. wait for it, wait for it, the after taste is all flavors mixed. My experience in the past with cinnamon and clove is the atty or in this case the ce4 head will always have the spice flavor so I have a dedicated ce4 just for this and other "spice" flavors. This is in a long wick version 3? i think that is not suppost to crack, I will put it in something if I leave any in overnight. Might try this with pear also or a new mix with pear instead of orange. Have a nice day y'all I got to go play!

Glad ya asked! I did a 50/50 mix of my DIY flavs. Must say that it's a great combo!!! I'm getting a pear flavor 'pop' on the inhale with a BB hint in the mouth and on the exhale. Then there is a pleasant unique combo/blend aftertaste. Delicious!

<'cuse me while I drip a bit more on my 306...umm umm good>

My two main vapes are peach and pear. But I think I'll have to use the pear with the BB from here on out.

I probably would have never combined these two flavs. So THANX to Janet H for the inspiration and Kat for the reminder!!!

Sounds absolutely wonderful Iffy...ty for the update. I might hafta try that! I like peach, haven't yet tried pear and blueberry but that sure does sound awesome!

Fran I have a twist and it has been a nice addition to my ego collection, at first I didn't get what all the fuss was about but now that I have learned which ohms to vape at which volts it is wonderful, will be getting some more of these. I just can't see me with a box mode.....yet any way.

Hi rad. We have big vv's. I'm looking for something small hubby can carry in his shirt pocket. We've never used box mods either.

I have a question, that hasn't been addressed..Where did you buy your Vivi Nova's? ..Ive been seeing knock offs ,of knock offs,of knock offs!!..I payed $13.95 for mine..Yes a higher price..BUT they are The TRUE V2.5..and they WORK!!..I saw a vendor list yesterday he had just gotten in the V2.5 Nova's..Looking closer ..He mentioned that the air holes were in the base..not above the threads..WTH that's the V1 that weren't worth a S... With some things you can be "penny wise, and pound foolish" JMHO

I buy them from Got Vapes.....that way I know I am getting the real thing. I'm willing to spend an extra dollar or two to avoid the knockoffs. Been burned a couple of times....

The other vendor I buy from has them cheaper....but he has been very upfront about them not being the original. They are probably fine.....but I'm just a bit nervous about it.

Hi all, just catching up. Janet and I are in the Washington DC area visiting friends.

I've got a 2.8 ohm head on and it checks out at 2.8 before I start vaping on it. Once I take a few puffs it drops to 2.2 ohms.

I've tried the dry burns on a couple of heads in the past and get a burned taste on everything after that.

Sounds like when the coil gets hot it's shorting. Could be the coil wraps are too close and when the heat and expand, they could be touching. I've had this happen with a home made coil on my rebuildables. If you have the patience, try using a toothpick and gently try to separate the 'winds' of the coil.

Phil just needs to figure out that a PV is not an olimpic torch. You don't need to hold it vertical when you have it in your hand, and you can lay it on it's side on your desk.

Can't say this often enough, if you are getting dry scratche hits, burn taste, etc with a Nova or stardust turn the voltage down. These are not boge cartos, and their power requirements are different.
I just put a different cappuccino flavor in my mini nova with a 2.4 ohm head in it, and I had to turn it all the way down to 3v before the taste was right.
If you are one of those that insists that something has to work properly at 4.5 or 5 volts then these products are not for you.

I've noticed this too - particularly with the 2.8Ω head, I run it a bit lower than other in that Ω range. Yet the 2.4Ω head I still run at 4.1-4.2 volts just like my 2.5Ω atty's.

I've gotten them from Gotvapes, Discount Vapor, and Health-Cabin (co-op) and they all seem to be the same. Even from Gotvapes, I've gotten two different styles of long wicks, some long and stringy, others like a solid coil mini-rope.

I was already to click the buy button on the twist when I started looking at the gripper. Now I don't know which to get.

    Get them both (he he)

I have a question from a friend on the WTA. I can't answer him as I've never used it. He just got some and has been vaping it and likes it. He asked if he should be vaping it straight or mixing it into his juices.

Fran, unless he was able to get some WTA extract, the WTA juice commonly available from Aroma eJuice and Vapelicious is meant to be vaped without diluting or adding it to other juice. Supposedly the proportion of minor alkaloids to nic strength in WTA juice is meant to approximate a tobacco cigarette of 'that nic' strength.

I've been told to vape it straight. I did that the 1st time I vaped it and it made my head swim (like the 1st cig after being without nic for 6 months), so I mix mine with my regular liquid. They also say you shouldn't vape it exclusively, only when that "I need a cig" feeling comes along.

I was at 30mg diy regular liquid, now I vape 24mg regular liquid combined with 24mg high wta.

I've been vaping for ALMOST two months and already have 1 black and 2 stainless slim 510's, two white 510s, two 650 egos, and two 2 1100 stainless egos. During the day at work and away I use the 650 ego with Vision clearomizers, in the car and at home I use the 110 egos with Vision clearomizers, and I use the 510s as backups stocked with different ejuice flavors!

The Gripper is far better than the Twist but also costs more. It is more pocket friendly as well. The Twist is also longer than standard ego battery. The 18650 battery will last a good 24 hrs, better LED display than any of my VV, reads ohms and battery charge with one click.
The Twist is a good PV but just not in the same league as the Gripper. The only negative with the Gripper is it's case is plastic and the Twist might take more abuse.
I didn't think I would like vaping with a box mod but the Gripper is very comfortable to vape and I like the top fire button because it won't accidently fire in my pocket if I leave it on.

Hi Fran, on the WTA mixing, (and I saw Mikes quote also and agree) I started with WTA in the begining, 24or 26mg and vaped it alone to keep from having analog urges and it was becomming very strong in taste but really kept me off the bad stuff. So as time went on I found myself not desiring tabacco as much while only using regular nic ejuice and wasen't as harsh. One day when I had the urge I just added some of the e liquid with the added wta to my reg nic juice and this worked. As time has past, I find I don't need the wta now to keep me away from tabacco but add some to different juices for the flavor and added kick. I don't know if this is proper but it worked very well for me
